I moved to Calgary from Ontario in 2013. I went here with my kids every 2 weeks when they were kiddies. I always visit when I come back

Well organized market during pandemic, decent amount of variety of products, and can’t go wrong with apple fritters!

Nice, you get vegetables and fruits at lower rates. Most importantly you get fresh products there. Highly recommended.

You can find farm products all year round. It's in downtown Kitchener. I don't buy anywhere else if I can help it

It would say just wao.i took some strawberries from there and they were so fresh and tasty.now i visit that place every week to buy fruits for enjoying my homemade smoothies

I love this place because I get fresh and healthy produce that I am not able to get from the produce store. And they seem cheaper than what they are sold for in the produce market.

This is an awesome market with huge selection and a focus on local food. Today was our first.time there and we'll be back.

Go earlier if you can, the selection tends to be better and fresher. Vendors can be found outdoors and inside. And there are also great places to eat at upstairs, including Caribbean, eastern european, pizza, apple fritters, and a couple of regular breakfast stalls.

Amazing produce, great options and the food is all delicious and affordable. City needs to keep investing in this.

This is a place to go if you want farm fresh products at very cheap price. The market is opened every Saturday.

You'll get some great deals on fresh fruits and vegetables, especially if you go a little later in the day. There is also an extensive meat and cheese area (inside), as well as a food court featuring ethnic foods (Romanian, Ukrainian, etc.) upstairs. Fans of "mici"/"mititei" or "chevaps" (Romanian/Serbian skinless sausages) can buy pre-mixed, pre-rolled sausages in the meat section, ready for the barbecue.

An excellent variety of vendors, with local farmers and resellers clearly labeled. They've done a great job with COVID safety, and make for an excellent weekend outing right downtown.

Complicated becouse all of all the construction around, but the wendors are plenty. The prices are inside a little high, the outside is OK

First time there last weekend. The prices were really reasonable and not to crowded. I will definitely be going back.

We cannot live without the produce from this place. You won't find better leafy greens anywhere. Also, they consistently have good quality yet relatively affordable avocados! I'm talking 3 delicious, ready-to-be-eaten-this-week avocados for $4 or $5! Try to look around the entire place before purchasing because the prices vary from week to week and it's not always with the same vendor. All in all, amazing market, I wish it was available year-round!

More like a grocery store in disguise. A lot of stands just sell the same produce you find in grocery stores from produce not even from Ontario. Prices might be cheaper if you buy in bulk but also probably because they are close to spoilage. Most bread stands are just mass produced bread by some company in toronto and the quality is very poor especially for the price (eg rye bread where rye is hardly used). There are some good stands that actually sell local products but most is a scam.

All signage states 7am.
Change the signage or open the doors. Venders need the foot traffic.

Fantastic local food! Great prices on the produce from the outside vendors, and many fantastic deals on meat inside. The upstairs restaurant market is fantastic, particularly the pupusa stand. The owner of the stand is wonderful and the pupusas are delicious, especially the pork and cheese.

Great selection and deals on fresh produce and other goods! I personally prefer the St Jacobs farmers market but I also like to support locally and the Kitchener market let's me do that. Overall a good place to visit whether you are looking to stalk up on produce or just looking for a nice outing with your family!

Now, it looks so cool! Unlike before the pandemic, there are few people that can be managed very well. I can shop faster.

The vendors are super friendly and the food is always extremely fresh and well priced. It’s the perfect Saturday morning tradition!

I always give a stop by for having a fresh coffee at Serrinia Café, to buy their beans for grinding and their flavored ground coffee to brew it at home.

I have been coming to this market for many years. I have noticed in the last year or so that there is a lull in traffic inside the market. Some very good vendors have left. They carried very healthy products. Left me disappointed. It would be good to advertise more on your web site. It barely shows anything. It would draw more new neighbours to the market and make it more unprofitable for the current vendors. One left because they weren't making enough at their stand and they sold all natural products. In my opinion, this is the best market in the area. Great selection and vendors are super friendly. It's best if you can take the ion or walk. Traffic get congested in the morning.

Always enjoy this place, lots of good deals. Parking can be an issue though. It would also be really helpful if city staff actually enforced the rule of no parking on the little lane beside the market, where vehicles aren't supposed to anyway (except for a few spots). Annyoing drivers tend to just station themselves there causing unnecessary congestion. I have even seen cars left parked in this area. Follow the rules people!

Great place for local meat and produce. Some non-local produce as well to supplement what is not grown nearby or in season. Better supply of produce than the St. Jacob's market in the Winter, with less crowds, parking more limited later in morning

Not as "organic" as i would like. Bit if a cluster when stepping outside but overall good selection from many venders

If you go here after 3 pm, they try to take you out with out any friendly word.the cleaning workers are very bad people.

If you love fresh vegetables and vibe of a living community, you should visit this place. In weekend, specially in saturday, this place is full with local people, music, fresh vegetables and fun. Parking is not an issue, as it has an underground parking. Entry and exit may take little bit extra time but don't worry, people of KW area is really nice. You will be astonished to see their respect and courtesy towards others driver on the road. So come and enjoy this beautiful market in any Saturday.

I have loved the market for years but prefer to get there around 8am on saturday to avoid the crowds and find parking

Kitchener Market, which had a working name of Cedar, will be a stop on the Ion rapid transit system in the Region of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. It will be located in the Cedar Hill neighbourhood at the intersection of Charles and Cedar streets, about 100 m south of its namesake, the Kitchener Farmer's Market.

Great deals on fruit and veggies. Can sometimes find organic products. Have to be careful sometimes as some of the produce can be near its expiry date. There are some great restaurants that serve a great variety of yummy foods on the top floor!

Best place to get fresh vegetables and fruits, only open on Saturdays between 7am - 2pm. You’ll get good bargains with the local farmers if you go a little towards the end time

A lot of great deals on fruits and vegetables, good selection on meats and delis. You can find apple cider here, honey, maple syrup, breads and pastries, eggs of various sizes white and brown, chocolate, cheese, fresh flowers, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Interesting restaurants available upstairs offering international cuisines. Free underground parking.
Super cheap deals on strawberries, blueberries, and tomatoes can be bought here.

Mostly you will find all seasonal fruits and vegetables. Prices are fairly reasonable. Only cash Allowed.

Wide variety of goods. Community feel on Saturdays. Love the buskers, and the atmosphere. If you're interested in purchasing local, keep an eye out for "My Pick" certified signage - this confirms that the vendor is selling goods directly from the farm they manage. Great food deals and variety. Parking is a challenge. If you want to save money on produce, this is your place!

We got nice bread, meat and cheese to make a sandwich. It was expensive compare to a grocery store, but quality and taste was great. And also, we had good experience. Vegetable and fruit are cheep!

Great location for me.close to home. Everyone is very friendly and I believe it feels like a country farmer market in the city.

What a refreshing market.lots of options, great prices, and very friendly merchants.they even have dog treats!
Dont miss out on the produce section on the lower floor, next to the main hall.
Bring cash, most booths dont accept debit/credit cards.
