I take my Explorer here often for service. Last week I had an oil change and winter tire change done - since they keep my off season tires in their storage.
UNFORTUNATELY they put someone else’s tires and rims on my car. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, there was nobody in service who was able to solve the issue. I was assured by the person that I spoke to that they would alert the manager via email and I would receive a call first thing Monday morning.
No call ever came. I had to call the dealer after waiting until mid-morning and I’m still in the process of trying to find my rims and tires. Who knows where my tires are? It’s Monday afternoon and still haven’t had a call back.
One thing is for sure - for a dealer that sends out a million emails wanting to be a “five-star” dealer - they definitely do not act like one.
Ps - If you’re missing black alloy winter rims and name brand winter tires - they might have accidentally been put on my vehicle. Sorry for the miles I’m putting on your tires. Looks nice though!

Even thought I ended up going with an out of town dealer, I still want to give a great shout out to Hassan at Kitchener Ford. I was looking for something very specific and it wasn't available at the time, but while I waited Hassan was great about regular updates and clear communication. My sister has been having issues with her truck. They diagnosed it in April that it was a cam phaser. They said parts were on backorder but drive the truck. The truck went into limp mode and is unsafe to drive since she is expecting. She has requested a rental car till they fix the truck and they kept putting her off. She call last Friday to find out the status and they said still waiting on parts. On Monday She called again and insisted on a rental due to delivery of new baby this week and they told her parts came in and they could fix it. She brought the truck in and got it back today just before they closed. As She drove down the road the issue came back. She called then and they said it was now the timing chain. Do not take your vehicle to them for service. They just lie and lie and lie. How do parts com in over the weekend and why tell the customer to come pick up the vehicle just before you close. Horrible service

Twice I was called by them to tell me that my parts were in when they weren’t. The second time I had an appointment to get the part installed but when I showed up they did not have my on the schedule nor my parts. Also as soon as I signed the paper work for the truck the customer service seems to just stop. Not impressed…

Multiple problems with my Ford Fusion SE.

At 145k it turned into a rock. They can't tell me what caused it, how to prevent it or if it'll even stop if I replace the engine on it. Repair was worth more than my car.

Bought it brand new off of them. Had nothing but problems.

Brought it somewhere else and got a much better trade in value.

They tried to say I never changed the oil which I always was on top of.

Brakes costs me 820. Did the others for 350.

Really disappointed. Hope Ford does something about a loyal customer but I doubt it

I went to a different dealer that was closer to my home and had a bad experience.

I then went to Kitchener Ford and worked with Connor Fairbrass and he was amazing. Showed me all the features of the vehicle I was looking at, his experience with a similar vehicle and no sales pressure.

I didnt choose that vehicle, but when I did decide on a Ford, I went to Kitchener Ford, even though it's an hour from my home.

I love the set up of this service department. Al is great and tries to help by keeping his customers updated. I took my work truck in with an issue and they were able to get all necessary approvals with my company quickly. Only reason for 4/5 stars was due to me having an appointment back in November, arriving first thing in the morning, only to find out that my part was given away to someone else. Al worked hard to get it ordered and kept me updated with rescheduling my repair. The part was on backorder so I had to wait till December (now) to get the vehicle fixed.

While I love the truck I got and the price was terrific, from time to time there will always be something with any vehicle that needs attention. This is where Kitchener Ford has shone. Any time there has been the slightest issue, they have gone well above and beyond my expectations. I will recommend this dealership to anyone looking at a new Ford.

I bought my first pick-up at Kitchener Ford less than 2 weeks ago. Great bunch of people, who really care about the cars they are selling.

We have owned several Ford suv's over the years (as well as several other brands and vehicle styles) but we have never had a more pleasant yet thorough vehicle buying experience. Not once, did we feel pressured or coerced into anything, in fact we found the entire process to be somewhat leisurely.

I should mention two members of the staff who we feel deserve a little acknowledgement. Alyssa provided us with not only very competitive prices and rates, but she also presented us with several fantastic truck choices, for us to consider. This was my first time coming to Kitchener Ford after purchasing a 2017 Ford Escape from an out of market dealership (traded in an old jeep), about a year earlier. I searched for Ford dealers and Kitchener Ford was 18 in all of Ontario and needless to say 1 in Waterloo region on Dealer Rater. And I can fully understand why. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. My service advisor Al, who was a little busy at the time, after all, I'm not the only one dropping off a car at 8am, was not rushed with me, took his time, explained all the recommended services etc.and of course very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was completed on time and price was definitely reasonable. Very pleased and will definitely be coming for future service.

