This does not look like the chain in India.it was no where near their menu and quality. Its more like independent join to serve steaks.

Went after long time with family and this place never disappoints. Owner takes personal care of customers. Food was delicious and fresh. Each one of us enjoyed the dish ordered.

Awesome food. And even better staff and service. Best options for Veg and they serve really good chocolate brownies as well.

Fantastic food, from the starters to the steaks! The steaks were all Halal and we were a group of 20 people. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

We ordered mix grilled sizzlers steak came out uncooked, fatty and chewy and even chicken pieces were also too dry and uncooked, looked like they gave day old steak and chicken. This was one of our favourite restaurant but not anymore very disappointed, we came all the way from markham. Even after complaining, the waiter didn't bother to offer a discount on the bill or gave any kind of credit.

Loved this small but vibrant place. The servers were very courteous. Loved the Chicken and Seafood Shashlik. Recommended.

I just came back from the restaurant. Nothing is fresh here. The meat is certainly not fresh/atleast not handled properly. What they call as a bed of vegetables is canned vegetables. $25 for a stale tastin/smelling chicken, on a bed of bland canned vegetables is not fair. But the waiters are really nice, friendly -hence a star. Sorry I have no reason to comeback or recommend.

Tried this place for the first time, and i was not disappointed. Good authentic food! I ordered the prawns shashlik with fried rice & mushroom sauce option with a side of mash. The schezwan sauce is the bomb! Has a good kick to it their sizzling brownie for dessert is good. Not over powering in sweetness. Just perfect. Must try… will go back again!

Our Waiter "Abi" has been very kind, helpful and relatable to our family today, as well as several of the other waiters in the restaurant.

The restaurant is my mom's favourite and the food is amazing and interactive.

My family and I visited this restaurant as we were looking for some good sizzlers. The ambience did not impress us much and we were very skeptical about the food. However, our server Aashad made our visit worth remembering by his pleasing demeanor. We had ordered veg cutlet sizzler, Hokkaido chicken sizzler, chicken lollipop, chicken hakka noodles and the Kobe special sizzling brownie. All the dishes were very good and the presentation of our dessert added a special touch to our experience. We will positively visit them again!

We had a very interestingly bad experience here. Please note the sizzler was HALF the quantity of that served in India. We shared that between two people and none of us was full after eating that portion. I think the restaurant should really get their pricing, quantity and customer experience checked.

I have been eating at Kobe sizzlers in Bombay since 20 years. I mentioned that to the waitress before ordering so she knew that I was a loyal customer. Anyway, we ordered our standard order - paneer shashlik sizzler ($23) with an extra veg cutlet in the sizzler. We were told that we would be charged the same price for an extra veg cutlet on a sizzler as that of an appetizer listed on the menu for $11 as ‘veg cutlet with French fries’. So I pointed out that I just wanted the cutlet and not the fries since the sizzler already comes with fries so it doesn't make sense to charge $11. In response to that I was told that the price would remain the same but she gave me an option to order a veg sizzler instead and add 5 paneer cubes to it at an added charge of $6. So I went ahead with that and requested her to not add certain veggies that we don’t eat to the sizzler. About 5 minutes later, all of us seated in the restaurant started to hear some intense arguing from the kitchen between the person who took our order and another person (probably the owner or the chef) ABOUT our order.

There was pin drop silence in the restaurant and it became awkward for everyone seated. Especially for us because we could hear them arguing about the order that we had placed. Now, when you come for a meal this is not the experience you expect to have for the price they charge. After all of this there was no apology to us or anyone in the restaurant when they served our food.

Now let’s talk about some numbers here and let’s remember that in no way am I comparing India prices to toronto because they can never be priced the same. Just notice the percentage changes though.

India price of the paneer shashlik sizzler - Rs 1210 ($20)
Toronto price of the same sizzler - $23
15% increase in price in Toronto

India price of veg cutlet with chips - Rs 210 ($3.5)
Toronto price of veg cutlet with chips - $11
214% price increase in Toronto

India price of an extra cutlet = Rs 51 ($0.85)
Toronto price of the extra cutlet = $11
1000% increase in price in Toronto

The sizzler price in Toronto is up by 25%, veg cutlet with fries is up by 214%, HOWEVER the price of the extra cutlet on a sizzler is up by 1000%. TEN times the amount.

