KINTON RAMEN OTTAWA

Had an excellent experience at Ottawa’s newest ramen place. Ordered spicy chicken garlic ramen in pork broth - super tasty (a bit spicy). Great atmosphere and helpful staff!

There were two of us, had high hopes for this place. The takoake was emanating a strong order and had the server taken it off the table after just taking a bite off it concerned about food poisoning. Was expecting to be taken off the bill without even mentioning but guess again. The ramen was nice and flavourful, can’t say the same of neither the Karagi or cheesecake.
I guess the service was a one off thing owing to the busy night, but still doesn’t make up for being inattentive and disorderly.
All in all 100$ spent amongst two of us for dinner. Not worth it.

We had a delightful experience at this spot, and it was made even better by the outstanding service provided by Regan. Kudos to Regan and the entire team for not just serving good ramen but for creating an inviting and hospitable atmosphere.

The broth was definitely the highlight, perhaps the best in town. Not overly seasoned like Sansotei’s. On the flip side, the beef was delicious but could have been a little thicker, there were no shiitake mushrooms in any of the ramen or as an extra, and the matcha desserts were okay but failed to impress. This is a ramen chain after all.

Will definitely come back!

This is one of the better ramen shops in Ottawa that also caters to non-traditional ramen eaters. I got the vegetarian miso soup with an extra egg and veg gyoza. The broth was flavourful and brought warmth to my body. The noodles were fresh and held the broth well and definitely slurpable. The shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, corn and fried tofu were great for this dish and the extra egg was medium boiled with proper soy sauce infusions within. I would've preferred more soft boiled but that is a minor complaint. Overall, really enjoyed and will return!

First time trying Kinton Ramen. Got to try Takoyaki for the first time and pleasantly surprised. I had the beef spicy garlic, my bf had the pork spicy garlic. Both delicious! The meat was cooked perfectly and the broth was full of flavour. Will definitely come back to try more ramen!

Food was great! It was prepared very fast so I didn't have to wait long. I had 1 hour before my class and I finished in 30 min. The atmosphere was nice and wasn't a large space. Good variety of ramen.

Very tasty ramen and pleased to see 4 vegetarian options (even if all the options are similar and quite simple)

Cute place with basic decor, a little cold and drafty in the winter.

Service is friendly but they could be more attentive.

Will be back to try more things!

I was so captivated by the wonderful service and the delicious ramen. I will definitely be coming back, highly recommend this place.
