I mentally have this store marked in my memory as the one where Peggy is. I've been into this store maybe a handful of times over the last few years and Peggy always offers me warm and genuine customer service. She strikes up a sincere conversation and exudes a cheeriness that stays with me.
Took advantage of some great seasonal sales. Was greeted and checked on by a few staff members. The gentleman who cashed me out was just the friendliest human. He was personable and witty.
In July 2021, my wife placed an order for goods from KITCHEN STUFF PLUS online store. Delivery was supposed to be free and by CANADA POST and to our front door. When the package had not arrived on the date promised, I went to our mailbox, which is inside the lobby of our apartment building, and found a CANADA POST “delivery notice”, which said we had to pick up our package at a SHOPPERS DRUG MART the next business day.
I tried to phone CANADA POST using their phone number as given on the “delivery notice” several times that day, and on the next day. The number was always engaged. I phoned KITCHEN STUFF PLUS, who said I needed to send them an email concerning the matter, which I duly did. They replied, stating that it was CANADA POST’S problem and not their problem.
I managed to speak to CANADA POST after getting through using another telephone number, and I was told, that the delivery person was unable to deliver, because no one was at home, (This was a blatant lie…. We were home all day) and therefore their instruction was to deliver to SHOPPERS DRUG MART, from which we would have to pick up our package ourselves.
This meant I had to hire a cab to get to SHOPPERS DRUG MART, which did not have shopping carts. Without a cart, or a trolley, it was impossible for me to carry the package, so I had to go back to fetch a trolley, and the cab driver and I were then able to get the package, drive home, and get the package to our apartment.
This cost me $100 for the cab driver.
My complaints to KITCHEN STUFF PLUS and to CANADA POST for some compensation, proved futile…each blaming the other, and CANADA POST claiming we were not at home, when we were at home….
Was there this evening and asked at the front desk for assistance with the "Splash Ella Shower Curtain Liner" that they keep in the back. The more elderly woman behind the counter sighed very loudly and was apparently very bothered by my asking for assistance. She told me to take a plastic shower curtain liner off the shelf. I explained that I wanted the microfiber shower curtain liner. I walked with her back to the display to show her. She absolutely refused to get me one. She said it was just a name and it was not really a shower curtain liner. I was left speechless. I left my cart with all of the things I intended to buy right there and left the store.
Look no further! This store has everything you need at great prices. A very good selection. I found what I was looking for an more! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you want in a store. Don't bother with online shopping. Go in and say hello! Enjoy.
I recently visited this store to pick up a few Christmas household. One of the customer service associate named Trevor was exceptional in providing customer service. For example, Trevor went above and beyond to ensure he could locate all the items that were advertised. His personality and customer service skills had truly made my day! I have never had such a blast shopping for household items. From now on this is my go to store. Also a big shout out goes to other staff members. Amanda you are also an amazing store manager and thank you for further assisting me in regards to another item. From now on this is my go to store as the items in this store are affordable and modern:) See you guys to pick up a few more items.
I've been shopping at various Kitchen Stuff Plus locations for at least thirty years now. This one is well-stocked, with good service. I'm looking forward to exploring it further as I need kitchen tools and gadgets.
Best deals in town. Wide selection and quality assured. The best place to buy your kitchen needs. Always nice staff whichever location you may go to. Great company.
This place ALWAYS seems to have exemplary customer service as well as a great selection of pretty much any kitchen gadgets and accessories you would ever need. I've been a regular at Kitchen Stuff Plus for years.
I’ve bought some great things from this store, including a wonderful spatula and cast-iron skillet. The selection is great, and the staff is super helpful.
A good place to pick up kitchen gadgets but the store arrangement is very confusing. Friendly staff. I only go for the sale items, as most of the other items can be purchased at lower prices from the Dollar Store.
Fantastic place for affordable kitchen supplies. Absolutely we can trust the quality of the products. Online shopping is the best as well. Plus the store have several chains in and around Toronto as well as GTA. Recently bought glass jars and loving it.
Hey hey yall and a Happy 22 to Yas Stores lookin great ~~= i love everything as always. *HOWEVER* I got this super cute country buttr dish and turns out theres a chip.sadly because of where it is will bring upon the demise of the dish so much quicker.which sux in the end . May i exchange plz?
Every time I go here, there is no sense of urgency and poor customer service. I went in this afternoon with specific flyer items in mind for purchase.