I just had my F150 serviced for warranty repairs by Samantha and her team. The work was completed on schedule and all outstanding recalls were also done at the same time. I have been a customer of Andrew Thibaudeau and Kitchener Ford for many years and they take care of their customers.

Only place I'll take my Ford. They were able to get my car in a full week sooner than other dealerships, service was quick and advisers were very friendly. Minor discrepancy with the cost, however Samantha honored the price I was quoted. Would definitely recommend.

Really really bad service, I if could give zero star I would do it. I reached out for vehicle that was posted on their website, I wanted to see vehicle, it me took several attempts to get hold on someone. When I got on the reception, was told salesman will contact me.

Till then no one contacted me and the audacity they send email for survey how to service was. I even
filled the survey and they said the gonna send it to the Manager and will get back to me, still nothing zero, nada happens.

I have now purchased 3 vehicles at Kitchener Ford. Each experience was fantastic! They have always answered all my questions and go about and beyond.

My appointment was recall servicing on my Lincoln MKT. COVID made it a little inconvenient. No shuttle service home so I had to wait for almost six hours on site.
The work was satisfactorily completed and staff was gracious and kept me informed on progress.

A huge thank you to Mike, Charita and Kyle for working with me and fixing another dealerships mess! After having the transmission 'fixed' at Pitmans, I was having more issues and they told me "it's bulletproof now, your car has 5 year, 100,000km powertrain warranty so just drive it. " Everyone here at Kitchener Ford actually took me in, checked it out and ended up having to put a new transmission in, also replaced the water pump that was noisy. They're very helpful, supportive, knowledgeable, attentive to details and actually care about you. I'll only be going here from now on! I should of just gone here right from the beginning.still kicking myself over it.

This time around I wasn’t so satisfied. I had my usual oil change plus a problem with my wiper sprayers. After they tried to fix the problem the conclusion was there was ice build up costing me 155$. This is unacceptable in my eyes as companies usually ask permission to go ahead with stuff that is going to cost you. As well as they changed my wiper blades when I had already changed them two weeks before resulting in more wasted money without consulting me. Overall they are always friendly but had a bad experience this time around.

I am very grateful to Connor for his quick response, help and thorough description of the car and video recording for me personally. I recommend everyone to work with this branch. Good prices and nice staff.

I found crack on windshield just after the service was completed (it was verified that windsheild was good in service document). I went back to report it but using old tactics never agreed that they did it or they just passed it without checking. No clue. Please think twice whether to pay premium price for irresponsible service. Anyways I would recommend better witness the service rather than just dropping off ur vehicles.

Hello my name is Carlos Lopes owner of 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat

I Just wanted to reach out and explain on my last ford service experience. My 2016 Ford F-150 that I purchased from Kitchener Ford I believe last February (not even a year)  was in about 5 times to have the Backup Camera issue resolved and yet there is no fix on it as we speak. The service staff there at Kitchener are really nice people, but I find the service lacking. I work in Kitchener and it’s quite Convenient to take my vehicle to this dealership for service, But with my recent experience I think I will just deal with either Waterloo or Cambridge. I work for a Large Equipment Rental Company that has quite a large Ford Vehicle Fleet and have be happy with my last two Ford Trucks.

Just an Fyi, I haven’t mentioned this to the Kitchener Ford Dealership because I didn’t think it was a big deal at the time as I really like my Ford Lariat, But when I purchased this Vehicle and signed off on the Purchase documents it was stated this Vehicle had a clean bill of Health. I went to renew my plate sticker last July and found out this Truck was in a Accident. Again this was not mentioned to me at the time of sale,   Very disappointed and most likely be my last Ford Truck Purchase.

