Kobi Korean BBQ Restaurant

The staff was very rude and the restaurant was extremely dirty. Upon entering we were not greeted and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Wait staff had poor attitude and we felt rushed while placing our order, and was not helpful regarding menu items as it was our first time at the restaurant. We were seated at a dirty table and was told to hold on as we were to trying to place our orders because she wanted to receive payment from another table although she was assisting us with the menu first. Visited their other location and also had a poor experience there which is unfortunate because we would have like to patronize them.

I didn't expect highly but the food is better than expected. The price seems a little bit high at first but turns out to be reasonable because the portion is huge, especially the cheese dakgalbi and cold noodle. All the dishes are well-seasoned and complement each other well. They serve very quickly and diligently. A budget-friendly and authentic k-restaurant for all.

WOW… Best food and service ever!
I got the pork belly, beef short ribs, jjajanhmyeon, and tteokbokki. There were so many side dishes and complimentary stews.
I loved this place!

I would give it a 5 stars for service if the waiting time was quicker, but the restaurant was packed and there's only 3 workers, yet the food arrived quick after we sat down, and the servers are super polite and fast. The food are excellent, must try their marinated beef ribs and marinated pork… taste super good. If you don't mine chive and scallion have to try their seafood pancake. Price-wise I think it's a Fair price… other places in North York or Markham might charge more

We like the food but the place was cold during the winter month. They should install a better entrance door to block out the cold winds during the winter.

This is the best Korean BBQ place in GTA. Never get disappointed. Very good service and food. Strongly recommend anyone who wants to try Korean food. This is the Korean restaurant that Korean strongly recommend.

The staff is horrible here. Didn't know it was possible for staff to be nastier than the food, but you can experience that here!

Always great - my only issue is sometimes there is a long wait to be seated (15-25 min) but I can ignore that for everything else.

Super casual fare. Loved the no-fuss service as I wasn't out looking for a fine-dining experience. Portions were beyond fair, and the flavours of the SOUPS were the best I've had at any Korean restaurant in a while. The amount of the special rehydrated cabbage and the amount of soybean paste that went into the beef soup was SO proper. Hard to find that at other restaurants as other places always offer the same soup but it's always more watery and they'll only put a couple strands of cabbage.

Pork bone stew with potatoes was amazing. Portion for this was massive by the way.

Will definitely be back as this place has taken the top spot for Korean restaurants for me in the sq. 1 area.

It had been our first time to Kobi and the experience was lovely. The staff has been fast and efficient with getting our meal:) We had two different cuts of beef. They were both delicious

Loved the place it was a low key and subtle barbecue place where you can enjoy a good meal with your family and friends. The staff is always friendly and helps you with deciding what’s best for you to order as per your preference. The meat was fresh and I loved the sides we got with the meat they were delicious. They have dakgalbi with a twist where they give you melted cheese with it on the sides and I love it.
I would highly recommend visiting Kobi both Mississauga and Vaughan branches.

The family went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We had pork belly and beef belly bbq, beef ribeye, pajeon and cold noodles. There were sidings of peanuts, lettuce wrap, kimchi, seaweed, tofu, onions in soy sauce and steamed eggs. The food was delicious. Each one gets to cook the meat on the grill set on the table. Either you eat the grilled meat with rice or wrap in lettuce with some sidings. The exhaust must be really good since the smoke did not stick to the clothes. Even the kids enjoyed and loved the food. The service was fast.

Went there on Saturday night, full house, seemed busy. Service was fast, and side dishes were amazing. We ordered thin and thick pork belly for bbq, seafood tofu soup, and seafood pancake. Managed to finish all the dishes, the only negative about the experience was the portion of pork belly served, too small for $20, and the door was constantly open and we felt cold during the entire dining. Food selection was pretty limited. Will try other Korean restaurants next time.

Took 30 minutes to get our order. We were discussing walking out when it finally came. Food was average. If you're looking for Korean food, there are many better choices.

Food and service was good, we got the skirt steak. Floor everywhere was sticky and under the grill could have been much much cleaner.

Nice place, portions are very small for such a high price, and the only way for service is to hit a button, so anytime we needed water we had to demand it - not the greatest

The food was great, and decent portions. They give you a good amount of kimchi as well as 2 other complimentary side dishes. It is a little pricey for the quality of food and the restaurant itself looks a little sketchy/in rough shape. But overall a good experience.

Amazing service and amazing food! Comes with so many sides and most are unlimited. The steamed egg is sooo good I had to order a second one! Brought my mom here for the first time and she loved it!

Food quality is below average for a place that serves a la carte. Their meats came out brown probably due to oxidation from sitting in the fridge for too long. The cold noodles weren’t bad and their service is friendly but this isn’t a place I would return too!

Very nice food for a decent price! Even though prices may seem a bit expensive but lots of things such as rice, soup, steamed egg, kimchi, lettuce wraps and other korean banchans come with it as well! The kobi cold noodles are a must have, they go very well with the bbq! I would definitely come here again <3

Had a very good experience. Food was good and the price was reasonable. I think they had an adjusted menu due to Covid but it had all the basics.

My kids loved their marinated beef bbq and they had it with steamed rice. Everything else was spicy for them but they enjoyed this a lot.
Bbq comes with a few side dishes, steamed rice, steamed eggs, and soy bean paste stew (my personal favorite)

I came here with my friends on Tuesday night, the staff seems very rush when they have to talk to the customers. Food is ok, not the best, and it is pricey.

Very good restaurant, all food are so delicious. A Korean friend had taken us here last summer, and we never forget this restaurant. It’s great it has been open again and patio is nice.

The best Korean bbq I’ve had in Mississauga! Who knew this place existed? The staff are super nice, fast service and great food. Highly recommend the bbq with a tteobokki to start.

Better quality comparing to Richmond Hill Corean BBQ however its not all you can eat and its slightly $$$

Bad costumer service! Ordering takeout doesn't make you a costumer, we were not allow to use the bathroom because "is for costumers only"
