I would have given these guys a zero-star rating if I could have! No one came up for the November 4th (Saturday) pick-up that was scheduled! First of all, they don't specify the time the driver is expected to arrive and get your belongings. The office is useless; all they provide is the driver's number, which begs the absurd question of why you should contact the driver directly, and the driver never picks up. If nothing else, I should be able to phone the office and have someone there take care of the required steps. Don't behave as though the driver works for me by telling me that I am the one who needs to get in touch with him. In addition to having to wait at home ALL DAY for a single call, the man didn't return our calls, and at 6 p.m, Denis, the driver, called and said, "The truck is full and they have to unload and it's too late now so tomorrow. " How come I never received a call informing me that the truck was full? Furthermore, he was impolite; he actually hung up the phone in the middle of our talk when we informed him that it would have been appropriate for him to have phoned earlier. When Sunday arrived, no one showed up to get the barrels. You may assume that, well, perhaps he would make it a point to visit on Sunday because he didn't show up on Saturday. False! Absolutely no communication from him was present. The driver contacted on Monday, stating that he would arrive on Tuesday due to his busy schedule. He said that he would call because he was in the neighbourhood when he was asked if he would be picking up the barrels that day over the phone. Barrels remained in place, and there was no text or contact.
He contacted on Wednesday, citing that he had received the incorrect number from the office. How could you have phoned on Saturday from the erroneous number? Why are you discussing only one number when two were provided to the office? In addition, he was expected to arrive before 2: 00 p.m. But didn't till 5: 00 p.m. After so many excuses. Even though I'm an understanding person, I would expect a text or call if something urgent came up instead of having to drop everything and wait for however long it was specified! I had a deadline that I wanted to meet for sending out the barrels, but no one could explain why it was moved forward by a week. If your service isn't up to par, at least hire courteous and competent drivers. Furthermore, the shipper information was meant to be updated on Thursday, November 2nd, someone in the office was expected to follow up to confirm the changes, but nobody did. Instead, the shipper's name was “altered” only on November 8th (same day the barrels were picked up), when a rude woman named Nichole phoned. Wrong again! She did absolutely nothing. They even sent off the barrels without making those changes. Given how long this company has been in business, you would assume that its members would become more modern! Definitely not! They're obviously back in the Stone Age, because how can someone make a reservation for the barrels over the phone on Monday, October 30th, and then call back on Thursday, November 2nd, to make a few minor modifications to the booking—that is, before the pickup date of Saturday, November 4th—and nobody makes any changes at all? I would never, ever recommend this company. Absolutely no decent client service ESPECIALLY from Nichole. If they are your last choice then use them, or if you have a different driver. You guys need to realize that we are paying for a service; nobody is pleading with us for it! Many others have told me about this firm and that they had positive experiences, but this is a HUGE letdown! A WHOLE JOKE.

I shipped a barrel with these people and they spelled the name of the receiver incorrectly, even though I spelt it out for them and they repeated it back to me correctly. Also I wrote the name on the barrel. I have been calling and emailing them to ask them to correct their mistake seeing customs in Barbados was going to charge me $200 for THEIR mistake. They told me that I would have to collect the barrel myself but customs doesn’t allow that. I’ve tried to get back in touch with them but their phone just goes straight to voicemail and no one is answering the emails neither.

I had a terrible experience with this company in December my barrel was sent to St. Vincent and sat there for over a week. Based on the previous comment I read it looks like this is a habit of theirs. When it finally arrived at it's destination it was damaged the paperwork was incomplete and lots of running around at their offices in the caribbean trying to get it sorted. Due to their neglience I had to pay storage fees for my barrel as the paperwork was not ready 2 weeks after the barrel arrived at its destination. The managers there are useless which is why I had to report them to BBB as well. I saw a review of someone else reporting them as well. I will never use this company for any shipping.

All the 5 star am pretty sure it’s from person who work for the company. They picked up my barrel dec 31st they claimed it was ship first week in Jan. I call and call asking when it will reach. Finally they said feb 10th. After reaching feb 10th no call until Feb 23rd only to let the recipient know they can come get it in March? Like what the jail is this? Hope am waiting to see the outcome and see if anything missing from this barrel. Because if o don’t get everything that was pack in that barrel that will be the end of this company. 4-6 weeks but it come like 2mths first and will be the last. No communication. No answer u always have to leave msg and it’s hard to contact them in Trinidad. And when u call Canada they making excuses and trying to tell me once it leave their warehouse I have to call trinidad. Just waiting to ensure all I put urs there otherwise it won’t be a good ending. Tell me how that make sense a barrel reach feb 10 and they asking u to come for the barrel March 6th? Why? To empty it? I hope everything is in this barrel.

Terrible 9 weeks and couple days waiting for one barrel and tried communicating in so many ways for my stuff but to no avail. See where my barrel was shipped to st Vincent (their fault) and I got back to Canada after a 6 week vacation only to be calling asking for the manager since January 20th he has not replied to one message or email I have left. Now it's left for better business bureau to handle this matter. I spent so much money preparing for Christmas and my family and I were left disappointed, no Christmas pajamas, no decorations on my tree it was a sad Christmas for us while I'm sure he had a good time with his family. Watch how my barrel was handled. Opened and had my stuff in an old dirty disgusting bin.