I think they forgot to realize that an extra cutlet on a sizzler is different from a veg cutlet with fries. (Please check with Kobe sizzler India for verification if you are unsure). The price of an extra cutlet on a sizzler is missing from the menu in Toronto. I hope you understand that and rectify that gap. If you are pricing a sizzler at a 25% increase and an extra cutlet on a sizzler at the same price as the appetizer when they are not the same thing at a 1000% increase I’m really not sure how that makes any sense. The extra cutlet would be 48% of the cost of a whole sizzler of $23.

The sizzler tasted like the one in India though so that was the only plus. However the customer service, customer experience, attitude as again shown in the reply to this review, quantity of food & pricing was sub standard.

Catering to the request of removing veggies is the bare minimum. It is not something to feel proud about or the symbol of impeccable service. Making random claims that the cutlet is 1.5 times bigger when I have eaten at your establishment and seen that the sizzler itself is half the size is unfortunately not going to work.

Very appetizing food. The Kobe Hokkaido chicken sizzler is really good and something I would recommend along with the chicken lollipop. The fried rice reminds me of Indian street food style.
Topped it off with a mouth watering sizzling brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream made the meal memorable.

We ordered vegetarian sizzlers with paneer Shaslik and schezwaan sauce and sizzling brownies. We also ordered veg Hakka noddles and manchaow soup. A great place for Chinese food. The only thing which I would suggest is the portions of food served. I found the quantity smaller for the price paid.

First time i went there with my wife to eat the dinner. Wow what's a great food. I really enjoy the food and so delicious. Service is wonderful.

The restaurant is defined by quality and consistency. For all the times my friends, family and I have been there, it's always given us good food and a pleasant evening. Their steak sandwich with black pepper sauce is to die for! A must visit for people who of course love sizzlers but also wanna experience many other options of simply delectable food.

Love this place since last 5 years now. Food is amazing! Staff is friendly as well BUT wait times even on weekday at 6: 30pm is 50mins? (Order didn't even had sizzler, small order with burger) No one answers phone for take out and online order website is broken. We had to pass looking at wait time this time.not sure if it's after moth of pandemic but other food business are picking up so had my food within 10mins of ordering at place next to this one. Pandemic is hopefully behind us so hope things pick up for this place too and hopefully they hire someone to speed up order.

Great food, great ambiance! I ordered the Chicken Satellite and my wife ordered the Fish Sizzlers and both of them were very good. The Chicken lollipop was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend trying the lollipop here. The service was nice and friendly. Overall a great place, will definitely go back here.

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE UNLESS you want to eat whatever leftover menu items they have left and MOST IMPORTANTLY only if you want to deal with an arrogant Owner/Manager who is there to argue with you instead of showing concern with your complaints. We went there yesterday in a big group and apparently all other tables were EMPTY! When we order soup, waiter went back to kitchen and came back with reply that they didn't have chef making soup, which followed by another disappointing response for our order of appetizers which apparently the ran out (BTW WHEN WE ENTERED THE RESTAURANT ALL THE TABLES WERE EMPTY). Then, we were put down for our order for salad that wasn't available. Finally, when we ordered main course we were asked to wait 1 hour as they took orders for other tables. When we tried to talk with Owner/manager We got nothing but disgustingly filthy response. I sincerely and humbly request manager to please not respond to my comment here as I still trying to digest your appalling response yesterday.

Please please please avoid this place if you can. We went in this evening for dinner and had to wait for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food to be delivered to our table. To add to this, the food was absolutely below standard and tasted horrendous. The vegetables were soggy and tasted sour which I’m super sure was because they were frozen veggies. Overall, I’m sure I’m never going back to Kobe Sizzlers ever again and I’d recommend everyone that values their time and appreciates value for money food to give this place a skip.

For the delightful sizzler served here and brownie delight as an dessert just makes deadly combination to savour.

An referral took us to this place and the experience was superb. Ordered soups, sizzler, rice flavours, noodles and brownies.

They have also undertaken interior’s renovation.

This is the worst place for sizzlers ever, the manager is mean and kept staring at my family as my son was crying and ended up making us feel uncomfortable all evening. The food is served cold and tasteless, the fries were hard and rubbery and the steak I ordered was bland. This is such a waste of our time and money. I would have given them 0 stars if that was an option here. Please respect your customers and don’t cheat them!

