I had an issue with an overdue payment on a fitness club.i explained the situation to jenn noonan with kingston, and provided proof i had paid the bill.jenn was able to remove the negative comment from kingston on my TU credit report, and closed the case.it was gone from all reports by TU in 2 days! Not 30-90.my score went up 50 points overnight! Thank you!

This collection company is racist even after paying my account they still put bad comments on my credit report. As soon as the lady got my name her tone and attitude changed from nice to authoritative rude.

I really wish I could rate this company -10 stars. This lady Amy she is extremely rude hang up the phone on me. This company has had me on Collection for the past 8 months I told them I don’t owe them anything but she will not listen nor contact the company that hire them to get this shorter out. This is causing me great difficulty as it’s impacting my credit score and financial crisis because of this company as they will not fix their errors.

She should learn about basic communication manners.
I literally had to call twice stating that I want to resolve this matter but OMG! She is so hard to talk to.

It's impossible to get through to anyone from this company either via phone or email. They represent clients with thousands of complaints of fraudulent activities, that manufacture owing amounts, such as enercare, etc.and use threatening emails. I have filed a complaint with better business bureau for Kingston Data and the client they are representing. They cannot manufacture any documentation supporting their claims. Paying also doesn't solve anything, the claim is never closed as the clients they deal with use their services for extortion not recovery.

I wanted to contact the company about billing outsourcing for my business, especially after reading the testimonials about the great customer service. When I called I was greeted with a rude customer service representative which tainted any chance of your organization working for us. I suggest that, even though you're a debt collection agency as well, you at least ask why someone is calling when your phone system forwards all 'other' inquiries through your debt collection line or at least teach your debt collectors simple phone etiquette.

SPAM SPAM SPAM. Keep receiving these robo calls from Patricia Addis. Call says to press 1 to speak with her. Pressed 1 numerous times and she is not there.
Setting the call to spam. Very irritating especially since I don't owe anyone money and I absolutely would never deal with their incompetent service for my business. It obviously doesn't work if she never answers her own call. So, silly. Imagine paying for their service to collect from clients and she uses an automated call service but never answers once connected. Take me off your list immediately or I am complaining to the CRTC about your SPAM calls.

I came across Jennifer from Kingston data and credit as certain hospital bill payment claims were rejected by insurance without my knowledge and was sent to Kingston data and credit to demand payment. Although it took months, Jennifer was very patient throughout the process and kept my account on hold as I requested. I really appreciate that Jennifer was always approachable and understanding to the situation.

There seems to be a common tone with Kingston Data and Credit. Looks like I am the newest victim. Rachal called me in the same manner as other reviewers have described, threatening me and my wife, asking for proof, not listening to anything we have to say, etc. I have submitted e-mails and proof illustrating that the client they are representing are falsifying amounts outstanding. There is no way to rationalize with them, only interested in collecting. I have now started a formal complaint with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, about to engage my own lawyer to seek damages, and will continue to fight this as their incorrect claim has significantly impacted my impeccable credit score.

Very easy to work with.
I changed it to a 2 star as after talking to them, my 'client' finally paid me. Kingston didn't actually do anything, but still charged me the full amount. Wasn't impressed with that.
I would have been okay with giving something for their time, which was about 30 mins. But they acted like it was them that got me the money.

Kingston DC advised that I had an outstanding debt. Refused to listen when I advised I didn't and asked for proof of payment. I submitted proof my account was fully paid. No response. Submitted further proof my account was paid. No response. They continued to threaten me that it would be submitted on my credit report if it remained unpaid. I sent proof again. No response. These people are useless.
Addendum: Bahahaha! If only the staff would be as responsive and quick to communicate as the person responding to negative reviews - probably a marketing person? Tip for you: Teach the staff to be responsive and communicative.

Update: So after voicing my frustrations and sending a detailed email of all the problems I was having thanks to Anytime Fitness trying to collect a fraudulent debt I received a call in unfer 24hrs and a wonderful lady helped sort out the issue in a matter of minutes. I don't know why it took me 8 months to finally get in touch with someone so helpful, but I finally did.