I asked a sales lady where one item was and she basically told me to go and ask someone else because she and the other worker standing with her just started; very dismissive and unwilling. I literally found the item within a minute by looking for myself. She had the nerve to make a comment soon after that I found it lol. In retail especially, if you do not know where something is, you (the employee) find someone who does.
After more lacklustre customer service I am now at the cash with two heavy boxes. A lady at the cash asked a higher up if she should open another cash; she was dismissed. After waiting at least 5 minutes for two others to be cashed out, they finally decide to open another cash. Mind you, there were more staff in the store than customers. This place just always leaves me in disbelief.
Pretty large location with a great selection of items for your kitchen. Pretty good pricing and you'll most likely find it if you're looking for something specific!
All over me about mask covering my nose. Breathing difficult so I left. Wont go there again. No one in the store. Who needs the hassle. Masks dont protect u. No science behind this. Relax people. I get distancing that is ok but seriously the masks are overkill in an empty store. U lost my business.
I went to this store today, July 8th, at 12: 45pm, to buy a KitchenAid Professional, $399 as announced on internet, I was also going to buy a blender which would cost me more at least more $100. Well, here is the deal, I'll never comeback to that store anymore. After waiting like 10 minutes outside in 32 degrees Celsius, I came in with my wife and my 6 years old son. All of us wearing masks, but at the moment I passed by the cashiers, a lady wearing glasses, in her 30's, she yelled at me to fix my mask. I got very surprised by the yelling and everyone turned at me like I was some sort of robber. Not happy, I nodded my head because I was not understanding why she was yelling at me and then she yelled 2 more times to me to fix my mask. So, apparently, the reason of all yelling was because my mask was not covering my nose, only my nose. I usually do that because I cannot breath on those and I never had any problem elsewhere. Ok, maybe I'm wrong, I should wear the mask properly, but she really needed to yell at me in front of everyone? My wife got so embarrassed that we left immediately. After talk to a friend, she told me that because I have Asian face, I was clearly a victim of some sort of prejudice. Well, if that's the case or not, the only thing I can't tell is that I will never comeback to that store again and I'll tell everyone I know about this incident. Very bad training to employees, very bad.
Wonderful place.lots of things for the kitchen and dining room. Many nice items for storage as well as mugs, cups, glasses and plates.great inventory.also seasonal items.candles.nice summer items.and reasonable.and great sales. I am always happy here.oh yes and great party items.staff also nice
Totally Verrry bad experience, a Staff was quite Rude, not at all a Helpful person. 1 star also i gVe because os 2 other staff who atleast heard me out
A great store in the heart of greek town. If you're looking for kitchen items head to Kitchen stuff Plus on Danforth. The store features a huge array of kitchen merchandise at fair prices. You get good customer service eith a smile.
Do NOT shop here if you are expecting fair customer service. Their return policy basically is you don't get one. When I tried to return a coffee grinder, well within the 30 days, because its design left me very frustrated with its performance and mess, they refused a refund. They said that they do not offer customer "satisfaction guaranteed refunds" (quote and not stated on the receipt) they won't even give a credit note instead! Shocking. Pretty much a well, too bad, you're out of luck. BUY something else. I walked out and left the grinder there. That's how much I hated it. I'm out $45.and will NEVER return because their policy is We Don't Care and We Don't Offer Any Compromise.
We have a new home and needed everything. This store has it all and highly recommend for those like us, that are starting from scratch. Now.to fill the house with furniture:)
Large store is well organized and very close to Pape subway station. Cash register can be very busy on festival weekends but the staff move clients through very well.
I think half of the knives worth using in our kitchen were bought here. They always seem to have the best prices on Henckels and Staub. My dog likes that it’s a dog-friendly store, and he’s often given treats by the staff.
"Small fish but big fry" is a good way to describe this place. Friendly staff, so much wonderful products to upgrade within your living quarters (from kitchen to washroom to backyard), this place has it all.
Purchased a multiple set of their glass food-storage containers with plastic snap-on lids. The lid broke the very first time we used it, so we called the store to ask if we could simply return the broken lid, or if they needed the entire set. We were told they would not replace it. "Our product is cheap, and this is what you get. All we can offer is that you buy a new set". What kind of customer service is that? Will not return to that store again!
I recently moved into a place for the first time and this location is just down the street. I've been here 4 times this month because the deals are just so great and they have everything you need when trying to fill your kitchen or bathroom with quality of life things. The staff has always been pleasant, greeting you and offering any help you need. They're also very skilled at wrapping your fragile items too!
