KINTON RAMEN

I like their food but portions keep getting smaller even after they increased their prices. Half of what it used to be, even the soup and extra charges when ordering beef spicy garlic.

The Asian waitresses at this restaurant has a very Rude, Unfriendly behaviour, especially the Asian waitress girl having long black hair with blond streaks. She completely ignored my request for a glass of water and they don’t even come by to ask if we needed anything. Here the Asian waitresses have very Rude Attitude!

Not friendly to people who are gluten free or want substitutions. My wife is GF and wanted veggies instead of noodles. They were very difficult when it came to service. Noodles are $ 1.90. Even though soup had no noodles they charge extra for every veggies. We also got extra meat in our soup and the meat pieces are so small compared to a few years ago. When we got the soup the bowl is half full. So little broth. To top everything off my wife's soup had very little garlic even though we got spicy garlic pork both.

Very expensive as well. $ 62 for 2 soups? For lunch? Lol like come on.

My boyfriend absolutely loved the pork miso. Accompanied with a sapporo beer, it was pure perfection. 10/10 recommended. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been going here for the past 3 years and yesterday night was the worst time I’ve ever had here at this place. I went here with my friend and wanted to eat a little bit of ramen after a long day at work. The male server made us feel rushed by constantly asking if we were finished (we weren’t as I was CLEARLY still eating) was not patient when we asked him about the cheesecake choices and FINALLY when he was giving us the bill, he automatically included the tip without letting us know. Only when we inquired as to WHY the price was increased on the final total he kept pressuring us to tip for his services. We as the customer would like to have a choice of the AMOUNT we would like to tip based on the service we receive. Please make sure your servers are aware that good tips come from GOOD service and please do NOT rush your customers from leaving. We felt in welcomed and at the end he did not even say thank you. The food was delicious but the servers can be questioning at times.

Our go-to ramen place in the west end. Always consistently good with quality ingredients. If you can avoid using one of the food ordering app, I recommend ordering straight from their website as the prices are significantly lower. This is also one of the few places I've signed up for marketing emails because there are constantly good promotions to take advantage of.

This is our go-to ramen place as we’ve been here a few times before. It seems like they’ve reduced the beef portion compared to other times we’ve been here. The only thing this time is that soup didn’t come out as hot as it is normally. Soup feels really good on a cold winter day. We tried the Takoyaki which is deep fried octopus balls, and I thought it was ok, I wasn’t super impressed.

We had seen this passing Bloor Street West a few times and finally decided to stop in and try some of the delicious ramen. We came at around 1: 00 in the afternoon and it was a good time because it was not busy at all. We were able to seed ourselves and reserved within 5 minutes of arriving.

The restaurant is well maintained. Very clean and the atmosphere is great. The staff is efficient and polite and I enjoyed the music in the background eating my food. We really wanted to try the big spicy garlic ramen with beef and it turned out to be absolutely incredible. The richness of the broth, the flavor of the beef and the noodles were a perfect combo.

The prices are fair. Also for the portions. We will be coming back again to try other plates and home. More people come into do the same.

First time trying out a Ramen and I absolutely loved it. We ordered a Pork Shoyo and original beef. Both were really tasty but I liked the beef one more.

I ordered pork shoyu with thick noodles and egg. Great broth, noodles, and chashu. I wish the seasoned egg was a bit runnier.

Beautiful space, the wood wall is amazing! Food is very good. Today I ordered the pork shoyu ramen. It was good, but the veggie shoyu I had another day was waaaay better! I also recommend their veggie gyoza.

My friend and I were so disappointed with the kind of service they rendered. If there is lower than 1 rate I can give, I'll give them.

Food wise, it is so salty.
Will never eat there again.

The food here is incredible. Takoyaki here is unbelievable. Full of octopus chunks. Im a big fan of the entire menu.

Just came to try their ramen for the first time and it was so good! I tried some gyoza and it was also delicious. Thanks guys! Def going to come again when i’m craving ramen.

Kinton has the best spicy garlic vegetarian ramen. The tofu is sticky and sweet and pairs so perfectly with the spicy broth.
Ramen is the perfect meal on a cold day. The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and lively which brings a lot of joy in the cooler months.

Placed an order on Uber Eats. 2 minutes before the delivery was expected (35 min after order was placed) I get a call from the uber driver saying they dont have the order even though in the app it says they're wrapping it up. He's just as confused as me, and asks me to speak to the restaurant. The lady in the background is telling him she doesnt want to speak to me (I could hear you). He finally convinces her and she takes the phone. Tells me they ran out of beef ramen and that she called me to tell me (zero missed calls). Asks me if i'd like something else instead, and then proceeds to hang up on me as I'm replying. Order is cancelled. Thanks for the excellent customer service. Never again.

