This guys took $1000 deposit from me for the Hyundai Tucson and sold that car to someone else without informing me!
This is a notorious dealership and they are scamming consumers!

Buyer Beware

Bought a brand new 2023 Hyundai Elantra N Line Ultimate back in May. Great car no complaints about it other than the swirl marks on the car. Sales rep Julius was very nice and informative so no complaints about him. Went to test drive the car and purchase it in the same day only to find out that somebody else was purchasing that car. Long story short, the people that wanted to buy that specific car ended up not purchasing it so I went ahead and purchased it. I was then told the dealership wasn’t going to let the car go for its price they had on the website and ended up charging me almost $8,000 extra for the car. Told me that the car is in “high demand” so they had to charge me more for the car. They didn’t mark up the price but they did let me know that I wasn’t able to buy the car for the ticketed price so they coerced me into buying a bunch of protection plans in order to buy the car. My sales rep, Julius, was helpful, informative and patient. They did fail to tell me that someone already wanted the car so I had to wait the day just for that person to let Julius know they didn’t want the car anymore. It is illegal to mark up new cars in Canada so this is the dealerships way of charging you without marking up the car. Just be aware that they will not “markup” the car, but they will try to push a bunch of protection plans in order to get more money out of it. In the end I am paying $44,000 for a vehicle that was ticketed at a little over $31,000. So this review is for the dealership. Julius did a wonderful job following his managers orders.

I couldn't be happier with my car delivery experience! From start to finish, it was smooth and hassle-free.

Nina is amazing! When I initially made my appointment with the call canter, they booked me an appointment before the store hours. Instead of telling me that or blaming anyone, Nina was happily came in early to be at my appointment. Only when I asked her why they were not open did she tell me what had happened. Also, in order to accommodate my families busy schedule, she came in on her day off to assist us (without telling me it was her day off when booking). When we realized our son forgot his sporting equipment in the back of our trade in, Nina hunted down the vehicle so we could find his things. We are still waiting on one of our new cars, and Nina constantly provides updates as she receives them without us having to prompt her. She is always quick to replay and eager to assist. To be honest, we were thinking of going with another car brand, but after dealing with Nina, decided to give her our business. Customer service as a whole is really lacking in our current society, so the fact that Nina’s customer service was so amazing was truly refreshing!

I recently purchased a new Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid from Kingscross Hyundai. The whole process of working with Clayton, Annie, and Justin at Kingscross made the buying process the best I've ever had. They were fair and transparent about costs and options, and did not pressure me at all into things I didn't want. They have been really communicative and helpful throughout. I couldn't recommend Kingscross more if you are thinking about buying a Hyundai. The service department is really good too.

We went to the place and have been entertained by Nina. Her services extended to us was great. She is very accomodating, and addresses our concerns and queries in a friendly approach. She listens to our perspective at first of being hesistant to avail of a used car, specifically with the issues and history pertaining to it. Overall, she explains how the company takes care of their clients during the first 36 days of having the car that made me and my husband decide to apply for it.

Me and my husband went to Kingscross Hyundai to get our brand new Santa Fe plug-in hybrid. We were amazed to see that they had every upcoming car for demo and that is how we got one for ourselves within a week. Rakib Rashedin who is a Sales person there helped us tremendously with the whole process and also helped us to get the car sooner with all the checks done.

I recently leased a 2022 Elentra and my experience with the dealership was very positive. The sales person Mr. RAKIB was very helpful and everything he said turned to be true information. I had to wait for about a month and a half for the car and the delarship made sure that communication was provided about the estimated delivery time.
Over all I can highly recommend the dealership and the vehicle as well.

Had my 2020 Santa Fe serviced at Kingscross Hyundai, my service advisor Imtiyaz was very professional and customer friendly, he explained everything in detail, so I know what to expect. This is my third time serviced and helped by Imtiyaz, and he did  excellent job every time, thank you Imtiyaz. Also worth mentioning, the service department waiting area maintains Covid-19 protocol, taking customers' temperature as they come in, seats are kept apart, everyone are masked, one feels safe to go in.

