Beware everyone!

This "Dentist" is a loose cannon and psychologically unfit to be doing dental work on patients. Do not be fooled by appearances. Extremely rude, aggressive and mentally unstable. She displays threatening behavior that sends people looking for cover when things don't go her way.

Venus, the owner of the clinic is the most skillful dentist I have ever met! Some procedures were described difficult from other dentists, Venus could do it in seconds with perfection.

I’ve visited the office twice so far and each time I had such a pleasant experience. Dr. Ehsan Baghani was very friendly and took his time with my fillings to ensure I was comfortable. He was so knowledgeable and made sure to keep me informed throughout the process.

It was my first time attending Kingwest Dental Clinic. The reception staff were very welcoming and my hygienist made me feel super comfortable and was very gentle. My consultation with Dr. Sobhi was an amazing experience. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and very kind. Dr. Sobhi answered all of my questions and ensured I fully understood the consultation. I definitely recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Sobhi.

I have been going to King West dental for 6 years and continued going even after I moved further away. The dentists and staff are attentive and knowledgeable. I have had various treatments there, never had any issues.

I’ve been a client now of Kingwest Dental for 1-2 years or so. I wouldn’t say I am one of those people who have anxiety with dental appointments and procedures. Regardless, it certainly helps when you receive your treatment from people who treat you with care and make you feel welcome and that you’re in good hands when you do get them. I can say that this place does stand out in my experience in that regard.

I started out at KingWest Dental because I happened to live quite close to their intersection. Even after moving since I started there, farther than I was before, I’m happy to continue attending their clinic because of their people. Thank you to the staff here that make their clients feel comfortable and feeling better with their visits.

I have always had anxiety going to the dentist and have had awful experiences. This is the first dental office I’ve been to that I can honestly say I can’t wait to come back to. Everyone is so professional and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable and were very gentle. The procedure was painless. I had a filling redone and didn’t feel a thing. Seamless and amazing. If you care about your teeth, this is definitely not the place to do invisalign, or have Dr. Ori work on your mouth. Based on my experiences with her, she is unprofessional, incompetent, and malicious. I have been going to King West dental for some years now, and after getting use to Dr. Sobhi's arrogance, I continued going to the clinic due to nice enough staff, and Dr. Sobhi wasn't the worst dentist that I have met.

I spent thousands of dollars over the years at KWD. I paid for my procedures immediately and I never went on a payment plan. I was a good client. Dr. Sobhi did not value me when she insisted that I do an invisalign treatment that I did not need, want, and was totally against.

This treatment was going to be done by her sister Ori, who worked on my mouth once to replace a discoloured filling. When she completed the replacement filling, it looked noticeably worse than the one she replaced. I was now forced to have her do invisalign on my bottom teeth to straighten two teeth at the side of my mouth that was a little twisted.

I reluctantly succumbed to Dr. Sobhi’s demand to do the unnecessary and expensive Invisalign treatment. Dr. Ori started the treatment by filing down my good teeth, making my teeth thin especially at the root. She said that I have too much teeth in my mouth, even though I have two missing teeth on both sides of my mouth.

My teeth started to disappear in front of my eyes. I politely conveyed my concerns of not liking the looks of the treatment pushing my bottom teeth up under the top teeth. Dr. Ori was visibly not pleased with my concern, but she promised to revise the treatment.

She kept the Invisalign trays that I returned, and she left the large attachments attached to my teeth causing a lot of pain and discomfort to my gum for six weeks, while she supposedly revised the treatment. When the treatment resumed, I realized that Dr. Ori did not revise the treatment plan.

The treatment was a very painful process. To make a long story short, one of my tooth was fractured in the process, and another became loose. The fractured tooth was fine before the Invisalign treatment began and I was forced to pay more money to have that tooth extracted (even though it was their Invisalign treatment that caused it). When I complained about the extensive pain, I was yelled at by Dr. Sobhi as if experiencing pain was the normal process with Invisalign treatment, and that I am not to remove my tray.

I also had an experience of Dr. Ori walking away in the middle of our conversation when I was conveying my concerns regarding the results. I waited in the office for her return, and was told that she was not going to come back. I was promised by the office manager that she would follow up with me the next day. When I didn’t hear from anyone, I called and was told by the office staff that they would talk to Dr. Ori and that they would get back to me, but they never did.

