Went in looking to get a new vehicle and from the very first interaction, it was clear that the salesman was not interested in dealing with us if we didn't intend on buying the car right then and there. The extremely pushy service, along with the highly questionable add-ons that were included left a very bad taste in my mouth. We left there paying a deposit, but told them that we need to think about this more. We looked around and decided to go with another manufacturer, and requested a refund. The finance guy was extremely condescending, and asked us whether the other manufacturer stayed till 10 in the night for us? I'm sorry? You wanted to make the sale. You were the ones that were pushy. I never asked you to stay that late. And you have the audacity to give me attitude? The salesman, as well as the finance guy, are rude and unprofessional. Both of them need better training. This experience has made me never want to return to this Hyundai dealership.

I went there to check my vehicle engine issue. They drove my vehicle for test without opening the hold and verbally said, ALL IS GOOD, and problem is still there.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They were prompt and helped me eventhough I arrived without an appointment. I dont drive their most expensive car but was treated to first class service.

We bought a brand new Elantra back in 2016, and loved it. It was our first brand new car purchased, so we decided to do everything that the manufacturer and dealership recommended for maintenance. We never drove it rough, and had plans to keep it well over 300,000k. Until earlier this month when at 206,000 Km's, the transmission started slipping, and not wanting to go into Drive. We immediately contacted Kitchener Hyundai, but they didn't offer us an appointment for another 4 weeks. So we went to Cambridge Hyundai, where they informed us the transmission needs to be replaced. Over $6,000 for the transmission itself, and $1,100 to install it, for a total of over $7,000. They offered no help, no acknowledgements of a transmission dying 200k into a lifespan of a car. I wrote Kitchener Hyundai a detailed email to see if they could be of help, as well as Hyundai Canada. And have been met with radio silence.

I've been able to find a shop to repair it with a used transmission for around $5000 in the meantime.

How do you expect to maintain loyal customers when the product they buy isn't reliable, extremely expensive to repair, and you make no time to help them even though they've been reliably using you for maintenance the whole lifespan of the vehicle up to this point?

At this point I can not recommend Kitchener Hyundai.

process. We love our new car and all of the safety and luxury features.

Had my first car maintenance checkup for my Venue. I appreciated the quick and efficient service I received. I was given an option for a "little extra" and chose the dash/door wipe down which unfortunately didnt look like it had been done. Despite this, I had a good experience for my first visit

We were looking to buy a used vehicle as-is at a reasonable cost. Our salesperson Demarquis was extremely friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate us, even coming in after hours and helping us get connected with an insurance broker who also helped us get a fair insurance rate quickly. The price was also very reasonable - our salesperson helped us work within our limited budget.

After the purchase, we had the vehicle thoroughly inspected and some minor problems fixed by a family member who is a professional mechanic - exactly as the salesperson had told us, there were a few minor problems but nothing major.

Extremely happy with the purchase and the entire sales process. I highly recommend Kitchener Hyundai.

Quoted me 400 dollars then attempted to charge me nearly 800. (Not permitted in Ontario: your charge cannot be more than 10% more than your estimate - and boy, they didn't like that I knew that!)

Were never able to diagnose multiple issues with my vehicle. I took it to a real mechanic and he figured it out before he even sat in the car.

I've wasted a lot of money here trying to diagnose my problem and getting absolutely terrible (and expensive) advice.

Additionally, they gave my number to the sales department that tried multiple times to sell me an overpriced, insanely marked-up car. The sales associate's tactics included several blatant lies, including telling me he had a buyer for my car. I told him to set up the deal to sell my car, but I wouldn't be buying a new car from the dealership. Never heard back. Imagine that.

This is a dishonest dealership and there are way better places to take your vehicle.

I have always felt welcome @ Kitchener Hyundai. The service representatives are friendly & helpful. This does not happen very often but the service ran over, however the discount I was given was more than enough to make up for it. I am always happy with Kitchener Hyundai. Quentin Davies.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Kitchener Hyundai and was very impressed with my experience. I drove from London to do a test drive with the make and model that I was thinking of buying, a vehicle which was not in stock at any other dealership near me. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire sales experience. Jerwyn was the sales associate who handled my purchase and I highly recommend working with him. I felt zero sales pressure, and he was open and honest about every aspect of my purchase. Good communication throughout the process as well. The trade in value they gave me for my old vehicle was also outstanding, and thousands of dollars higher than the dealership in London I had been to. Really want to thank Kitchener Hyundai for making my first solo vehicle purchase such a positive one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND even if it means driving 100+ km to do business with them. Thank you Jerwyn!