I have applied for my finance. Then one week later they said bank didn’t approve my application. After that, i have checked my bank inquiries, nobody inquired my credit histories. How come they did like this? I provided them paycheque, employment letter everything.
I am not satisfied with their services. Their service has to grow up.

First time there.spoke to nina over the weekend set up a test drive today found her very pleasant to deal with she allowed me to talk and explain what I was looking for as I had a few certain requests. She gave me a fair deal on the SUV and accepted a good price back for my trade in.nina is only going to get better in the years to come as she a people person and makes you very comfortable in the store.

It was a privilege and wonderful experience in purchasing my Kona at Kingscross Hyundai. On the day I picked up my car, the Senior Consultant, Mr. Ivan Wu, spent a considerable amount of time in explaining to me all the features of the new car to make sure I understood before I left. Mr. Wu is kind, courteous, patient knowledgeable and willing to help. An appointment for the first oil change was also scheduled in advance. The outstanding service and professionalism displayed by Mr. Clayton Tso, Dealer Principal, and his team has impressed me tremendously and so I would strongly recommend this dealership to my friends and relatives.

Edwin has been my "to-go" guy since I started going to Kingscross Hyundai for any services my car needed. I first came to this dealership after some bad experience at the Agincourt location and I was gladly surprised by how well I was treated there. 5+ years later, I have bought my last car there and I am very happy overall. When Edwin is not available for some reason, other members of the service team take over and I am never disappointed, they are all really nice.

After having done business with this location for more than a decade and three brand new vehicles I am sorry to report that I am no longer going to do business with Hyundai. I brought my car in for service on Monday at 11am as it would not start. I received a call after 5pm advising a starter was needed and I approved the repair. The service adviser said the part would need to be ordered but they should have tomorrow. Today I am told they will get the part tomorrow as it is in Richmond Hill and Hyundai only allows you to order once a day. I have spent 30 plus years in the HVAC service arena and I can tell you that if a part was in the greater GTA area you can have it within two hours, not days. Had I gone to another garage I can guarantee you that I would have had my car back within 24 hours. The idea that parts can only be ordered once per day is ridiculous and just another reason not to deal with Hyundai. The service here used to be great. People actually knew who you were. Now, you are just a number in the queue.

The story unfortunately now get's worse. I called this location to speak to the service manager and was told he was not in. I asked for the owner, not in. Sales Manager? Not in. I was passed around and was given to Ruben Santiago and was told he was the sales manager. Explained my situation and was told I would get a call back. Ruben did not call back and I now understand that Ruben is not a sales manager, he is one of the associates.

My car finally did get fixed and to annoy me further they gave it back with all of the programming in the radio including the time wiped out. They could not even bother to fix the time on the radio.

The service manager asked me to amend my review. I would if I could. I would amend this to zero stars as I paid my hard earned money to people who had no respect for my time or my money.

Made a duplicate key just before summer this year. Prior to that my remote starter was working fine. My remote starter has never worked ever since. I can remotely open and close the doors but not start the car remotely. I called you guys and now you want to charge $100. + just for diagnosis? This is ridiculous! I don't want to receive any marketing material from you via phone, email or regular mail.

I just visited the service center to report a weird noise on the drivers side while driving and was not sure if it was serious. But wasn't even attended just because I did not have an appointment. We never know what problem comes when, how can we schedule an appointment. If anything serious happens you would be responsible for it.

I was happy till now for all the services I did but this is not the way you treat. If you are booked atleast you can check the noise and let me know if it's serious or no. And schedule me an appointment accordingly.

What an awesome experience from two talented women! I came in and dealt with Rish who I really like how she thoroughly explained all the features and the details on the car. Then she took me on a test drive and man we drove slow. Like we had to SAVOUR the car she said like "fine wine" and you know what IT WORKS! I fell in love with the 2019 ELANTRA! The white suddenly became classy and sophisticated! I had no idea! Rish is really exceptional! Her attention to detail is magnificient! Kathleen explained warranties and rusting in a way that I understood. I like both of their people skills. I did not feel like an outsider or that I was less knowledgeable. I bought the car because of how I was treated. And I will absolutely bring my friends because the other dealerships are not doing this! Thank to you to you both and I will remember my first buying experience for the rest of my life!

