The Medical center has a lot of rules and regulations in order to be considered a new patient here. Great ideas with poor execution and lack of organization with very cold receptionists. I know there is some sensitivity training definitely needed at this location.

The booking staff is so responsive via email and over the phone. I had to make several changes to appointments and they were understanding and accommodating.

Positive experience every time we have an interaction with the Front desk Staff and Doctors. Always helpful and courteous- we don’t live in the area anymore and happily drive an hour+. Says A Lot! About a clinic when staff and patients stay for 20+ years! Thank you All at Kipling Heights - #1 in my book.

Dr. Mejule is the first doctor in a long time (since COVID) that I feel is actually listening to my concerns. I have seen other doctors when complaining about my knee and they didn't even touch my knee - they went right to offering me painkillers.
Dr. Mejule didn't do that. She listened to my concerns about my knee and assessed properly and ordered tests.
I am very happy I have found a doctor that I can trust.

It’s always so difficult trying to get a hold of anyone at this place via phone and am left being on hold for at least 45 minutes just trying to book an appointment. Tried booking via email once and no one ever got back to me. Very unprofessional.

Reception at desk is horrible and rude. Also was told i needed to wait 1 month for a phone appointment with a doctor. Over 1 month wait for a phone appointment……….

Not sure why the low rating for the front office staff they have always been helpful and respectful. Dr. Skeete is my doctor and he is an absolute gem!

Don't expect to find a personal physician here as apparently the only doctor accepting new patients doesn't have ANY time for them within the next 3 MONTHS.
Also why was I asked so many times if I was on opioids? !?
Is this just another methadone clinic.as if we don't have enough of them in Toronto already.

This is the worst office to try to get through to ask, and leave a msg for your Doctor, as my dad is in need due to him being a palliative care patient. Dr Pawlina, has mentioned for us to call at anytime to speak to her if needed. She is a good physician, but her staff need to go. I sat on hold for over 45mins, and then the line died. It makes me laugh as they say your call is portant to us. That's a joke.

It is a good clinic overall but man do they need some new, professional staff that take phone calls for booking appointments. For one they always rush the whole process and are NOT FRIENDLY at all. I feel like they need patience when working with people especially seniors. I literally feel stressed when i have to call them.

Very bad experience trying to get in touch with your own family doctor when you are down with covid and expecting. No clear communication from the receptionists and the doctor had no ownership to call back the same day. You only get a call back from another doctor after you follow up 5 times in 3 days. Our family doctor calls back after 5 days asking for an update and saying she did not get any message. Clearly unacceptable and wonder what patient care means to them.

I have been going here since I was early twenties im 40 now today was my last straw. I will miss Dr Khan and Dr Pawlina BUT front desk is absolutely unacceptable unprofessional and unpleasant. We ONTARIANS PAY THESE WOMEN leave the practice and go elsewhere they are not worth the aggravation. I am going to find out how to hold them accountable and share. Because the office manager Norma clearly isn't doing her job

The government or some kind of governing body needs to shut this place down. I haven't been able to get through to my doctor in 3 years.they simply will not answer the phones. The last time I was there was 2019.

Two months ago I got through after a 20 minute wait and begged to see my doctor because I had all signs of strep with negative lab and strep tests. The receptionist was mean and told me no, that she had no doctors, and that she couldn't help me. She told me to try a walk in. I was baffled then.

Today was my final straw. After being sick for a week+ and trying to figure out what's going on. Spent 20 minutes on hold. Hung up, called again, spent 45 minutes! On hold only to not have my call taken. I hung up and went to a walk in. No friends, family, or strangers can believe it when I tell them but its true. I've had three medical situations this year that I've tried to contact my GP about and they just won't pickup.and the one time they did I was refused care. Probably a total of a dozen or so calls over the course of 3 months (so not a lot.but still a lot?) completely ignored. So I haven't seen him. I've gone to walk ins and even my former pediatrician instead. Healthcare should not be inaccessible.not in Ontario, not in Canada, not anywhere should this cut it.

I'm currently in the process of getting on another doctor's roster, which in Ontario is difficult and lengthy. I feel awful for new Canadians, elderly, etc.stuck on a doctor's roster here that wouldn't know the process of getting out and can't access medical care.

I hope the frustration, anxiety, and hopelessness you put your patients through is worth it. Screw you guys. Figure it out or shut it down.

TBH. SOME doctors are Very nice and Helpful. Shout out Dr. TOMA. BY FAR The best one there. With that being said, the receptionist at the front entrance.the older ones. Very rude. Dismissive, they cut you off when talking. Just bad customer service in general. I can wait for the young regime to take over for (them). Not even because their older, you need O. Gs everywhere. They just dont know how to deal with people anymore. Respectfully.