I like the staff. But their booking system is what makes the experience to look very bad. It is not automated and requires manual confirmation. The worst part is that the whole procedure is super slow. It happened to me couple times that I book and get a reply 3-4 days later. Moreover, if I ask a question before I confirm the booking it I have to wait another 3-4 days to get a reply.
UPDATE: just reduced the rating to one star because in the reply they said they are going to call me (which I did not ask for) and did not do it. First, I did not ask to do so. Second, if you promise something then do it. Again, I don't ask to call me, just make sure your booking system works.
The main source of frustration for me is unmet expectations. 2 weeks ago I tried to book another appointment, the system allowed me to do for May 9, but then few days later I got an email that the day is overbooked and the next available one is May 25. Well, if it is overbooked make it visible in your booking system.

From start to after purchase, dealing with Kitchener Hyundai has been exceptional. I had purchased from Demarquis who is knowledgeable, friendly, and felt confident purchasing through him.

The most important thing to me is the after service aspect. My new car needed a repair from the manufacturer, and I experienced excellent service from Melissa and the service team. She kept me in the loop and booked my repair in as soon as possible that was convenient for me.

All around a top notch experience from the team at Kitchener Hyundai.

My wife, and my mother in-law both, bought vehicles from this location. John, is an amazing financial advisor, so I decided to test my luck, and trade in my vehicles for something better, although my credit is low, John was able to get me an amazing deal, with a great vehicle. I appreciate everything the team has done for us, and we all recommend them 100%. The staff is very attentive to detail, which we can appreciate. Left very satisfied, and we will definitely be returning, and recommending their services to our friends.

I worked with Jelena in finance to make it possible to get my new 2021 Tuscon. She was so helpful and went through my credit history step by step so I understood where my rating came from. I felt this was above and beyond what she needed to do and I feel I have a better grasp on my credit rating entirely! First of all the staff and managers are amazing Jelena was such a amazing person to work with, she worked with me, and she was extremely helpful. She helped me with something I had never done before, and After all of her help and work She was able to get me a better car then I was looking at! I had a problem with my car speaker and when I took my car there, I left a little bit angry because the mechanics there were not sure if they could get it cover under ma warranty again, I was very angry because the first time it was replaced it was under warranty but they dont offer warranty to the warranty product. Anyways is not thier fautl, they do try thier best to accomodate everyone, and thanksfully i got my speaker cover, Thanks to Chris Branding, the sales manager for keeping in touch with me all the time, since he sold me my car, everytime i got trouble or question I know i can reach out to him!

Very pleased with my overall experience dealing with their service department from start to finish! After going to Guelph Hyundai and them deeming nothing was wrong with my vehicle, I took it to Kitchener Hyundai before a trip on the long weekend. I had a shuttle when I asked for it and they immediately identified the problem and fixed it under warranty. I had a big drive to make and they worked quick to get it done to exceed my expectations. Would highly recommend them!

Changes in the last year have made me rethink about coming to this location.

I've come to this location for my Santa Fe for a few years, and last year I decided to buy a brand new 2017 Elantra as our second car. The staff and sales people were really nice.

I recently took this 2017 Elantra in for an Oil Change (has 11,000 kms) and I was told that the brakes are in immediate need of Servicing. The invoice had "RED" immediate attention written on it, and they tried to pressure me to pay the $$ to service the brakes and I was told that there was a lot of dust buildup and little to no lubriaction left. I kindly said no and took the car to a certified mechanic Shop Chain (M_E) on Victoria for a second opinion. They took all 4 tires off last night and brought me into the shop to show me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes. They showed me that there was almost no dust build up and that all 4 brakes, calipers, slider pins were properly lubricated.

Kitchener Hyundai, why are you telling customers that they need service when they DO NOT? I love the car, but I am seriously questioning your service department.

On my last service I had an issue with me car and I explain to the advice wats goin my car (when I stop on uphill and car still remain on drive mode it’s rolling back)
After the service I got a note from Kitchener Hyundai “ I have to utilize ebrake at that point “

I was already having a rough morning, and usually when you take your car into the dealership you know that you are in for unexpected costs! However, I was greeted promptly and with the most excellent and friendly service. My day literally was changed because of it. Plus, they found a way to save me money. Will definitely be back!

I go here for my regular car service. They are relatively quick, and I always receive my car as i left it which is good. It is relatively busy or atleast always is when I've been there. Some dealerships offer free washes with service which would be a nice addition. It is a small place with the sales and service department close to each other. The staff who've helped me here are always good. They can be abit fast in explaining things and going through things with you but are always responsive to any questions or concerns you may have.
