KINTON RAMEN

The beef shoyu had such an amazing flavour and the pork gyoza were also really tasty. Our food came so fast! Overall a great experience.

This kinton ramen is the best I have been coming here for the las 3 years and I never get tired of garlic spicy pork it test delicious can’t stop eating it

Love this place, good was so delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. I came here with my husband, 8 and 5 years old and my kids loved the food too, they said it was delicious and one of the best ramens we tried, the gentleman that served us was so nice with my kids as well and made sure that they liked the food. Definitely recommend this place.

Sad to say that ramen here was as good compared to other KINTON places. My friend and I ordered two main ramen but we got very different noodle consistencies - one was undercooked and rough to chew and the other was overcooked and very flimsy. The broth also was very confusing. I ordered the Pork Spicy Garlic and the photo clearly shows a slab of garlic on the ramen but there was no garlic to be found in the ramen. I’d suggest trying the Toronto Kinton instead!

We were a party of 4 and were seated promptly after arriving. Even on a very busy evening with dozens of takeout orders, our food was served in a timely manner. The quality of the food was outstanding. The broth of the ramen (shoyu) was very rich and noodles were soft but also firm to the bite. The vegetable gyozas are to die for with their golden crispy outer shell, while also maintaining a nice fluffy interior. The hot chicken karaage was exceptional with the spicy sauce blending nicely with the crispy chicken. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and will be coming back. In my opinion, this place should be rated much closer to 5 stars rather than the 4.0 overall rating that I see.

Waited 2 hours for a table and when there was a table free, they gave it to another party that waited less than an hour simply because they were a larger party. Forcing us to wait even longer.
We were told when we arrived that it would only be a 15-20 min wait too.
Needless to say, we left. This place is horribly managed. How is it fair to make customers that have waited so long, wait even longer!?
I have never been so disrespected at a restaurant.
Kinton will never get my money again.

Today I finally had a chance to read some of the negative reviews at this place and it seems many customers have had the same experience as I.
Should have read the reviews first.

Edit: customer service reached out and offered fair compensation. I will give this restaurant another try in the future.

I've been to a few Kintons in the GTA (Markham, Richmond Hill, Toronto) but this location is my favourite. Great & quick service! Atmosphere is nice too.
Highly recommend the apps as well - the gyoza, takoyaki and spicy karaage are 10/10

Great service, delicious food, follows and do covid procedures well. We got the four ramen meal set which is recommended by the server, great idea as it comes with the fried chicken, dumplings, squid balls, and drinks. Will for come back

$15 for alright ramen. It is really overpriced here and they only add one piece of pork. The side rice dishes are so small and don’t have much to them. You’re paying more for the ambiance of the restaurant than the taste of the food. You would be better off going to a different ramen restaurant for better and cheaper tasting ramen.

4/5 for the taste of the food.

2/5 for the service; our group called ahead and asked for a reservation.was told there was no need because they had seats.we proceed to arrive and be forced to wait 45 minutes out in the rain. One member of my group asked for a new cup of water 3 times before just giving up on asking for a new one, each cup they brought was either dirty or had something floating in the water. Our appetizers arrived much after receiving the ramen as well which didn't make sense. And finally, those sharp edged squares with no back support they provide to sit on is without question the worst seating I've ever experienced at a food establishment.

Tl;dr Kinton is not the best ramen out there

The Ramen was not that good. The egg was the only good part, but it has a bit of an unpleasant soy sauce after taste. The service was not the greatest, it was difficult to call over server, their attitude was great though!

The soup was plain, not too much depth. The pork was 90% fat, not noticeably marinated in any way. Noodles were okay, but they cannot compare to fresh pulled noodles. The oil was literally just veggie oil.no flavour from it.

Really good options for food. Great hosts and pleasant atmosphere. The food will fill you up for the price you pay. Wait time was not too bad either. Definitely a go-to spot for friends (small group) and takeout as well.