I can't thank her enough for finally getting this weight off my back, and the lesson I have learned from this is don't waste your money on a gym membership you are better off biting the bullet and investing in equipment for your home.

I have already seen the item be removed from my credit report as promised. This is great to see that not only did Meaghan follow through, she did so quickly and effectively.

An old issue from years prior popped up after five and a half years on my credit which I had totally forgotten about. Meaghan was able to help me with the process of getting it corrected. She was very courteous and professional and listened to what I had to say. She made the process very easy for me.
I was able to take care of the debt in full with the promise that the issue will be purged from my credit. I will update my review if/when that promise is reflected in my credit report.

Despite circumstances that were not my fault, I was forced to deal with Kingston. They were pleasant and understanding to the scenario. My point of contact within Kingston was with Chantal. She was very empathetic and tried to assist in resolving the problem residing on the client end.

Absolutely outstanding service! I called worrying that there was nothing I could do because I had no idea about a debt for the gym membership I canceled. I wasn’t able to get in contact with the gym because it has since closed but I called and spoke with Kim Hastings and she was absolutely amazing! She told me she would see what she could do and give me a call back, and within 30 minutes called me back to let me know that she had taken care of my situation and it would be deleted from my credit. This has helped me so much and I am so grateful to her! Not only was she kind but she was very fast! Thank you so much Kim for your help!

I have dealt with Pat Addis from KD&C a couple of times now for outstanding charges from an old gym membership that I wholeheartedly did not agree to- gyms can be funny that way - however while no one ever wants to be sent to collections, Pat is wonderful to deal with - she is friendly and shows no judgement - she is reasonable and does a great job representing her client while empathizing with you as the consumer as well. Thank you Pat!

It is never fun dealing with creditors, I have found them to be very demeaning in the past however dealing with Jenn Robb at Kingston Data and Credit was a great experience. She was not at all pushy, she took the time to understand my situation and was able to work with me. Id reccomend dealing with her if you need to handle things.

For years I have been trying to get the attention of someone to help me with this issue with Enercare. I called, emailed Enercare but nobody would listen or help me with my issue, they just wanted my money. As soon as Amy got involved she directed me to the proper individual that ultimately gave me the help that I required. Amy was patient and informative and actually listened to my situation. She didn't assume I was guilty of avoiding payment she understood that there was a contract issue. She gave me the tools to help me and waited patiently until it was rectified. There should be more like Amy that work for collections companies because not everyone is trying to avoid paying, sometimes the company is at fault as was the case in my circumstance.

When you get a phone call from a Company like this, its not always good news.

After my service was cancelled due to Technician negligence and costing me $12k in HVAC replacements, my service contract was cancelled and approved by Enercare. One year later Enercare called me and demanded payment. This then to the bureaucracy of people not talking to each other in Enercare. After endless conversations with Enercare and running around in circles, Enercare referred to Kingston Data and Credit for bad debt and credit action.

Upon having conversations with Amy the Customer Service Manager, she understood that this action was unjust and decided to step in. After presenting her with paperwork, she advocated my case to Enercare who then withdrew their claim against me!

I can't thank both Kim and Amy enough for their understanding and compassion after I was unjustly bering persecuted by Enercare.

Its nice to see that once in a while, even the little guy gets a fair shake when going against the "establishment"

Cheryl Fraser = very rude and disrespectful. I owed large amount of money from 2 years ago and she didn't follow up with me, no letters, no emails informing me that I owe money. Interest just kept rising for 2 years. I came to find out that I owe that sum of money from another institution.
This company didnt contact me for 2 years about me owing money and interest just kept rising.
If this company really had ethics then there would be attempts to contact me on my email or letters would be sent to my house that I owe a specific sum of money, no attempts to contact me were made entire 2019 (no email, letter or call) and interest kept rising. Very unethical conduct from this company, from Cheryl Fraser to be specific.

Tracey Turner was an amazing agent! She understands my situation she cares about her clients. She goes extra steps for people. She is not just put the record on my credit report without even calling me. Instead (1) she called me multiple times for courtesy (2) she listens to my story and my difficulties (3) she helped me to contact her client to get a way lower settlement for me! She is amazing!