KWD has NEVER gotten back to me when they promised they would, regarding matters of concern. This includes, the office reception, Dr. Sobhi, and the office manager. For instance, after not receiving a call back from reception, I booked an appointment directly to meet with Dr. Ori to find out what her intentions were with my treatment. About an hour before my appointment, I got a call that Dr. Ori was ill and couldn’t see me. They were also aware in advance that I was traveling out of the country soon and I wanted to remove the attachment from my teeth, if she was not going to complete the treatment. However, they left me in a limbo, and Dr. Ori was paid for a treatment she was not going to proceed with!

Dr. Sobhi and Dr. Ori turned out to be a major disappointment. Dr. Ori is malicious, unprofessional, incompetent and disrespectful. King West Dental is all about the money. Each one covers the others wrong doing. Based on my experiences, I definitely will not recommend King West Dental because they have no regard or respect for their long term loyal clients.

Very caring and friendly staff. All the doctors that are working in there are very professional and do a great job with a variety of services. My whole family goes to this clinic and we have done cleaning, fillings, and implant. Amazing clinic and highly recommended.

The best dental clinic i have been, receptionists are very kind and helpful, hygienist Ashley is super skilled, caring and very nice and dr Sobhi is good.

A highly recommend. I am a VERY nervous patient. I made it to my appointment but was on verge of turning around and going home simply due to nervousness. Dr. Sobhi, the hygenist and other attending were amazing at putting me at ease. They spent almost 45 minutes talking me through things, offering options, answering all questions (sometimes 2 - 3 times!) and even offered to go to the pharmacy to collect my Rx (which I declined, but still, the offer was made). They did such a good job that I went from almost leaving, to having the procedure done. It was completely painless and only took 10 minutes. No one made me feel silly at all (although I felt a bit silly in myself, they never made me feel that way). Absolutely no pain, or bruising or swelling afterwards. Thank you for your patience and empathy @KingWestDental.

Great hygienist and doctors. Would recommend Dr. Reem? Not sure of the spelling but she did a great job on my root canal. Hygienists are very kind, very informative and answer my questions, are very patient. 10/10 will go there for the foreseeable future.

Beware of hostile, subtle racism!

I was asked by my hygienist Katie when and where the last time my teeth were professionally cleaned, on learning that it was a year ago & in India, she responded to with a rather rude and racist remark that Indians don't know how to clean teeth, she even narrated an episode of an Indian client walking in last evening with not such a clean set of teeth.

-She even said the dentistry in India is sub par which was an extremely uncalled for remark. Interestingly, after examining my teeth, she said she was surprised that I had it cleaned in India and it was still looking okay.
All of this is unwarranted and unprofessional,  not to forget - heavily misinformed!

-Moving on to the cleaning bit, Katie started cleaning my teeth and I happened to say an "ouch" a bit loudly as she was quite aggressive with her procedure. She said I "cannot yell" and did not bother checking if I was okay and continued her process. Her body language and attitude seemed condescending, she was physically hostile with her procedure, even potentially dangerous.
I wasn't expecting to be treated with such racial hostility and inconsideration from a hygienist at a clinic with such great reviews.

-Hygienist Katie's hostile behavior towards people with diverse backgrounds (or maybe just Indian?) will definitely keep me away from returning to such a place. If you're ever walking into this clinic and you're Indian, you know who to watch out for.

I really dislike going to the dentist. But Kingwest makes it very comfortable! I’ve recommended to a few friends who’ve also had bad anxiety with dentists. 10/10 would highly recommend Dr. Sobhi and her team are the best!

The clinic is bright, very clean and beautiful. Looks like you're entering into a spa. The clinic is very sanitized which made me feel safe and confident. I went for cleaning and check up and the experience was amazing, the dentist and the hygienist were superb.

Truly the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. I used to be very reticent about the dentist office but now am completely comfortable thanks in large part to the efforts of everyone on staff to make a comfortable environment and make a trip to the dentist office as pleasurable as possible. HIGHLY recommend.

Had the best dentist experience since I was a kid. No pain, great hospitality. Everything was explained and staff was very knowlegble and accommodating.

The front desk staff are always welcoming, and anytime I've had to call to re-schedule they've been accommodating and understanding.

