We have just had two sets of French doors replaced with patio doors this week.
The whole process from first ordering to the installation was very professional and seamless.
Over two days in particularly cold weather, the installers were very efficient, thoughtful and respectful of our property. We couldn’t be happier with the work done and would recommend them.

Chris was so knowledgeable and helpful to make sure we got the right windows and front door. He made sure we understood the features and qualities of them so that they best suited our needs and that they looked amazing in our home too! Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience and how much they improved our home.

I can't get anyone to return my calls for a quote! And their phone won't connect - every time I call!

On 22 June, 2022 we had a new front door with single side light and screen door installed by Aaron and his fellow installer.
These two fellows were very professional in how they completed this installation. During the install, Aaron pointed out some of the design features of the new door and threshold. As well, the interior trim work and exterior caulking application were done with extreme care. This is a high traffic, high visibility part of our home so we appreciated the attention to detail.
Prior to leaving, all construction debris was cleaned up and the new doors and glass panels given a cleaning.
Adjustments of the threshold, should they be needed, were also explained.
We are very happy with the job done!

Employees are very professional and knowledgeable. The installers were very nice. We were happy with the overall outcome.

Where to begin.we ordered shutters for our home, on the day of the install something had to be moved, when the guy moved it the item fell and broke (this was an item that belonged to my mother that passed) i have in turn glued it together but the crystal figurine will never be the same.and then when they did the other set of shutters the installers tell us they were ordered/made wrong and will not fit.we ask for an ETA (at this point having already waited 6+ weeks) and they tells it will be rushed and not that long.in the 'RUSHED"world of real time of 4 weeks later we had never heard from any one.when we did follow up the next day we were scheduled in for the install.i feel as a customer it was bad service.if I supplied the measurements nothing to complain about, If i had dome my own install.where do i point? I got a good price YES, better than 1 other store i shopped but i payed for it with everything else.

They have worked with us to figure out our issues.

Update Jan.still waiting the process has been going on since Sept 8th.

Update Feb.still waiting.each time the team shows up there is something wrong, then there is a wait and everyone says it is someone elses fault.first i was offered a discount for the shutters i did not want but they wanted to wash their hands of it.then when the same shutter was ordered wrong again, i was offered a free shutter to leave the wrong one there.this was far from been a simple and easy process.and conversations get lost.i am told there is no communication error.so i suppose my window keeps changing in size?

and then when it was all said and done, they approach me at my work, gave me a gift card to a gift card from 4 years ago and a location that is just as much of a inconvience as the process of this ordeal

And also threaten me with lawsuits if i dont settle, i explained that they are not working properly and there are some minor adjustments that could be done and they did not want to do them.

Installed in one visit.
Everything fits and works.

A number of the reviews here report brutal customer service. I couldn't agree more.
10 years in, the plastic windows that were windows late and mismatched to start with are well past needing replacement.
The issues I had at the beginning with the windows were just dismissed by the sales team.
Do not buy from these people

Always helpful service! Review edited after a less than favourable experience with a shutter order from MaxxMar. Ordered product in early December, first installation attempt was in late January (only 4 of 11 shutters fit and I had to fix the install on two of four that were installed). Second failed attempt of 7 remaining shutters on February 18 after having sent those 7 shutters back to MaxxMar for rework/rebuild after re-measuring. Part of the issue is with MaxxMar non-standard quality (one of the 3 wood shutters was twisted). These rest of the issues are either manufacturer related (program for calculating margins issue?), or could be communication issue between KWD and MaxxMar. I have looked carefully at the construction quality of both MaxxMar wood and vinyl shutters for this order. There is definite lack of care in construction which leads me to believe the issue resides with MaxxMar. These shutters aren't high quality. My recommendation would be to have an accurate measuring tool used with a worksheet from MaxxMar to provide better detail to avoid issues. No window jamb is perfectly rectangular (plumb and straight sides and flat and level top and bottom jambs) therefore it is clearly important that accurate measurement and good communication of window jamb variances is critical to a good outcome which is not the case with our order.

Edit, window cranks are a fraction of the price at the big box stores. Pat at the front desk is a wealth of knowledge!
