I am living in Barrie and don’t have a car, so I arrived very early to my MRI appointment and the receptionist was awesome and managed to bring me earlier. This is a great experience and I hope that they will be more tolerated and appreciated.

Quick, efficient, organized, well oiled machine. Staff is lovely and goes out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Clinic is very clean and a safe environment. Parking is plentiful and easily accessed. Clinic is on main floor right near entrance which was great when I took my father with dementia for an echocardiogram or both parents for my mother’s MRI (she has mobility issues) or for my own MRI with a knee injury. Absolutely love this clinic (Markham location) ; won’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend. Only down point is the ever call to book when requisition is received so weeks are wasted waiting when really your should call yourself. This one issue needs fixing, everything else is perfection.

Had my C spine MRI yesterday, and the whole experience was good. The only con is that the waiting time is a bit long.

I had appointment today for echocardiography, the technician did not know she had me and I had to ask if my appt got delayed, the receptionist asked the technician to take me in as there’s one more client to see… it was 15 mins delayed… the technician apologized as she did not know she had another patient;;; not only that… I do not know what she used to sanitize my skin before putting the patch, it scratched my skin (see my picture) and it is so painful now: (I don’t know if this is normal…… I will not go here again: (

I waited about 2 months to get an appointment and in last minute, they canceled it and gave me a time one month later.they didn’t say even sorry about it. One lady in the reception is too rude and angry and her behavior is not polite at all. I never go to this center at all. They do not respect to people’s time, money at all.

Not a happy experience. Took them 20 days to book me as an emergency MRI patient. I am wondering how long would that take if my referral wasn’t emergency! Although I completed all the forms and questions online I had to answer to repetitive questions at least 4 times from the time of booking to the end (not talking about covid screening) but I was never informed properly about the test and the time I need to be there! Took me 3 hrs there to get a test done! I have done multiple MRIs before and am completely aware of all the steps, moreover has been working as a healthcare professional for the past 20 years. This is inappropriate to assume that the patient has no knowledge and lie to them. I got there not knowing that I am going to have 1bottle of oral barium sulfate for the contrast and I have to waste one hour there before the test and when I mentioned that all the previous MRI/CTs I had with contrast was with injections I was given a very uneducated and irrelevant response by one of the receptionists with whom I didn’t even bother entering into an argument as it would waste more of my time! I was supposed to go back to work after my test which I couldn’t due to inefficient booking system. They should educate their staff about respecting patients’ time and inform them about the test and the time they need to be there.
Although the technician who performed the test was a very nice lady and did her job properly that’s an unfortunate to say that I don’t recommend this place until the other members of the team learn their job.

It is the worst experience I’ve ever had in healthcare system. They continue postponing your appointments to another day until you get disappointed!

Not a bad experience. My appointment was at 6. I filled out some paperwork and we finally started around 6.30. My advice: fill out the forms online before the appointment.
The technician was super nice and professional. His name was Kuch (I'm sure I got the spelling wrong lol). I'm a bit claustrophobic so doing MRIs is pretty much a nightmare for me. The technician was very kind and understanding. Thank you so much for reassuring me.
There's a big free parking lot, the office seems really clean. Well deserved 5 stars!

