Worst go station you have ever seen. People walk through slope’s because there are no more convenient way to walk. Thera are no enough parking lots. It’s a mess of traffic when train arrived. The waiting areas do not have doors to keep everyone warm.

There's literally no parking! There's only 10 visitor spots which are always full and if you park by the station it's only for viarail which will get you ticketed.

It's not that bad here. They have clean washrooms. But, besides that it could have a vending machine and some TV's to watch.

Not well equipped as other go station. You might find a lack of sign boards to direct you as when I was traveling, I had difficulty finding a stop for the bus as it shows the train stop on the map. Be advised and ask for your platform. If you could not find it on time, otherwise, you'll miss your commute.

Station infrastructure (e.g. Parking, intersection, pick up area) really needs improving in order to support the volume of commuters. Can be very challenging entering and exiting the station during peak times.

Literally the worst train station.there is NO parking and unlike other go stations, if you do find a spot to park you have to pay for it.go to another station, this place is not worth the stress.

I came here specifically to buy a card, but it turned out that I couldn’t buy it from both machines and could only load it, which didn’t match the description on the website.

This Go train station is almost in downtown kitchener, so it’s easily accessible for those living in downtown waterloo and kitchener as there is also a local bus stop and go bus stop as well in front of the station. The trains are also departing/ arriving almost on time.so, reach 2-3 mins ahead of departure time, so you won’t miss the train. Billets/ presto card loaders are working in good condition most of the time. There is some waiting room which would be closed after certain hours.

Parking needs to be improved, especially in peak times it is very tough for those commuting everyday via train to park their cars due to insufficient parking space. Overall, it’s a better option to commute to toronto or other urban areas

If you are thinking of buying a Presto card ($6) at the train station, make sure you check far in advance before the train is due to arrive. The station building has no GO or Presto support but you can reach someone through the phone number relatively quickly.

Things to note:
1. There are two ticketing machines at the opposite end of the station near the platform.
2. In this case, one "buy a card" button was active but nothing happens; the other one (by Smile Tiger) didn't even have the buy card option despite the rep on the phone telling me to try that one next
3. Second rep informed me that if all else fails, you are supposed to be able to tap on and tap off with a credit card and it would charge you the same rate as having a Presto card.
4. If you plan to do that and take the subway at Union, keep in mind that the TTC will accept Presto cards with a special fare price, but they do not accept the tap credit card method, nor can you do it via the app. You will either have to buy tickets (cash fare) or a Presto card at the subway station.

1.5 hours to get to Toronto! We need to get people out of their cars and not commuting on the 401. Fast trains at a reasonable cost is the only way.

The only part that sucks is parking which would be hard to solve as there is not a lot of room. Also at peak times traffic can be heavy so be careful. Other than that it's good, always clean when I'm there!

Calling this a train station is a joke. I would give it five negative stars if I could. It is a rail track where some trains stop not necessarily on schedule next to a homeless encampment. The encampment looks better organized. If you think you will drive up leave your car and get on a train think again there is very limited amount of overpriced parking available. If you are dropping off or picking up a passenger take valium before arrival as the drop off area is designed by a sadist who has done everything possible to trigger someone's temper. All involved in this enterprise should be let GO.

The train schedule is great! Parking is terrible. Would love to take the later train to Union but due to limited parking even the 5: 15am train is becoming tough. Milton is almost half the population of Kitchener/Waterloo and their GO station has great free parking and also collaborates with public transportation! I think ridership would increase if station was modernized with adequate parking and/or public transportation. If parking is almost non-existent then at least work with the city to have public transportation stops onsite! Kitchener has the worst urban planning.

Once we have more service to and from Toronto, I'll be happy to provide a higher rating. Until then it's not very convenient for travel to and from Toronto or Guelph or anywhere on the Lakeshore line.

Needs ALL DAY Go Train service to Union asap. I'd actually live DTK for this convenience. Also why is no one advocating for connecting the tech-hub to the financial hub. Missed opportunity for economic resilience. Build it and they will come.

I'd give it more stars however the shelters are always locked so in bad weather you have to stay outside waiting for the train.

This station is small and busy as all get out when a train arrives but it's so conveniently located.

The Kitchener "GO" station (really more suited for low volume Viarail travel) is becoming an example of urban planning gone wrong. Despite the population growth in KW and increasing number of commuters travelling from Kitchener to Toronto, there have been no efforts made by the city or province to improve the station, most importantly parking. On a daily basis, I am struggling to find a spot in the crowded, and somewhat dangerous parking lot, leading to a frantic few minutes of driving down Frederick St.to find an alternate location and trying to run and make the Train (and often being ticketed by the city or 3rd party lot on top of it all!) - if this is an effort to reduce the incentive to move to Kitchener, well done Metrolinx

the indigo parking app is also a waste of time and effort. Will get tickets even if you pay through app and Indigo will not return calls or emails.