Food is good but the service is we take a waitlist and they said were no. 4 on line but it comes like they let sit 7 groups before us

if they said it early that were last on line we didnt waste time waiting outside it means they lied just to hold the customer waiting for them to serve so f$&) $ bad experience for us we move to other resto because of that

I think this is the best ramen place in the gta. This location does justice on ramen and how its supposed to be made. There has been controversy with their takeout but why would you get take out when you can eat it hot. I recommend trying the jalapeño chicken ramen.

Excellent service, great ramen and good appetizers. Only reason for 4 stars is because the pork gyoza was very cold when it arrived. (The restaurant was busy so I didn’t want to send them back).

The vegetable gyoza was piping hot and both were very tasty, just wish the pork ones had arrived as hot as the veggie.

My chicken karaage ramen was absolutely delicious, so many pieces of fried chicken I couldn’t eat the whole bowl, and my wife loved her pork tonkatsu.

Would love to come back.

Staff was friendly, service was alright. They didn't ask which noodle type we wanted, but it wasn't a big deal.
The quality of the food was sub-par.

The Chicken Kaarage had four small pieces in it.being $7.09, you would think the portion would be at least a couple more pieces for the price.

The Pork Spicy Garlic was so salty and had a massive tablespoon of minced garlic in it.it tasted like packaged Shin Ram-Yun Ramen.
The vegetable ramen had so much corn in it, that it was all we could taste: just corn water. It tasted like someone had emptied a can of corn and dropped the liquid inside.

We're giving two stars, since it may have just been an off day for Kinton. But we won't be returning any time soon. Quality was just low.

Staff prioritize take out orders and not sit down customers. Was not greeted upon arrival. Waited 20 minutes at the front door when there was a table right in front of us. Staff packed 15+ go to orders before cleaning the table. After we got seated, staff packed another 10+ orders before we got our food. Definitely poor service and not efficient. Do not come to this location.

The staff are friendly and the service and food hit the spot whenever I'm in the mood for ramen. They always have some good meal deals going on, and even without that, the food is always more than worth the reasonable price tag.

Hands down the best place to get Ramen and many other Japanese snacks in Mississauga. The quality of the food, staff, and restaurant are fantastic. The prices are super desirable, and the culture inside the restaurant if you can get inside/outside seating is phenomenal. If you want to get Ramen, or even just a beer and some Takoyaki, this is the place to go.

Their food taste so good. Staffs are very friendly, always with smile while serving, but theres a wait list. I guess because its covid so limited people are inly allowed inside the restau. But other than that its 5 star for me. And they are also sanitizing the table and chairs after every customer. Thank you for that.

I got the spicy pork ramen and it was actually spicy! It was soo good and flavourfull.it was a really good ramen experience. I warmed up the broth and noodles together in the microwave. So good and satisfying. I didnt have to add any extra spice!

Bad experience. We ordered a family dinner for eight, and we received six and a few other items missing. We called the restaurant, but there wasn't any interest in solving the situation. Unfortunately we had to eat because it was late and we had to share the dinner. Waiting for uber eats to refund the money, but terrible customer service. Never order again. I don't recommend!

I usually don't write reviews and give a business the benefit of doubt, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. My order was placed at 620 pm on their website and I Recieved a notification it would be ready by 653pm. I arrived at 650 pm for pickup and was advised it would be 5 minutes so I waited outside as you cannot physical distance in the store. I went back in at 710 and was told that my order was still not ready and was just now being prepared and it would be 10-15 mins. At this point I had been waiting for over 40 mins for my food and asked to cancel my order since it had not been started. Another gentleman outside had the same story but we saw others being served even though they were coming after us. I guess these were uber orders. When I asked for a refund I was told that it can only be processed by head office and would take 2 weeks. That doesn't make sense since order was not ready nor should a customer have to go through head office 2 weeks later to get a simple refund for not getting their item in a restaurant. At this point as I had no choice I waited outside another 20 mins and after seeing another 10 people get their order I Recieved mine. Still I felt I would give them a chance and not leave a review. However after coming home I found a piece of plastic (see photo) in my ramen essentially meaning all my time and money at this place was a total waste. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY FOR 3 STAR NOODLES.

I contacted Kinton and was refunded my full purchase. I did receive better customer service after and an apology for the poor service on that day. As such I have updated my review to a 3 star to reflect this.