FOR THE READERS: EXPECT GOOD BEHAVIOUR MOST OF THE TIME 3/10 Times they are very awesome. They remind you for your appointments.they accommodate you. But Past two experiences were from being Rude to horrible. I went there three times in past week for my spine, shoulder and head MRI. First time front desk receptions was amazing and MRI Tech Noruoza is awesome She went through my documents that I fill in thoroughly to get the feel what I am in there for. Line by line. She saw me withing 2 minutes of arrival. Thank you front reception and Nouroza for your timely care and awesomeness. 2nd time the same reception was awesome but the MRI technician Mae saw me half hour late. I simply asked the question if she is running late and she got all offended. Took the paper from my hands, didn't ask anything and put me in MRI machine. She was rude but not RUDE.but definitely she didn't like me asking so she said there is 30 min wait time between appointment and the seat. Never once been told except this time by her. They should Tell you at the reception or making apportionment.
Third time yesterday was Quiet RDUE through and through.
First receptionist Vivienne awesome. Filled my paper work that takes literally 2 minutes. I am waiting outside. Second Receptionist comes so I ask her is there a reason why there is a wait when no one is ther. She LIED, looking at the screens he said there is someone inside with he Tech, I asked the name but the name was in Chinese and was hard to pronounce. Finally I went in and saw he is coming out of the room where supposedly someone he is doing MRI with.there was no one. I was surprised and ticked off. So i aske him curtly why was there a delay when there was no one int he MRI. He said He was having his dinner. I dont mind someone having their dinner as it is hard work. I explained to the guy I hve appointments too. Tech started arguing and becoming apprehensive. Aggressively snatched the paper and said practically started rushing me to the MRI. I asked him if he is going to read what I wrote. He said go to the table. Never asked any question to understand what I am there for. Didn't even take a look at the paper. Didn't bother to ask questions or read anything. Very aggressively he hands me the emergency button. In 15 minutes he was finished where he said it wwill take 30 minutes.and i was surprised. Then again aggressively he snatched the emergency button form my hands.then i explained to him how reception lied so he goes "HELATH CARE you are always LATE" then says "well we have other departments as well. She may not have known. When I asked him " really are you as a tech dealing with multiple scanning at the same allotted time? " another LIE.he started showing and giving me all these excuses for how the system is new and blah blah.on top of that being passive aggressive, does not give confidence to patients who are trusting these UNPROFESSIONAL individuals to handle a simple question without being rude or aggressive. He is too comfortable at the place where he is working. I will report this incident to OHIP.if i dont see an official apology from him. I don't have any confidence if the last two people truly did the MRI properly.
While leaving the place I told the LYIng receptionist, that there was no body in the MRI.she rudely yelled at me and said " I Didint know" If you dont know then dont LIE.tell them you dont know or let me see why is there a delay. I had to miss my appointment last night for the second time second time for the behaviour from RUDE individuals. They need training to talk to people who are worried sick of their lives when they come there. They are already anxious any rude behaviour will make things more unpleasant for all of us not just the patient. Good VIBEs and energy like the first experience was truly truly a blessing.

Unprofessional and rude front desk staff.

The lady booked my appointment 4 months ago based on my doctor's referral.
1 week before my appointment she called me and said we have booked your appointment on a national holiday by mistake! We must postpone it!

She booked my appointment based on my doctor's referral but she couldn't find my doctor's name and address,
Instead, she expected me to remember my doctor's unit No!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I waited for my MRI appointment for 5 MONTHS and they cancelled without any notification (no email or phone call). I live 30 mins away from this location and I only knew about the cancellation when I got there. The receptionist said it was cancelled by Sabrina, but she didn’t write why she cancelled. Waste of my time and gas. The receptionist rescheduled another appointment two days later, don’t know if they will cancel again…

RUSHED UP PROCEDURE
KMH feedback survey by Survey monkey was open for 2 days- I missed that email and their deadline (as it went to Junk) - so could not comment-
But I want to comment- as I was very displeased with their behaviour and service.
Starting with the appt- 16 SEP 2021- I was delayed due to construction work enroute by 5 MINUTES -!
The reception did their normal question/answer session- then asked I sign a form- which I wanted to read before signing- so she pushed me aside to read the same - (they do not normally expect patients reading any of their form- it appears).
She started with another patient-I read the form in a minute and waited for her to finish with her new patient. After she had finished that patient- I gave her the form and requested a copy- which she did give-
I was asked to sit down and wait- a couple of minute later the technician - KIM was her name - took me inside her cabin- her first sentence was "You are late so I have to rush through the process-
LATE BY 5 MINUTES- SO PROCESS HAD TO BE RUSHED -? UNACCEPTABLE! IS KMH RUNNING A GROCERY STORE THAT THEY HAVE TO RUSH AND THAT TOO FOR A MEDICAL PROCEDURE!
KIM proceeded with hectic speed- doing the procedure and giving instructions simultaneously- it was difficult to understand her instructions as I was concerned more with what she was doing- She had no patience to wait- I could not think of any questions in that rush rush situation-and had to call KMH next day to seek some clarifications on the procedure and its aftermath actions. It was a very unpleasant experience!
My mistake was that I should have just walked away from the KMH Lab office once KIM remarked that she had to rush the procedure as I was late (BY 5 MINUTES?)