The hygienists always do a great job and are considerate of my request to be gentle - I have sensitive gums and teeth, and can be a bit of a wimp.

I've seen Dr. Venus and Dr. Ori many times and they're both amazing! On top of regular cleanings I've had cavities filled, chips fixed, and teeth whitening - and everything has been successful and first class. Every appointment they've been informative, professional, and funny, too.

Highly recommend the Sobhi Dentist Sisters and this amazing clinic!

Great dental office. Friendly and professional atmosphere, awesome front desk staff and hygienists. Dr Fang did a great job on my fillings, he was very thorough and reassuring, plus it was super quick and painless. Very happy with the entire process:)

This is the best dental establishment in Toronto and definitely lives up to its reputation. A very clean and respectable atmosphere with highly skilled staff that make you feel very comfortable. Highly recommend.

So happy we chose this place for our daughter's first visit! She was not the best of clients, but they were very kind and patient with her nonetheless and gave us some good tips on how to maintain her teeth. The place is clean and aesthetically pleasing too. Just a great experience.

Overall I had a really great experience! The staff was very friendly and the dentist were professional/kind.

I went in to do a wisdom teeth removal (all 4). I was put on the gas and throughout the procedure, the dentist made me feel at ease as I was feeling nervous. The procedure went by very quickly and didn't feel any pain (only pressure from the extraction)! They gave me instructions on aftercare which I'm following and so far it's a positive removal experience.

Best of all, the dentist was very kind in giving me a discount as I have limited insurance. I thought this was very sweet of them and def a reason for coming back (in addition to their friendly/professional staff)!

The receptionists were lovely, and Harley was our dental hygienist. She was really amazing with my nervous 7 year old!

Absolutely love king west dental! Dr. Sobhi is amazing, very welcoming, personable made sure my teeth were absolutely perfect for my wedding! Got some cosmetic bonding done and Dr Sobhi is a perfectionist, it looks great. I no longer live close by but make the drive because of how wonderful the whole team is, every hygienist has also done a great job and been exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sobhi and her team at the studio. They follow a very precise process and ensured I would be happy with the work I had done, and they were right. I love how my teeth turned out. The service is so exceptional, and I have recommended King West Dental Studio to many friends and even family in Calgary.

Ive been coming to this dentist for since 2015. I am in the middle of an Invisalign procedure and there are a few inconveniences I can no longer ignore. The dentist availability is tight and they have an odd 3 day confirmation policy. As a client, I shouldn't have to shift my schedule around to accommodate for her, it should be the other way around. I am traveling from another city during work hours (1-1.5 hours, with no guarantee Ill have parking) for a 15 minute appointment every 10 days. The least they could do is honour the appointment. This was expressed in the past that my schedule is tight and I cannot give notice that far out. What was supposed to be my last tray, is now extended for another 5+ weeks.

I would highly advise anyone to reconsider Invisalign, it is not worth it. Dentist were great, but the experience went south. Maybe others will have a better experience but unfortunately, mine is sub par.

Fast and excellent service. Everybody is very kind from the receptionist to the hygienist and the doctor. Staff is experienced. All explanations are provided. Place is very clean. The whole dental checkup and any procedures process is made easy.

King dental that I go for my cleaning & filings for my teeth. I found this dental clinic recommended by my co worker that almost more than 10 yrs. I havenot been. Dr. Sobi & Dr. Ori really care for their patients & I was blessed having an awesome dentist.they really taking good care of their patients.thank you for making my new front denture and to the 2 hygienist who cleaned my teeth and they have a light hands and I feel comfortable. When my tooth filings fell off the receptionist squeeze me in to fix the filings right away on that day by Dr. Ori. I've been switched to Dr Sobhi dental office since 4 years ago. I already have done couple of surgeries and implants and a few minor treatments. I'm extremely satisfied with the overall experience and never had any issue with services and treatments I received. Special thanks to Venus, Rojia and the rest of the team.

As always the staff is amazing and friendly. Everytime I attend an appointment I am always taken care of. The service is amazing I never have to wait long. I've been going to this dentist office for years and absolutely love how in treated. Definitely recommend this dentist office.

I got my dental check up, cleaning and filling done at King West Dental Studio. I am very happy with their services and will definitely visit them again.