This business is amazing, easy location, just off the 401. Excellent Service, Fair Negotiations, On time Service to all Caribbean Destinations.

This company and the Kenny who say he is the manager is very rude.

I shipped a tv with them just 3 weeks ago tv get to the destination When open was broken. Call they advise me I signed to say if tv was damaged not there responsibility, which I didn’t sign nothing only thing they were concerned about Was charging $10 for email transfer. I then spoke to Kenny which this man just say his company in vincy advise nothing damage and he hang up the phone. I would say if u hv other options do not use this shipping company they are the worst if I can put no star I will

They did not contact there rep and also why would someone pick up there tv and damaged it also Kenny the rude and obnoxious manage just said it wasn’t damaged by him and his insurance do not covered. He did not let me say anything else he hang up on me if that how you ran a business I will see how long you keep customers.this is the worst person I ever spoken to in years of working in a business.he is very very rude and am sure am not the only person encounter this behaviour from a so call manager you need to go feed pigs on the rd side

This company picked up my 3 barrels destined for Port of Spain, Trinidad on December 11,2021 and as of today February 26,2022 no one can say when and if they'll ever arrive. All I've been getting are lies and more lies on the ETA. I was told that the shipment was in transit when it did not even leave the warehouse in Etobicoke. I've been shipping barrels for over 25 years and this has been the worst experience

The worst experience ever! 3 months ago, they picked up my 3 barrels all now I'm waiting. Every time I called, I am given lies and more lies. KLC where are my barrels?

Trying to ship a box and there are not set prices. I bought a Home Depot box with dimensions written on it well apparently it measured bigger and cost $10 more than I was quoted. The person on the phone was so flippant that the guys measured correctly and that was that. How does a box measure two inches more and it was not stuffed to cause it it expand!
So unimpressed with the service and lack of professionalism, being friendly does not equate to being professional

First things first, I've been shipping barrels ("Drop-off" and "Pick-up" at home) with this company for almost 20years, they have a trustworthy company. This place was busy (A symphony of organize chaos). Great pricing for Shipping Barrel, Corrugated Box/Gaylord on a Pallet, Wooden Crates and Shipping Containers Space.

Suggestion: The entrance can use a little decor concept update attention.

My mission was to upgrade from a barrel to a pallet with a Corrugated Box/Gaylord 40"x48"x48" (Industrial shipping strength). I also wanted to pack my breakable items myself on-site and in a secure place. I also needed a few weeks of moving items from my storage to the warehouse for packing (a deal breaker). So, I went by to see their warehouse operation and to buy a couple crates.

These guys have are customer solution driven business. Whatever I needed to organize my shipping was available with some limitations here and there. They even had a specialist who make custom crates on-site to fit the items i thought I had and quote me immediately on a custom size crate.

I have to give this business 4 stars. This is raw shipping solutions at work.

I spoke to the Owner regarding an incident and instead he listened to my concerns to the end, he cuts me off and started making excuses. The owner raised his voice in our conversation which I notified him about. He hung up on me and I called him back and asked if he hung up and he said yes. He started yelling again and and started to use profanities. His management skills is lacking greatly.

Everytime I take s shipment down. Keddy always help me remove my barrels. And Ken he's a great person to talk with and helps me with any questions I have.

My first contact with KLC Freight Lines Ltd occurred two weeks ago. My Lions District shipped Several Disaster Relief Barrels and other items to St. Vincent. The staff were very helpful during this time of crisis. Thanks goes out to these hard working men and women. #Kindnesdmatters

KLC employee Sana was extremely rude and condescending to me on the phone when inquiring about why my barrel was sent to the wrong country.

It is not the first time that KLC has compromised my shipment, a customer with them for the past 20 years.

They do not notify you of any problems with the shipment and then I'm at this point of time beginning to believe that the staff and the warehouse workers have some kind of a personal thing going on with customers that they may not particularly care to deal with.

My barrel was sealed with tape and when they came to my home to do the pick up, they placed a seal on my barrel. When my barrel finally reached its destination eleven weeks after pick up from my home and being sent to the wrong country, it was received with the seal removed and tape that I had put on, cut open.

I'm sure that the owner, KEN, of KLC is more than aware of these problems in his company, yet nothing has being done about the discourteous Customers Service provided by some members of staff at KLC in dealing with these matters.

It will be interesting to find out what happened to my barrel from pick up to delivery.

In 2018, I bought the excuse of my order being split in two shipments to the lack the increase in shipments and the availability of storage space. However I found no excuse of not being notified about the what was about to happen to me when I went to get my order. It was left to EHS to tell me that I wasn't gonna be picking up the exact amount that I had shipped because that was all they had received. Point to note, I wasn't the only one caught up in that mess.

I will be honest in stating that in my 20 years of shipping with them, I have only started having problems with my shipments over the last two years. Would I use them again? It all depends on what KEN has to say to me this time around about the entire situation. I don't want the offer of a free barrel shipment, I just want my shipment that I paid for to reach its destination just the way it left my home.

Over the years i hsve shipped with this company, nnothing but the BEST. Professionals. One thing though, get more workers and trucks around your peak seasons. You are not abke to return calls etc.and it ties up times. Overall i trust you guys.

Bunch of lazy mfs that work here, had 5 barrels and all the workers just stood around and didn't offer to help unload them.