Waiting for more then 20 minutes to be attended, going at 8: 35 pm at store is a burden to the employees and the staff. There is no salad no soup or appetizer and only sizzlers are available because they want to make more money on the high cost dish. The hopes were high for Kobe restaurants, but the end was hopeless

Initially we come here and really excited to eat but we did not get soup in appetizer, salad and chilly cheese toast. Really disappointed with service also they said chef if not in today.
We have to wait for 1 hour to get food served.
Must check availability of menu before entering the restaurant.

I don’t understand why they keep menu they can’t serve including soups, salad or any appetizer! Do not understand this place at all! Of course Waiting is for 50 mins! Please check in with them if they are even serving menu items or not before coming in!

Amazing food. Excellent service, but as expected sizzlers took some time deliver. I would highly recommend the sizzlers. The szechuan sauce is superb.

Sizzlers, the name says it all but I want to go back and taste it many more times. And the amount of food is definitely a plus. One sizzler and a side dish is enough for 2. Had to pack some back home.
This is just the beginning.
I shall visit more.

The most pathetic restaurant ever.
Waited 45minutes for my food and received an absolutely cold sizzler…. I guess they dnt know the meaning of HOT AND SIZZLING. The manager needs more training he told me that he can only reheat and not replace because that will delay all the other orders. DISAPPOINTED

My husband and I had been waiting to try out sizzlers in Canada for a long time. We are glad we found Kobe sizzlers! The food was delicious. Brought back our India memories of sizzlers!

We had a great experience at Kobe's. The food made us feel very nostalgic. In spite of a busy evening at the restaurant, the servers gracefully took care of all the customers. Excellent service, tasty food, great mocktails, and a perfect dessert to end the meal called the Sizzling Brownie. This place is definitely a Go To. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

I'm not an unreasonable guy - and my other reviews would testify to that - so trust me when I say this: this place really sucks. At least it really did during my visit.

We were made to wait for over an hour for an overpriced, questionable fillet of meat. It didn't look right at all. The flavors, the ambience, the service - everything was spectacularly off the mark. The manager - although not rude - was highly frazzled and probably forgot that he is suppose to be kind and courteous to customers.

On a busy day - this place would top the charts for Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmares. I'm going to need a few weeks before I feel comfortable eating out again. For now, I'm just hoping I don't fall sick.

So we came across this restaurant by searching for Halal Sizzlers. Dining there turned out to be a pleasant experience. Our host and waitress were very attentive and checked if we needed anything frequently enough. We tried different sizzlers and we all enjoyed what we got. Our food didn't take long to be served. The quantities were plentiful and the food was sizzling. The place had nice music in the background but could use some updated decor that I think will be a great factor in their business blooming even more as everything else seems to be lined up really well. The seating was comfortable and the cleanness measures were good too, it just seemed a bit too dark for our taste. It's understandable that updates are not always easy with what restaurants had to go through for these past couple of years. We absolutely loved their sizzling brownie ice cream, it was devoured in a couple of minutes. Overall very nice experience and would likely visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The food was fantastic! If you miss chicken lollipop and sizzlers from
India, you must visit. The highlight was also the sizzling brownie. Fabulous job!

Really enjoyed dining in here. The waitstaff, Renee and Kelsey, were both excellent and super attentive and kind. The food was good too. Highly recommend the chicken lollipop. The schezuan sauce on the sizzlers was too spicy for me, but they were still good.

First time here but it seems like they have a good COVID protocol in place. The employee greeting everyone at the door seemed to have everything under control in that regard. I had a veal sizzler and the company I had ordered their own chicken sizzlers and one other person had a beef sizzler. I would highly recommend sticking to the chicken (which was actually quite good) as the other options were lacking any flavor whatsoever. Fried rice add-on was on point. I enjoyed the fried rice. The chicken lollipop was really tasty as well as an appetizer if you don't mind a little bite.

One other thing I was really surprised by was one of the waiters there walked by us just after we knocked a full glass of water on the table going everywhere. We flagged him down as he passed but waited probably another 5 min to get napkins. At one point one of us at the table thought maybe we should just go find some napkins ourselves. Maybe the waiter was new? Hopefully.