Asked the skinny trini looking receptionist for a family dr referral. She gave me a card to call. I went back and said I didn’t have my phone she said call the switch board she can’t do it. I went back one more time and the lady to her right wouldn’t even look up at my to help-mind you there is no one in line and it is early in the morning- so I went back to her and just asked for her to book it for me because I was able to use my fiancés phone and was waiting on hold for 20mins. She rudely told me go to the next window and walked away as she muttered under her breath. Finally the young Indian girl tried to book me in to see someone (she was actually nice to deal with) and next available appointment to see Dr. Jennifer Mejule and book a family dr meet and greet was a month away. I told her forget it, because I don’t ever want to deal with the receptionist again and such an unprofessional Center. People go here for help and these receptionist have zero compassion- that is clear to see after only dealing with them for 3 mins. I get that the area is not so great but come on. If you don’t like your job and are so miserable then get a new one and put us out of our misery.

The worst customer service ever. The receptionists are always rude when I go and every time I call they are never kind and always want to rush through to end the call. I’ve only stuck around because of my doctor, Dr. Niakan. But I really hope you guys encourage the receptionists to be better or simply replace them. They’re making the clinic look very bad.

Dr. Sheldon Finkelstein has been our family Doctor of over 45 years.he is an very competant family doctor, He has an excellent and exceptional concern and care for his patients. He is kind, considerate and careing. He takes the time to explain to you condition and situation, if you take the time to listen. I highly recommed him and his services. My family is grateful and thanks him for his continuing services.

While majority of the Doctors at this clinic are spectacular, the front desk staff falls short other then one or two of the full time ladies. It is impossible to get through to make an appointment. Either the phone hangs up on you after pressing 1 or you wait for 20 minutes to be hung up on. The mail box is almost always full, and even if it’s not ; no one will return a call. An online booking system should really be implemented as its more efficient, easier for the patients and will let the people answering the phones who clearly don’t want to be doing it do something they enjoy more.

I have called 3 times within two days trying to book a phone appointment with my doctor with no success. I called during their business hours. Yesterday Oct 15th, I waited 8 minutes listening to automated message that continuously says "Your call is important to US, Please wait on the phone for the next available operator" and finally gave up and had to hang up. 2nd time was Today Oct 16th, I called at 9: 30 and I waited 24 minutes, again listening to the same automated message, no operator picked up and I had to hang up. 3rd time, today Oct 16th, I called at 10am and waited again for 16 minutes with no success. It is so frustrating, time consuming and flat out wrong when you are not feeling well and trying to reach your doctor yet no one picks up your call, or even allow you to go into the office to book the appointment. Receptionists don't care and very Unprofessional.what a waste of time.

Who is responsible for answering the phone? I literally called over 20 times in a row today to try to make an urgent appointment and I just kept getting hung up on. I could not get through whatsoever. This isn’t even the first time this bs occurred. What kind of BS is this place? Truly ridiculous

The receptionists it seems like hate their job because I went to pickup my prescription and she yelled at me for trying to use the clinics entrance. I didn't tell you to drop it off at the attached pharmacy. I am very capable of picking up my prescription and taking it to a pharmacy of my choice. It seems like the receptionists have an allergic reaction every time you press the intercom to speak with someone there and the doctors/owners do nothing to deter this behavior. This leads me to assume that this is by design. Respect the people that pay your bills. At least don't yell at them for no reason. It is basic human decency/courtesy. I hope you liked my piece of mind that I gave you and hope that does lead you to not yell at anyone else.

I drive to get here from Brampton. It's not a real mystery why that is. This facility has been taking care of me and my family for the better part of 2 decades. Highly recommended!

It was great, From the minute I made the appointment. I called in was able to see Dr. Pawlina in 2 days as a new patient. I made the appointment in the evening which was even better since I work all day. The minute I arrived the receptionist was sweet I had a seat I was there early was taken early I waited 5 minutes then I was called. I was in shock. Dr. Pawlina is very smart she asked me personal questions and put in all in the computer. I was asked to do blood work and did it the next day by the third day I received results. This is wonderful. Love my old doctor but they never answered the phone and I had to wait weeks for an appointment and not to mention waiting for blood works. This works exceptional for my schedule. Kipling heights medical centre keep doing what your doing. I've told everyone about my experience. Thank you.

I went here to see a family doctor as a "new patient". I waited at the reception desk 15 minutes and the lady behind the reception desk never even looked up to acknowledge me. Finally I said "excuse me" and the lady behind the reception desk still would not look up to acknowledge me. Finally after waiting 25 minutes the receptionist finally took time to loom up from her computer and asked if she could help me. I told her I was a new patient and had an appointment with a family doctor. The receptionist said I was late for my appointment so I would have to reschedule. Really! Receptionist made me wait 25 minutes before even looking up from her computer to acknowledge me and this is my fault? How do you figure tat out? Well guess what, I don't want to be a patient there after all. I found a new family doctor. My advise to this clinic, get new reception staff ASAP.

The staff here are very friendly and have highly exceeded my expectations for being supportive. I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about -I’m always seen promptly and the front desk is great about changing my appointments (which I do frequently!). Dr. Iordache genuinely cares, she and her team have gone the extra mile to make sure I’m well; so much gratitude, thank you!

They never answer their phone! Its almost impossible to get through to someone. They have been calling me every morning while i am on the subway. I try to call them back just 15 mins later, and NO ANSWER. I left voicemails, nothing. Also, they are disrespectful. I am transgender and they keep calling me up by my old name just because i hadn't changed it on my health card yet.
