Kodak Lens Toronto Eyecare

This place is a scam. They will offer you all sort of warranties and will charge you 60 70 bucks for the same. And when you visit them for any problems with the glasses they give you excuses and will charge you again.

When i asked for the bill, these scammers charged me as dispensing fees.

First time there, it was a very nice experience!
Staff were very friendly and helpful to find the perfect glasses that could suit you.

It was a great experience with Dr Yau and Dr. Hameed. Dr Yau thoroughly examined my son's eyes and patiently explained the problem and prescribed correct glasses for him.
Earlier an optometrist from other store did wrong diagnosis and had prescribed a wrong glass which was causing stress to his eyes.
I am grateful that at Kodak Lens diagnosis was done properly and hope my son's eyes will not have further problem.

Dr. Hameed did a comprehensive examination of my eyes and happy that she explained me in details. I truly recommend Kodak Eye Care.

I had an eye exam with optometrist Dr. Mishra. She was great! Very knowledgeable, friendly, very efficient by getting straight to the point and was able to explain things in a way I could understand. I would definetly recommend her. Keep in mind she does talk very fast & doesn't do much small talk. Ideal for people who hate small talk & prefer to just get it done with. My eye exam lasted around 35 minutes. I'm glad that when I booked my appointment by phone that the receptionist notifed me that my vision may be blurry when looking at screens for around 1-2 hours afterwards.

Dr. Hamed was both knowledgeable and friendly. The team was well informed and conducted a thorough eye examination, adhering to all necessary procedures. It comes highly recommended by me! Cheers

Had the best experience in the Yonge st store. All staff are amazing and so helpful! I was dealing with Tate who was an absolute pleasure and so patient in helping me choose frames. I also dealt with Hermone when collecting my frames who was also a pleasure to deal with and ensured I was happy with the fit before leaving the store. Highly recommend this store for all your eye care needs. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I received a friendly and professional service. They showed me all relevant frames according to my description, explained me in details about the technicalities of the lenses offered and fixed for me a direct claim from my insurance.

I am highly impressed with the service they provide. The doctor is highly knowledgeable. Mr. Samrat was very professional and humble, he gave enough time for the frame selection and then explain all the lens options with all technical details. I am wearing glasses since childhood but no one educated me the way Mr. Samrat did. Both receptionists were really helpful with my insurance, sorry I didn’t get their name. But all the staff were really professional and know their stuff. I am definitely coming back.

I had some problems with my previous optometrist so I decided to try this place. I’m so happy that I did! Dr. Mishra is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and was able to pinpoint what was missing in my prescription almost immediately. 10/10 would recommend.

I found this eye centre by accident from their ad in the Toronto Star. I'm glad I did.excellent service throughout and a highly competent, caring and very friendly optometrist in Dr. Tse. Her staff is also dedicated and very helpful. And they also have a full line of frames which includes a moderately priced collection! This is now my go to eye centre and have recommended it to members of my family.

It was easy to get an appointment. Their service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The only reason I'm giving them four stars is for two reasons. 1. My first time there and I wasn't offered any discounts that FB has been showing. 2. I know it's part of their jobs, but I'm not a huge fan of having bright lights shone in my face because I've had Arch-Eye. Those who know what that is, it sucks. But I do recommend that people go check out the store. It's better than going to the big name stores that charge ridiculous prices.

Decided to come here to get my eyes checked two years ago cause of the student network and they're great. The optometrist was thorough and the staff was kind while helping me select a suitable frame+lens. Came here again last week and the experience was just as great.

I had been a client for Kodak center since 2018 at CenterPoint location. As I moved, I decide to transfer to this location as I enjoyed my experience at last place. It was a good decision
A nice eye center in downtown. The staffs are friendly and efficient. The optometrist giving the exam for me is careful and professional. The regular eye exam fee is 95$ and the glasses included frame is from 195$ up depending on your requirements and references which is a decent price for the quality you get.

I highly recommend Kodak center both here and at Centerpoint Mall.

Woah - one of the best doctors I've been to so far. She took time to really talk to me and understand my problem, and she explained to me really patiently and really clearly what she was doing. The place was clean and neat, and the staff was nice and friendly. But overall, the best part was the doctor - I didn't expect for a doctor to be that thorough, nice, and patient.

Great option for students! They made it really easy to book an appointment, and helped me to directly bill my health insurance plan that I get through my student union. Fast response time and professional staff as well.

Very clean location. We stumbled across this store after having our eye Te at don E.somewhere else and boy did we wish we had found this sooner.

Great options for glasses, the only area for opportunity was the associate who helped as at the end of the transaction seemed very distracted and didn’t really know what she was doing. I had to tell her multiple times which glasses needed what, but overall a good experience.

Best Eyecare by Dr. Tse. She truly cares and I always feel reassured after my annual checkup. She also referred me to a specialist which in my opinion is one of the best.