Went their for my back. The tech was very nice. In and out in 1/2 hr. Took medication for claustrophobia which helped. Only had to wait a week for appointment

Their customer service needs much improvement. After mixing up my wife's appointment time, they went out of their way to point out the differences between 15 and 50 several times, because there is no way they could of made any mistakes. But they did try to accommodate her, along with a bunch of sighing and eye rolling, but with no estimation of how long she would have to wait. Ended up cancelling the appointment. Thanks again.

This place must be out of there mind. Early-August 2021 they receive my requisition and offered an appointment on December 26,2021. Any consideration would have seen a hint at suggesting going somewhere else. Instead of trusting their wait times, I found another place that gave me an appointment for mid-October 2021. This other place then advanced me to late-August 2021. Still no call back from KMH.

The MRI machine is pretty old and too small for any adult. She was trying to fit my shoulder in as soon as I get in I asked her to get me out I couldn’t breath with that stupid mask she just got mad at me. I’ve done MRI& CT scan in other places like Toronto general and women’s College hospital and It was fantastic. I’m not claustrophobic just the machine is stupid small. Don’t waste your time in 4am going there specifically if you have a big shoulder like me.

This clinic totally botched my first appointment which was a huge deal for me. They called me to admittedly say they made an error in my first procedure and did not capture the correct information. I travelled from downtown Toronto to Markham, I am extremely claustrophobic and had to take a sedative and get a driver. All for nothing! I would never go back to this clinic.

I had a wonderful experience at KMH Cardiology Centre today when I went for an MRI. The staff are very professional and compassionate. A special thank you to Alice, Lourdes and Vicky for making me feel so comfortable.

This morning at 8am i had MRI appointment and my technician was Alice. She was the nicest, kindest and most professional technicians that i ever met. She made my MRI experience easier than usual.

For getting your MRIs and diagnostic screening, this is fine, but there is a lot that can be said about poor customer service and building design that was frustrating about my experience. Poor signs on either side of the building for entrance, problems with the buzzer system, and staff who were not easy to speak with about these issues. End of the day, the MRI and facilities are good and if you need to get tested then go for it, but things can always be better.

Great staff. I went there for stress test. I was welcomed by very welcoming receptionist. I was then introduced to Donna for cardiolite exercise test. Amazing lady. Very professional and polite. I was then put on exercise machine and seen by technician and the doctor. Both very helpful and very professional. I highly recommend this center. Keep it up

I've been there twice. Second time was really great. The Radiologist (Alice) made me feel comfortable as I have claustrophobia. Alice is very kind and professional. I got my result in less than 20 hours. Highly recommended.

I called for an appointment at 4pm and the receptionist lady pushed back my schedule at 415pm without any confirmation. Then I have to wait for another 15 minutes to pass an MRI test. That made me wait for 30 minutes of time wasting my life at KMH. KMH may not be aware about this but people - aka clients - have their lifes, have something to move on with their life. Be considerate. This is very unprofessional. If there's 'a quarter star' in this review, I'll give them that rank.

I found the receptionist was very rude! People buzzed to come in and the didn’t quite get how to open the door! The receptionist had to get up and open the door for the them but not before she called them stupid! I was taken aback that this girl said that in front of another person waiting in the reception area!

I've been there twice. Both times were great. They were fast, kind and professional. I've had a lot of MRIs at hospitals and KMH is much better. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the waiting room outside the MRI is a bit shabby - nothing to complain about, just not a 5 star experience.

Place is a nightmare. Booked me at 2am, staff was extremely rude (tall MRI technician). Attitude the entire time, at the end they told me that my MRI scans were all blurry and probably useless. When I asked for copy’s they weren’t cooperative. I’d probably get better images if I stuck myself in a microwave, clicked “popcorn” and used my iphones self timer to take a picture (guaranteed a better experience as well). Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

Major scheduling issues. Was told my appointment was moved up to tomorrow, and then it was back to its original date. Not good for my health. Had chest pains just from the experience.

We had an MRI appointment at 3 in the morning, and right when my wife was in the machine the doctor said machine DOESN'T WORK.
It's simple to check if your machine works or not before someones appointment and let them know.
If there was - 2 stars i would've given it