Horrible wait time (my 5 pm order was ready at 6: 55) - horrible customer service (they dont pick up the phone and dont listen to you) - also horrible customers (people cutting the line and being rude and not at all social distancing)

This was a moth ago where I was love with their food And then I said One of the best ramen in town with 5 stars.
Now After a month I am giving one more review by lowering the stars to 1 star.
Just because they never pick up the phone, Ok I get it they are busy because of covid. No issue.
But what happened yesterday was I ordered over the phone and I was happy because I live close by so I don't have to drive their other location.
So I got the food came home and saw so many mess up in my order.
So I am not going back to this location.

I first phoned in to inquire about adding extra tofu for delivery (they don't have an extra tofu selection) she approved the substitution and told me how to select it plus leaving the note /instructions for the kitchen. Waste of time, didn't take note of either the verbal or written sub note. Who the hell pays $1.50 for 2 slices of jalapeño peppers. I paid for extra noodles and didn't receive that either.
I absolutely love Kinton's Ramen. I often visit the one on Baldwin, first time eating from Confederation's location.
They're quality consistency between locations are spot on

Their quality has definitely improved since they first started! My boyfriend and I ordered from here a few weeks ago, and we ran into an issue with our order. Their service was immaculate and solved our problem right away. Super friendly servers, and very quick take out service.

***Beware that if you order vegetarian they may give you meat***, which is an awful mistake for those who are vegetarians. Happened to us on two consecutive occasions for take-out. They gave us pork gyoza even though I had ordered vegetarian gyoza for a family member who is vegetarian. So twice in a row, he cannot eat what I ordered. Since both times were take out, we did not know about the error until we get home. It would seem the errors occurred with online orders being transcribed into their own system. See comparison between my phone confirmation and the order slip from them.
I repeatedly asked for NO plastic cutlery and they continued to put them in the bag.
Would have been 5 stars if there were no mistakes with the orders. Otherwise food does taste good.

Great ramen and sides! We ate here on the patio (it was one of the only ramen places we could find that has a patio. Dine-in closed due to covid) and loved it! The service was very good, our sides arrived shortly after ordering and everything was delicious. Takoyaki, gyoza, edamame, and karaage are all classics and a must try here! I ordered the Pork Shoyu with an egg - the broth was very tasty! Definitely recommend visiting!

I usually eat at kinton Ramen in North york and this place is in Mississauga and its disappointing so far. I ordered spicy ramen and paid $3.50 for chicken and I even asked the hostess if the chicken is there and she confirmed yes and when I get home so disappointing to see no hicken and this place doesn't even pick up the phone.

Good choices. Comfortable to sit in the resultant. Real Japanese ramen soup.

The only suggestion - should have more free toppings on ramen rather than paying for each item. I did not know that tamago (an egg) was on it by default and added one from the topping list. The menu should tell you exactly what is on it so that we don’t add something that we already have and waste money.

We were excited to get to dine-in at our favorite ramen place in Mississauga and came out super disappointed. We both ordered karage chicken ramen; one with original broth and one with spicy broth. Both broth tasted the same; watered down, flavorless, except the spicy one had a few pieces of jalapeno pepper floating in it. Not a hint of spiciness at all. We mentioned the problem with one of the staff, and the server admitted that they have a new manager who does not following everything by the book and choosing profit over quality. Well, Kinton Ramen, you might have saved a few bucks, but you are losing 2 customers forever.

Came here with a friend. Totally love Kinton Ramen as a franchise - it's probably the only Ramen joint I go to and order from. Prices are reasonable. Serving portions are filling as well. Customer service at this location needs consistency. Super welcoming vibe from one staff member that seated us. The person serving us took our order, served us our food and then completley forgot about us. No refills on drinks/ water. When we were done, we waited exactly 48 minutes for our bill - really? I approached her 4 times. The last time I had the stand and wait for her. I understand it gets busy with takeout orders - but 48 minutes made me feel ridiculous for waiting SMH come on! Therefore, customer service needs improvement. Cleanliness was good.