Dr rehka was super patient and cheery:) she went through all of my questions & concerns, explaining what each step was testing and specifically getting consent proceeding with dilating eye drops.she even ordered an extra box of trial contact lenses at no extra charge to test out different brands.the staff was able to do direct insurance billing and let me know how much was covered before i made any decisions about further testing and purchases.they cleaned and tightened my glasses without me even asking! Everyone was friendly and i would definitely recommend!

I've been coming to Kodak Lens for over 10 years and I've always had great service by the optometrists and staff. I am a regular at the Kodak Lens at Broadview and I recently came to the location at 364 Yonge Street. Dr. Mishra was incredibly welcoming and diligent when performing my eye exam. I will definitely be back!

I recently needed to book an eye appointment and when I called my Optometrist I found that she had retired. After reading the reviews of Kodak Lens I made an appointment and was not disappointed. Everyone was super friendly and professional and Dr. Rekha Mishra was very thorough in her examination. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I visited there place one week ago for the first time.there was a girl named Laura at Kodak lens assist me very nicely. I gave my rx and my insurance papers then she described everything very nicely.she showed me lots of their collection.they have very classical, fashionable and many kinds of collections, those are really really nice.specially I was really impressed by their customer services from Laura, Tate, and angelica.

The staff (except for the young lady who assisted me) and the management is very discriminatory towards people on social assistance. The way they nagged you by repeating the rules with that you are only entitled to such and such was very insulting, they probably think that if you’re on social assistance that you are incapable of comprehension. I will not go back to this place again

I had my eye exam at this place by one of the optometrists. I wasn't satisfied with the results and I knew the results were not accurate. The owner, Dr. Linda Tse, offered to re-do the exam. The second exam results were so different from the first results. So I'm happy that Dr. Tse kindly re-did the exam, however, it was a waste of time to visit their clinic twice over the Christmas holidays for a simple eye exam.

Honestly, the best place for all your optician/eye needs! I’ve been going to Kodak for years now & my first visit was an eye emergency! They are ALWAYS so accommodating & their communication with clients is above and beyond. With the pandemic currently, they are also taking all extra precautions to ensure the safety of those employed and their clients. My personal belief is to support local businesses within my home (Toronto) & to specifically support businesses that welcome everyone from the BIPOC & LGBTQ communities. Thank you everyone at Kodak for being awesome & always dealing with my indecisiveness as well! 10/10 would recommend.

Despite the great and welcoming service, no wait times, and overall pleasant experience, I was not given the IPD (interpupillary distance) in my prescription.

When I asked about this, got told that I will get the IPD only if I decide to buy glasses with them.

Since the whole point of the eye exam was to get a new pair of glasses (but not from Kodak Lens, since there they are quite expensive), I'm very upset.

Dr Linda Tse is wonderful - very knowledgeable, competent and iniredibly nice. The staff were friendly and helpful and the environment was fresh and welcoming. I would recommend Kodak Lens to anybody looking for a positive eye experience.

Fast and accurate eye checkups, with a very professional doctor! I've been with Kodak Lens for 1.5 years and order contact lenses and contact lens solution directly from them.
Never had any bad service, and never had to wait more than 3 business days for an order of lenses. They are professional, organized, and deserve their high rating!

I was seen quickly in a short notice by the optometrist and insurance was directly billed with the staff - the process was quick, easy and the location is very convenient for me as it's just a couple minutes walk from the subway

It was a very positive experience. The booking was quick, I was sent mindful emails with reminder to the exam as well as what to bring.
The doctor and staff were very friendly, receptive and helpful. They guided me through the steps, patiently answered all my queries and went far to listen and make recommendations so that my glasses fit.
The price for the lens and frames were broken down and very transparent. I don't know about the price elsewhere but I got 6 upgrades for $168 after promotions and insurance, which seems like a good deal.

Best customer service! The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and energetic. They took care of all the formalities of my health insurance/etc. Dr. Mishra was also very kind and clear about the tests. Highly recommend it.

Quick to communicate and book me in for an eye exam and contact lens prescription renewal. The front desk staff were courteous, the optometrist was young/friendly/pleasant, no wait times and the appointment went by fairly quickly. As a student, there was a discount applied (onto an already reasonable price) and this location was conveniently located nearby (central downtown) -overall the most economical option! Happy to have found this place, will be a return customer/patient and definitely recommend.

Je suis vraiment déçu du service à la clientèle de cette fille qui a répondu à mon appel, après avoir acheté des lunettes j'ai appelé pour avoir quelques conseils.la façon dont elle m'a répondu c'était horible elle ne devrait pas être à cette place, elle donne une mauvaise image de Kodak Lens. Elle m'a répondu très mal, elle est orgueilleuse, avec une impolitesse terrible. Elle ne devrait pas travailler avec des êtres humains je vous le dis. Par contre le reste de l'équipe est formidable j'en suis témoin. Elle ne dois pas prendre les clients pour des idiot, son impolitesse qu'elle garde ça pour elle même.

Kind staff, great doctor. They have reasonable prices, and quality people. The doctor really takes her time for the exam, and is there to answer all and any questions. The only thing they could improve is their assortment, I couldn’t really find glasses I liked as it’s a pretty limited assortment.