If I repeat it would definitely only be chicken. Was just hoping for more flavor from the pictures I saw online.

Decent option for halal steaks. I felt the sizzlers looked a bit unappetizing with all the toppings and sides, but the meal overall was cooked well and quite delicious. Good job. Had tried their lunch specials few months or so ago as well, decent items but I will prefer sticking to ordering the sizzlers.

The soup we ordered was terrible. The fried rice was not good as well. The sizzler was average. I found the over all quality of food has gone down drastically since it first opened. Sorry not coming back again.

Pathetic Service. We not only waited for an hour for our food but the owner so extremely rude when we asked about the update of our order. Never going to visit again. In such busy city with so many food options, customer service is extremely important to sustain. Just Terrible Experience

Probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The servers and host were incredibly rude and we waited over an hour in the store, and never got our order. Despite waiting over an hour the gentleman was very abrasive and rude and just forced us to leave without our order. Better be hungry than come to this place.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday with my friends. The beef steak satellite sizzler looked appealing so that's what I went with, along with the chicken pakoras as the appetizer. The food took a little while to come but it tasted really good. Got my steak medium-well but I might go with medium next time. The mashed potatoes, blanched vegetables and black pepper sauce went really well with the steak. Quantity was great as well. Apart from the wait time it was a great experience.

Went here for dinner first time and ordered Kobes Special Sizzler. We were in middle of eating and my partner noticed there was an insect in the spinach. I was shocked to see this. We informed the manager and he offered us a replacement or anything we would like. But after seeing this we did not want to eat anything here. Never going back again. Just keep an eye on your food while eating here.

Being originally from mumbai, I remember visiting the restaurant at thier andheri and bandra branch. Years have passed by but I still enjoyed their sizzler. Glad to know a local mumbai eatery has gone global

The schezwan sauce on any sizler is just amazing, its a little spicy and tangy but totally worth it. The best sizzles ever.

Would write a review but I’m still waiting on my food 55 minutes at the table; thankfully I got my Diet Coke after my first 30 minutes. Will update my experience if I ever get my food!

I've been a regular at Kobe back home in India since a very long time. I was fascinated to find out that there's only one outlet here in north America! I finally got a chance to dine here after 3 years. And I must say that the taste remains unparalleled and constant! Yes, the ingredients and their availability differs here but still it's extremely close to the food served in their restaurant in Mumbai. I loved it! Utterly satisfying! I can't wait to have it again. Most recommended items for vegetarians are Veg Shashlik, Veggie Burger and Paneer Shashlik.

Ordered the Kobe Special Chicken Sizzler and the Kobe Special Beef Sizzler. Saw good reviews and got duped into giving it a try, worst decision I've made in a while. Food was drenched in sauces (sauce recommended by the owner), couldn't differentiate the taste of the fries from the mashed potatoes from the chicken due to the overwhelming amount of sauces. Forced myself to eat it due to the staggering price I paid for it, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Food does not taste fresh. The sizzlers were drowned in sauce and were basically inedible. A lot of the reviews do not reflect the true quality of the food here, do not be misled by the 5 star reviews.

We ordered beef sizzlers and when explaining how cooked we liked out steak, the person talking to us about the menu kept referring to rare steaks as having "blood".

I would say a restaurant that serves steak should know the difference between blood and something called myoglobin.

As for the taste of the steaks, it was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the extremely high price.

That being said, we definitely enjoyed the brownie sizzler!

We are a huge sizzler fan & totally miss the Indianised spicy sizzlers from sometime. Did try at a few places but they were not on point. Got to know about @kobe.sizzlers opening in Mississauga/ Heartland & couldnt resist a visit.
Tried the all time favourite Chicken Shashlik with fried rice & garlic sauce, which was full of flavour, filled with lots of veggies and skewered chicken pieces with fries.
We also ordered The Chef Special Toridango chicken which is marinated fried chicken cutlets served with a slice of pineapple. We opted for the Pepper sauce, veggies & mashed potatoes.
Both the sizzler were excellent with the flavours hitting close to home.

The sizzlers are a great eat. We had some vegetarians in our group and the veggie sizzlers are also very yummy! Good friendly service.