Almost 20 dollars incl.hst for 1 ramen and got 2 pcs of pork only, with 1 pc is fully fat as photos shows. BTW, it is not only fat, but from very bad position and unchewable at all. Don't want to say it is disgusting but it almost cause me to puke.

Other than this, taste is not bad, almost have this ramen every month before.

First time at Kinton Ramen and an amazing experience all around. The service (Amy) was exceptional. She was very well informed & very patient as we were first time visitors & had many questions-especially from my wife and my kids! Her service was probably one of the best I’ve ever had as a foodie! Pricing was reasonable too & the restaurant itself had great ambience, sharp look & very clean. First class all around. & I don’t rate highly unless I truly believe in doing so. Definitely come back here!

Best restaurant in Bloor West Village. Ramen is good although I found the broth always a bit too salty. Other than that, the customer service is great, place is nice and quite big for the area.

Vegan options are over priced for what you get. Won’t be buying restaurant ramen in the future. Staff is pleasant.

Amazing food I chose the brothless SPICY AMAZE MAZEMEN wz Beer as a special deal. The service was good Our order did take a while though cause it was almost a full house we sat at the prep.bar. The staff were good. A pleasant evening.

Kinton has always been pretty good but this time it hit the spot. Ordered their seasonal "Immune Booster" Ramen and it was scrumptious. It's the perfect combination of flavours. The way the ginger infused chicken broth combines with the garlic, chili and cilantro Magnifico

During the pandemic I was ordering from Kinton weekly, I still get my weekly dose. You always know what you’re getting high quality with quick service, also thanks to Uber Eats.

AMAZING RAMEN! I don’t even like ramen that much and LOVED Kinton! Their menu selection is small but the flavour is BIG! It tasted so yummy yummy and I had the takoyaki and karaage as sides which were both delicious. The atmosphere is both family friendly and date friendly. Would definitely recommend getting your ramen at Kinton to get your ram-ON!

Pre ordered take out 90 minutes in advance, arrive on time for pick up, they had not started the order, 15 minutes wait.
Did not earn the tip we pre paid.

Poor customer service from a rude server whose name is Chae. The food was good but unfortunately the customer service needs work.

I have to say it going be my new spot now for RAMEN! Everything from ordering online and pick up was extremely easy. It was the first time my husband trying Ramen and he love it! Some much flavor! The portion was the right amount of food. I'll definitely order from this place again!

Love this location, the servers are very personable and out all the Kintons in Toronto, this one makes the best Chicken Miso

I just love Kinton Ramen. When the urge for ramen hits you, this is the place to go. Exceptional, friendly customer service. Never disappoints.

Great taste as always from the Kinton ramen chain. Staff were very polite and on top of things, asking for proof of vaccination right away. Didn't mind that I asked for a table by the window to be further away from other seated customers. Service was smooth and we were treated very well on a cold winter day.

We've been here twice already and the staff were always efficient. Of course, the ramen as well was great.

Amazing broth and flavours. I got the veg ramen and veg garlic spice and they were both outstanding. Major complaint: 1 THIN piece of tofu, 10 pieces of corn and 5 pieces of mushrooms and the rest was just noodles. I was very upset at the lack of veggies. For $14, I would expect a lot more pieces of tofu.

Busy spot but still able to get a reservation! Ramen was average - not very flavorful and they are not generous with the fillings. Seem to focus on volume vs.quality. When treating myself to ramen, I would find elsewhere to go in future.

Simply delicious, and surprisingly quick to serve. Can't wait to go back. Had the spicy pork ramen with garlic oil (?) as spicy karaage and takoyoshi for apps. Delicious.

I ordered Miso Chicken Ramen Soup with bean sprouts, onion, garlic, seaweed, etc.at Kinton Ramen. It is so delicious! After eating, I was so full. You better try Mango Cheesecake. It is very good dessert. The prices are reasonable but little expensive. Good quality of service. The restrooms are very spotless clean. That is plus A.

Pre-pandemic I used to frequent the Kinton downtown on Baldwin. It started (inception) off excellent but after a few years they simplified their menu and ordering. As a result the ramen has become very boring and not very flavourful. I've only been to this Bloor St.location several times since the pandemic started and I've always been disappointed. The broths lack umami, and depth of flavour. The pork shoulder and pork butt is never charred enough so it ends up being very plain. The soft boiled eggs are usually cooked a bit too much as well. Overall most of the ramens lack the inclusion of ingredients compared to Kinton's competition. The appetizers are tasty and the service is good and price is average. There is much better ramen within 15 minutes of this location.
