Kino’s Sushi and asian cuisines

We just picked up a late dinner. We got the 30 piece platter and steam buns. It was SO GOOD! It was a great deal too. Also, the owner seems like a very nice guy who opened his own small business! Highly recommend it.

This was the second time ordering sushi from kinos but the first time I’ve dropped in. The service is 5+ stars. Very chatty and the owner was even speaking with a couple young lads who came in on their lunch break from school and spoke to them using their name. It was very impressive. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food and for what you get the price is right. One of the best sushi restaurants in Kingston.

This place was highly recommended by a coworker. Ordered the signature platter. 52 prices for 49.99. An amazing deal. Great variety and so fresh. Customer service was also top notch. Will definitely be a regular choice from now on!

Wow just discovered.
Picked up the Shanghai roll and the bbq STeamed bun. Bun was very filling and very good and the rolls wow fresh and one of the best spring roll type I have ever had

Sushi is 10/10 owner is amazingly friendly. Their signature platter is the perfect sushi tray to pick up and share with someone.

Sumeshi was too sticky and tart, the tempuras inside were not even hand made and the overall skills in making the dishes were clearly lacking. If you're only into big portions over quality, I guess they would suffice though.

The sushi was good, as I expected, but what I really want to compliment was the lovely man behind the counter (perhaps the owner?) As I was picking up my food, I told him I would be sitting in my vehicle for a while, as I was waiting for someone to come fix my flat tire. As I waited for hours for CAA to come, he came out and checked on me several times, offered his own CAA if I needed it, and even brought me some water. So kind, it was truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for great sushi and wonderful service.

I used to get sushi’s from Nelson before his restaurant it was always delicious and loved it. I can’t wait to try and order from kino’s sushi sometime soon.

I used to go to sakura, and then realized that their prices were so high. So my girlfriend and I decided to try a new place. Kino's! Service is great! Prices are absolutely amazing! And they have different and new sushi! Including on that is made with crunchy peanut butter. I was skeptical, but i'm glad we tried it. We both love the combination. Go check it out, its great! And definitely try their peanut crunchy rolls if you like peanut butter.

We got the Kino's Signature Platter (30 pcs) for $26.99, which is an awesome deal for what you get. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted amazing. The store was clean and tidy which really reflects the quality of the food. I especially loved the peanut butter roll, the tempura gave it a great texture with a depth of flavor. The owner, Nelson, was super friendly - will definitely visit again!

This place only sells maki rolls, and they don’t actually have fish. So not a sushi place.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to this time because this place is AMAZING. I’ve never had sushi this good. Definitely the best in Kingston. It’s so fresh and the rice is so fluffy. I actually feel clean and good after I eat it.

Excellent spot! I ordered the spicy salmon, dynamite, and green dragon. The sushi was very fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced! They also have bbq pork buns- a big bonus!

Really enjoyed Kino's. Rolls are really fresh and the flavours were excellent. The peanut crunch roll and smoked salmon and cream were especially tasty. Excellent value. Will be back. And here's a menu from May 2022.

Absolutely delicious! So happy we stumbled on this place while in Kingston. Our sushi was made super fresh, ready on time and with friendly service. You can’t beat the price for the quantity either. 100% recommend!

First time trying this place and its the best sushi we’ve tried in Kingston and the reasonable prices make it our go to sushi restaurant! The chicken teriyaki was my favourite of the rolls we tried, the cream cheese and salmon a close second. The servings are generous and the ingredients very fresh. We rarely get warm rice maki in Kingston! The owner was a very nice guy and I hope you all help support this place!

I’ve been to a lot of sushi places in Kingston but I got to say Kino’s is by far the best I’ve tried. The owner is also very friendly and has great customer service. 10/10

One of the girls at work suggested we all get sushi for lunch one day at Kino's.
Since I am pregnant, I messaged him on Facebook to see if I could change my order, last second, to the vegetarian lunch box.
He made me a personalized, baby friendly, lunch box and was so beyond nice about everything.
Not to mention that everything in the lunch box was beyond amazing, I can't go back to other sushi's now, nothing compares.
He makes such unique and beautiful rolls, that are complex and delicious.

If you want the best sushi from a very kind, and lovely person, go to Kino's and you won't be dissapointed.

10/10 cannot wait to try all the rolls once baby is here!

Cheapest place in Kingston to get fresh good sushi. You cannot go wrong with this place. Owner is extremely nice and personable.
The customer service good be a little better with the other employees.