Sizzler plates is just a huge a messy pile of vegetables and barely any meat. The Kobe chicken sizzler had 2 pieces of chicken that clearly wasnt seared on the bottom, a pile of mushy vegetables and rice stuck to the sizzle pan, all covered in some generic brown sauce that didnt taste like garlic or schezuan sauce. Cost $24+, not worth it at all! The sizzle plates they serve this on is just a gimmick.

Amazing sizzlers. After a long time we found such a good sizzlers in GTA. Service and staff is very nice and amazing. So many options. Fast service. Superb presentation. It's little bit costly but worth it.

The steak was good. It would have been great if there was a little less cabbage. Lots of cabbage! Lol.

Overpriced for ok food and ok atmosphere.
I bought 2 sizzlers one chicken and one beef they were around 26 ish dollars each. One good thing was quantity.overall the sauces were bland and not complementing the food well and also the vegetable choice could have been better. In the beef one the steak was not juicy but dry and also the steak size was small and low quality for the price. Some goods, customer service was superb and food arrived quickly also it had a nice drink menu but then again was pricy. But overall I will not be visiting this restaurant again as you don’t get much back for what you pay for.

Horrible service! Ordered a dessert post dinner and after waiting for 15-20 mins, a waitress comes n says “we forgot your order. Can you repeat what you ordered? ” Obviously infuriated we asked to cancel the order to which she unapologetically obliged and happily brought out the check. The restaurant lacks even basic courtesy to the customer

My wife & I happened to visit Kobe this afternoon. After reading some of the reviews we were justifiably a little tentative. Now I am wondering what these folks were talking about. We left it to the manager of the eatery to order his best steak for us and boy, were we in for a surprise! The steaks that arrived were delicately marinated & beautifully grilled with an accompaniment of delectable green beans & mushrooms in a thick, sumptuous sauce. And the service was prompt enough for us. I am from Mumbai, India and grew up on Kobe sizzlers. Didn’t see much of a difference in taste & quality between the 2 joints. Highly recommend Kobe MISSISSAUGA.

I have been to kobe few times, and my recent visit last weekend was great. We came for lunch and the restaurant was quiet at the beginning and people kept pouring in afterwards. The owner/manager is very informative, provides his insight on each item we would like to order and he made sure any dietary needs are met. We ordered the appetizers, my favorite is chilly cheese toast, it does not taste exactly like the ones I used to have in Bombay but their version is good too. We also ordered a chicken and vegetarian sizzlers, both the sizzlers tasted well, lots of vegetables, noodles/rice with the szechuan sauce. We finished our meal with brownie sizzler, which I believe is one of the best in town. I wouldn't mind just coming in for the brownie sizzler. Great restaurant, staff and ambiance, truly recommend this place.

The sizzlers and the chicken lollipop was amazing! Definitely need to try the house made hot sauce! But the best thing was the sizzling brownie with the vanila icecream! Totally blew my mind! Only downside is the price which is pretty steep considering the location/ambience!

It's the Indian version of a fajitas, less the tortillas. Full flavoured sauces, proteins were cooked perfectly, chicken had a grilled smokey flavour, fish was so plump and juicy! We shared 3 sizzlers for 4 adults. We went with a friend from Mumbai and he said it tastes just like the original opera restaurant. We had the chicken-pops appetizer, it was really tasty although the sauce on the side was a bit spicy for my wife. The brownie sizzler dessert was rich enough for us to share too. Would definitely go again.

Branch of Karachi kabeez by far the best BBQ in city. No better taste beats top bbq spots in Mississauga

The chicken sizzlers are good. The veg fried rice are amazing. But when I ordered the chicken burger. The meat was cold which means that it was not fresh. Otherwise customer service was excellent

I ordered their specultialty brownie and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived on a sizzling skillet with a hot fudge base and soft cool ice cream on top. I didnt get to try the food entrees this time but definitely will be going back to do so.

Got the beef steak and chicken with cheese sizzler. Was disappointed in the the taste of both the chicken and steak. Both were not done properly. The steak was completely over cooked. Got the garlic sauce with it and it was pretty good with the vegetables. But nothing that left me blown away. The owner was nice when I told him it was over cooked. But I don’t feel the cooking the steak properly would have solved the bland taste it had. Great service but the food was just too bland for me personally.
