Knit-O-Matic

I finished knitting the garter scarf wrappy a few weeks ago. I love it! It is my favourite wrap, the colours are lovely & wool is soft and cosy. So, I decided to knit another wrap in different colours!

I'm a beginner knitter and the staff was very helpful giving me the resources and help that I required to get started. I'm looking forward to the in-person tutorials that are offered.

Beginner knitting class is WAY over priced compared to the value of the lesson.maybe lower the price a bit? Nice atmosphere.

Great customer service! I ordered the wrong sized needles for a project on line. When I alerted Knit-O-Matic, they updated my order with the correct needles but also made other suggestions which I greatly appreciated as I'm a beginner knitter. They updated my order and emailed me when it was ready for pick up; it was there when I arrived. No fuss at all. Thanks!

Knit-o-Matic is a beautiful and well curated yarn shop. I took a Please Teach Me class here and am already planning on returning for more. I received amazing one on one instruction and left with all of my questions answered and more. The staff are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the store is stocked with any knitting supplies you might need. Such a cute in house birdie too! <3

Terrific neighbourhood yarn store. Whenever I want to start a knitting or crochet project I head to Knitomatic. I always get great advice to help me choose the perfect thing. Well stocked shop that you can rely on to take care of your knitting and crochet needs. This is a very nice store and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have had a great experience each time I have shopped there. A good selection of yarns and needles/tools, etc. I will be back.

My favourite spot for everything knitting. Having no knitting experience I was able to knit a snazzy scarf with the expertise of their lovely staff and their one on one class. I was very impressed by their customer service and quality of wool and tools. Thanks for everything:)

I love Knit-O-Matic. Haley has individual needles for my interchangeable set which is a godsend as one needle, in mid-project, broke. I picked up the new needles the same day which she had held for me at the cash. Her wool is high quality and the selection, for a small store, is impressive. Thank you Haley!

I was very happy to see that Knitomatic had everything in stock that I was looking for, and that it is Canadian. My order arrived on time and everything was just as I had hoped. Well done.

Just getting back into knitting/crocheting and I'm so happy to have found knit-o-matic! The store has such a welcoming/comforting atmosphere, the people are so helpful, and they have a great selection of yarns, hooks, and needles. So grateful to have such a lovely spot in my neighbourhood

It was a good experience! I learned a few things I didn't know. I would suggest for a lesson, a 'LIGHT' be placed on the table, as it's hard to see when knitting & reading the instructions. Larger print would be helpful too. A positive experience! Thank you Haley for your patience!

I'm so grateful to have this lovely little shop in my neighbourhood. Whether I am shopping in person, online or popping in to pick up an order, I've always had a pleasant experience. Staff are kind and helpful without ever being pushy. The selection of products is not huge, but is incredibly well-curated with plenty of beautiful high quality yarns and supplies available. And as a bonus, sometimes you'll be lucky enough to catch the owner and her lovely little bird when you pop into the store, which certainly always brightens my day.
