The place looks nice at first glacé, but I have to say, it was the least appetizing thing I’ve eaten this year and I eat from a university dining plan. The chicken was unseasoned, cold and probably cooked the day before (check picture added), the eggs tasted like they were made the day before and the noodles were basically noodles in a water broth. I did not finish my meal and I will not be returning. These 4 star reviews are a straight hoax. Don’t waste your money here, I spent 40 dollars for 2 meals here when the 5 dollar packets of ramen from t&t taste astronomically better. Don’t waste your money here. Also if you decide to come for whatever reason don’t bring your jacket, you have nowhere to put it and have to leave it at the front of the resteraunt
I left Toronto 2 years ago and I came back last week. Kinton Raman was one of my favorite Raman restaurants in Toronto. But now all Raman price increased (it was around 17 before and now is around 20). And yet the taste of the noodles got worse than before. It’s dry and without elasticity. The meats are getting thinner and smaller after price increase. Service became worse, they don’t even serve me with water when I came in. I don’t think I will be back from now on.
I got severe food poisoning. Ordered pork miso ramen with an egg, they mistakenly put chicken in, then corrected my order. Spent 3 days so very sick from this meal. Potentially concerned about the food safety practices in the kitchen. Questioning if the ingredients were fresh or if it was mishandled. Usually, I love the Kinton Ramen franchise! But never been to this particular kitchen and won’t be coming back.