Took my car in for an oil change. They broke the screws in the housing unit when they removed the splash guard. When I confronted the manager he lied to my face. If he had said my crew accidentally broke I would have accepted that but ot seems to be a theme with the service departments. I had the manager at downtown Hyundai lie to me as well. His story was they drove my car 13 kilometers to test the sunroof. A bit of advice to Hyundai get your employees trained in Customer service. I will never buy a Hyundai again. I have owned many GM cars and never had this problem. I think I go back to buying GM card.

The receptionist was friendly. I wanted to test drive a kona as i had also got an invitation to test drive and get a gift card. I had booked fir an appointment but got no response from them for 2 weeks. Then when I go there around 7.45 pm they had no clue of my appointment email, they make me wait and then send me with this bad attitude driven woman Bhavani who remarks sarcastically that if i really want buy a car or just came for the gift card. She gets a model i don't want to test drive which has low fuel and drives half way around the block herself and then gives it to me to drive back to the store. Then quickly shoos us saying that they were going to close even though it was only 8.35 pm. She asks us to email the asian manager the pin and said that he would send us the gift card. When i email him almost a month later about the gift card. He replies saying that it says it is already redeemed. If i didn't go anywhere else to test drive who else would have taken it. If they do this for a 50 $ card, imagine how they would cheat you for a car worth thousands. I would stay clear of this place and buy elsewhere.

I was shopping for my first car here. Caroline was helping me find the perfect car for me. At first I tried test driving the 2014 Hyundai Elantra Used, but Caroline talked me into trying out the brand new 2018 Hyndai Elantra which ended up being an amazing idea! I can't thank Caroline enough, she did a wonderful job helping me get this car. She did not put any pressure on me whatsoever and I truly enjoyed her service. I recommend anyone who's looking to buy a used/brand new car to shop here at Kingscross Hyundai and deal with Caroline, a very nice happy funny outgoing lady! I now own a brand new 2018 Hyundai Elantra thanks to her!

The sale and purchase of my new car went without a hitch. It's the service department that I'm really disappointed with. Came to get my car serviced for its first oil change and asked if they can also remove the wheel locks on each rim and replace them with the regular lug nuts that came with the car that I already had in the glove box while the car was on the car lift getting the oil drained. Even though it's a quick 5-10 min swap from the wheel lock to a regular lug nut, the service rep wanted to charge me an additional $60 to get them swapped, I tried to reason with and ask for this small request to be done so the hubcaps I bought for my steel wheels would fit, but to no avail. It's absolutely ridiculous that they can't spend 5-10 mins changing out lug nuts on the car, but can spend 5-10 mins giving you a free car wash after your service.

I've given this business one star only because there is no option for zero. I was there from 10: 00 a.m. And the salesperson kept me until 5: 00. The long wait was because he was trying to put his hands in several pockets, so much so that even though I had already paid him $2000 towards the purchase of a car, he allowed other customers to take it for a test drive. Again, he let others drive a car that I had put a down payment on! Absolutely unethical behavior. The manager, Mr. Santiago (I think is his name) was very nice, as he offered an apology (as did another staff member) and quickly started the process of refunding my money. I urge everyone to be ultra sure you want the car you are buying, because a refund goes through head office and takes time. No wonder people have nasty things to say about used car salesmen.

Another great experience at Kingscross! Went for our regular maintenance and was met with the same personal touch as always. It is consistent and always has been for us. Special thanks to Imtiyaz who kept the spirit at Kingscross alive:) he was awesome and ensured we understood every detail of the service, and even did an initial walkthrough to ensure there was nothing physical at risk to us on the outside of the car. Hyundai Kingcross provided me with exceptional customer service. Risha made the entire process smooth and easy for myself. She was very patient and informative through the entire process. Her customer first approach was the exact reason why I saw my purchase through the end. She addressed every concern and question I had which made me confident in the purchase of my new Hyundai Tuscon. Risha made sure she asked me what I wanted and needed and ensured I got no less than that. She introduced then to Kathleen who was absolutely amazing walked me through my options the steps that needed to be taken. She was very understanding and was nice to have her in the end come and congratulate me on my new car. Risha continued to keep consistent communication with me and it was as if she was getting a new vehicle with me. Thank you for the great service!