My entire experience of getting my wisdom teeth pulled was nowhere as scary or painful as I had expected. In fact, it was a very quick procedure (only about 30 minutes for 3 extractions) and completely pain-free. It has only been a day and I'm no longer needing pain meds with minimal swelling. Dr. Venus Sobhi has a charm that puts a smile on your face, has a great sense of humour and is remarkably talented at her work. All the staff including the dental assistant and admin people were top notch also. Would recommend her, and Kingwest dental to anyone who's been avoiding the harsh reality of needing their wisdom teeth out! Do not fear, do it here.

Dental hygienist Yantella was awesome. Joanna and Jemilla were also very helpful, communicative and efficient. I believe this cleaning was thorough, painless and now my teeth feel like brand new again! Price is good too!

Been going to them for about ten years now. Like most other people, I do not like dentist visits, but this is about as good as it gets. What impressed me most was, once when a tooth was acting up, Dr. Sobhi thought it would clear up on its own and that she should wait a bit before treating it. She was right and it worked out fine.

Dr. Sobhi and her team are great. On every occasion I am greeted with a smile, and everyone at the office is very efficient with timing. I never have to wait long if at all for my appt to start.
As well as the great service, Dr. Sobhi does top notch dentistry, both regular and cosmetic. A one stop shop for me. I always know I can trust King West Dental with my pearly whites, one less thing I need to worry about!

I call the smiling, intelligent and knowledgeable woman at Kingwest Dental the best in the biz, being a male there's something about this beautiful space with a hive of doctor's of dentistry buzzing around looking after you along with their assistance in such an efficient manner that I've never experienced before and thank them for that. I live in Scarborough, so making the trek to King/Bathurst I always look forward too and they even look after the paperwork if you happen to belong to a 3rd party insurer like I have from work. I know other film people that go there and feel the same way, so to the Dental Vixens you not only do great work but your very friendly humans and that's a hard combination to find.

Dr. Sobhi has been my dentist for years now, ever since my dentist of 20 years retired. I found her through a student directory initially. The practice was fairly new when I first visited and it's great to see how it's grown since then. I have always had a good experience, both as a student with limited budget and then with private insurance. The practice has been really accommodating to my changes in budget and insurance over time, ensuring there are no financial surprises. I also really appreciate that Dr. Sobhi, despite being busy, doesn't make me feel rushed when she comes in for a consult, and the hygienists and front desk staff are always friendly, patient, and thorough.
My experience has been with wisdom tooth removals (shockingly quick, with only local freezing), fillings, and cleanings - so I personally haven't had anything super complicated.
However I have also referred a couple close friends and it was nice to hear that they have had a good experience too. One of them had more complex work and their teeth look awesome.

I had hygienist Yontela clean my teeth, she's super nice and very professional, and I had Dr Sobhi check up my tooth, she gave me a lot of professional advice of how to take care of my tooth, and they followed up with me couple days later to see if my gum was healing OK. I would highly recommend their practices!

The office gives out an overall sense of hospitality and professionalism from all staff, it's a nice feeling to not mind going to the dentist.

Since they opened their new office at 725 King St W, they do not seem to have got the hang of the privacy glass. I have seen patients in the middle of procedures nearly every time I walk past. Huge invasion of privacy. I'm not a patient, but I certainly wouldn't want to be one now!

I was hesitant to visit the dentist during Covid, however KingWest Dental made me feel safe with all of the precautions they have in place. Service is always enjoyable and professional. I definitely recommend KingWest Dental for all of your dental needs

I've only had 3 dentists over the course of my life and I am a bit nervous in the Chair. It's a great experience from the moment you book an appointment to being received by reception and the care and advanced technology used during the appointment. I am so pleased to have chosen Dr Sobhi and her team and highly recommend them to others without hesitation.

Both visits I've had at Kingwest Dental went really well. The staff is so kind and that makes a big difference. They are also taking serious measures to protect against COVID.

Outstanding service by literally everyone in the office. Everyone is pleasantly polite and explains the procedures that are being or are to be done for the patient. This is everyone from the front office associates to the hygienists and Dr. Sobhi who is extremely skilled and makes a dental treatment an absolutely pleasant experience which I never experienced before visiting the King West Dental. Also, all Covid-19 protocols and precautions are followed by everyone to the fullest extent.
