This is a wonderful little branch tucked away on a relatively quiet side street. The hours are good and there is access to after-hours book pick-up. My limited dealings with the librarians were all very positive.

The space is quiet and the book selection is surprisingly varied for such a small branch. I would be comfortable sitting down and reading a few pages in the seating areas. There is none of the noise I came to expect at the Isabel Turner branch (my prior home branch).

I visit this branch at least once per week and only once in the past five years has the parking lot been full. There is street parking if needed.

My only minor gripe is that sometimes my reserve will be pulled before the five day hold period or my reserve will be accidentally filed in the stacks. These occasions are rare and the aforesaid librarians have always been very keen to lend a helping hand.

Nice, peaceful, accessible. Still covid 19 after effects. People uncomfortable around more eclectic, or unique clients. Fear still pervades. But staff pleasant, helpful. Hopefully this judgemental suspicious nature of more street, artistic or unique types will pass. It's as if anyone who is not homogeneous is viewed as 'rabid', or Covid 19 Mary. (Reference to Typhoid Mary.) Sadly fear of the more unique has invaded our public institutions, that were built on tolerance, care, and acceptance of all.