I purchased a 2018 ford F150 lariat from kitchner ford as a used truck Feb, 10,2021 from a seemly large supply of used trucks that are as close to new conditions as a used truck can get. The sales approach due to covid changed what I was expecting to deal with and honestly it was for the better. Andrew.david.and Adam made the buying experience fast and streamlined easy and informative.these sales men could tell you accurate numbers for any situation off the top of the head and knew the products they sold very well.the dealer offered a fair trade in value for my trade as well.when I need a truck or a friend does I'd definitely buy from kitchner ford again.great experience here and they do go the extra mile here for you to be happy. When I was initially asked to review, I tried to delete the email from my mobile phone. Little did I know that I inadvertently hit the one star rating before trying to delete. Instead, my review was published with one star, but no text in the field. Even though I didn't mention anything about Kitchener Ford, the owner still replied, obviously concerned about the low rating. That alone speaks volumes that they honestly care about the Customer. As mentioned earlier, I'll be back. My guess is they aren't able to edit the initial response.

Thought I was gonna wait out in the cold while my vehicle was being serviced.wrong! Ronnie at service bay reception explained all that will be done on the vehicle and because of the lock down due to pandemic, they've setup vehicles parked outside as make shift customer waiting pods.all sanitized and ready. I had the privilege to wait in a fancy all leather Lincoln SUV with heated seats.the vehicle warmed up pretty quickly and was comfy throughout my time waiting which wasn't that long actually.so, happy and satisfied customer here! Had a very positive experience at kitchener ford, my sales person Jackson was very helpful and we came to a deal very quickly.

I have a 2017 F150 that has a problem with the driveline or transmission I have complained about this problem for over two years had it in multiple times and still there is no resolution. When I go into the dealership I just get a (not this guy again feeling) not sure why they have always been curious. When you have been a long time Ford customer and spent your hard earned money on something you would like it to be right. It is just frustrating that after all these years and visits they still say NFF (no fault found) I guess it’s just a waiting game now until I run out of warranty than the problem will be fixed.
I must add that there was another long time problem with my sync/radio that was in countless of times that they have fixed finally Thank you.

Hello, I do not think I could reply to any reviews or comments, my friend finished her lease with Kitchener Ford, she paid extra as it was required by the dealership for some kind of CarFax fee and other fees which the other deal does not have, she had to get it done with Kitchener due to time constraints, also, she had to go to service ON to change her permit although it was paid to the dealership

The service is wonderful also my sales person: John Morrissey was above and beyond with knowledge and perfection also the co owner was fantastic very helpful and gave me a nice vacuum for my Granddaughter who is studding to be a Nurse.

Customer service from the service department is always good and pleasant.
Coolant has constantly leaking out of my 2014 Escape which has now been in twice to be looked at and been told they can’t find the issue.
Had the car towed there because car totally failed on me today, completely overheated. Ford Canada doesn’t want to seem to take ownership of the coolant system failure/recall and now I’m down a vehicle. Don’t know what to do.

Many problems. 1) Made me feel forced into buying 2) was told problems would be fixed on the used vehicle was not (they actually damaged it and voided the contract). 3) was reluctant on returning my deposit then they thought they made a mistake. Threatened to put a lien on my plates or vehicle if I didn’t pay them, while they owed me money LOL. On top of that they did not notify me of the damage and almost had me drive off the lot. If you ask me U Turn ASAP

Kitchener Ford was great to work with when buying our vehicle. The only downfall with them I found was when buying a used vehicle of a different brand they didn’t know much about it. I would have liked our salesman know more of the specifics of the vehicle and it’s features.

Worst experience ever.terrible customer service, very poor attitude and not personable at all.do not go here. Even when signing the paper work, the finance manager tried adding on extended warranty without telling me.when it finally came time to pick up the vehicle, it had two noticeable scratches on it.when I made it known to them, they said they would get it fixed immediately. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything from them, I called only to be told they had forgot about it. I finally got it fixed but only after getting the general manager involved.save yourself the time and stress and don't waste your time here.

Great experience! Super friendly staff, knowledgeable about their vehicles and delivered on all promises. I ended up getting a 2018 f150 lariat the platinum used is a real thing! When i arrived to pick up the truck it was really nicely detailed in and out, the small dents were pulled (couldnt even tell they were there) paint chips filled in and break pads in the front brand new. Victor was also a pleasure to deal with along with Dave (i think, brutal with names)! Thanks kitchener ford! I will be recommending you to friends and family and will be coming back in the future for my next truck! No bs just good business, super appreciated!
