I was an unhappy customer and he patiently straightened out my account.

Kooda &Telus Essa Road Barrie are awesome worker, expecially Sudhir, the have good manners and treats customers very well, they need to get better treat from company, because they really know their job and they are doing it very well with respect, thank you

I would give a zero if it was possible…

I was prepared to spend $500 on a new phone at this location and I patiently waited for the store rep to help another lady and after about 15 mins a friend of the store rep came in and then after another 15 mins, while the rep is still helping the lady, he asked me if he could service his friend ahead of me! This is what is wrong with customer service these days and a completely absurd way to deal with customers coming to give you money for something you offer!

When I was asked to let the friend go ahead of me, i said “Really, I’ve been waiting for 30mins now” and he said it’ll only take a few minutes…. I walked out!

I went to Telus today to get a new phone and had a great experience. I dealt with Sudhir, he was very friendly and knowledgeable! He worked with what I was looking for in terms of a new phone and got me a deal I was looking for! Overall would recommend and would go back and deal with Sudhir again! Thank you for your help today Sudhir!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I went in to change service providers, and they made the process very easy and manageable. Would recommend this store to anyone looking to switch to koodo

Went in to inquire about plans, Sammie switched my both lines to Telus, she was very kind, patient and knowledgeable about the products, we did not know Telus offers Smart home security, will definitely consider in future, we got tons of data, new devices and Online security and our bill went down, THANK YOU, Sammie you are wonderful, will definitely recommend.

Showed up at 1: 45pm to a store with lights off and doors locked. No sign in the window about being closed for lunch or anything.

I went there to change my phone number on my cell phone to my landline number so I could get rid of my landline. They told me it would take up to 5 business days. A month later it was not done. I went to the authorized telus/Koodo store in Parkplace and they rolled their eyes when I told them where I’d gone. If at all possible go to an authorized Telus/Koodo store. This store on Essa is not.

I arrived at 231pm on April 08th 2023.
I observed a sign saying “ will be back in 30 mins” I took a phone off the door with the sign at that moment.
I waited in my car and also beside the door until 3: 25pm
I called the store at 302pm and was unable to leave a message as the voicemail claimed it was full.

At 3: 30 pm I decided to leave as I had waited a total of one hour.

I received a call back from a woman at the store at 340 pm
Mentioning that I had called earlier and she was calling me back.
I explained to her that I had left after an hour of waiting and calling.
I asked her what time she got back and she rudely told me it was none of my business and she did not have to tell me anything.
I shared with her how very unprofessional and inappropriate her tone and answer was to me. She claimed that she had not been away for that long. Within that time period of waiting the hour I observed 6 people come to the door, wait around and then leave.
I asked her how long she was away from the store and she told me she doesn’t have to answer any of my question and hung up on me.
Staff who abuse their lunch breaks not only frustrate customers and waste their time but also impact the sales and image of the company. For an employee to raise their voice at a customer and speak disrespectfully towards them and hang up on them when being questioned about when they returned is not only irresponsible, unprofessional and inappropriate, but is also unacceptable and detrimental the rapport of the company. The lack of customer service and understanding on the part of the employee needs to be addressed. Perhaps some training in the area of following policies and procedures is needed, as well as professional interactions and behaviour management is needed.
I will also be following up with a formal letter to the store to rectify this promptly.

Broke my phone and was able to swing by the very next day and get hooked up with a brand new phone at a great deal including the device aftercare at a steal. Sammie was my sales rep and her service was 1000%. She made sure my experience was fun and engaging. I really enjoyed visiting this store and I recommended many friends to check you guys out! I just wanted to share my experience at this store with Sammie, she was wonderful in every way from start to end l have a cheaper price plan than l had before and l also received credits to spend in the store l am so happy l recommend this store to everyone.
