22 years of great service from Kooy brothers. In today and Daniel on the service desk, Tom the tech came out to give some excellent tips they are fantastic. They quickly serviced my saws went over some options and i was out within a hour. From my Kubota BX 22 yrs ago to my Stihl equipment they are on their game.
If there were staff to get customer awards this is the place to look!

I bought a nice new Stihl chainsaw the other day. Beautiful showroom with massive windows. Free coffee. Not from some cheap neglected machine. Free coffee from a large touch screen multi option vending machine.
Service was helpful. Great experience all around.

They helped me buy a Snow Making machine that allows me to blow snow into laneways. Then my business partner gets hired to clear the snow from the laneways. Win.win situation. Thanks Kooey

Large, bright, beautiful shop. I wandered the aisles for 20 minutes, however, no one approached me to see if I needed help.

Well organized parts department with a very large range of parts in stock.
The asian guy at the parts desk is very knowledgeable, helpful and reliable when it comes to finding parts for your machines.

We purchased a Toro snowblower in November and I was very pleased with the sales team in helping me choose the right model. We used it 2 times this past month and where amazingly satisfied with its performance. The third time we went to use it, started on the first try and ran for about ten minutes and shut down, we tried over and over to start it but no luck, so I called there service department and they asked me to bring it in but I had no way to transport it because of its size. They said we can pick it up and return it for $90 charge. I said that’s fine. When they picked it up within 10 minutes the driver called me back and said I found the problem, the fuel line knob was probably accidentally turned off so it wasn’t getting any fuel, he said he would be returning the machine in 15 minutes because nothing was wrong with it. The best part is there was no charge to us. I’m so grateful that there are companies out there that make customer service there number 1 priority. Thank you for your outstanding service, the world needs companies like you guys in our community. I would Definitely recommend Kooy Brothers.

I bought a Toro 1800 Power Curve electric blower a few weeks ago before the winter snow. Sorry for this late review. I have used it twice in the last couple of days and I LOVE it! It gets the job done nicely. It's got lots of power and it's quieter than my old 1800 Power Curve. The two sales people at the front desk were outstanding and I definitely got the feeling that my business is important to Kooy Brothers. Thank you all again!

I am a first time Kubota tractor owner and I'm very glad Kooy Bros is in Toronto. Their knowledge, advice, and service are fantastic, whether in-person or by phone. I'd rank them higher than any car, boat, or motorcycle dealer I've done business with for attitude and customer service.

Brought in a snow blower for repairs as it wouldn't start
A quick overview was done and was informed it would cost around $300 to repair
Decided to buy a new one and the $50 service fee would be waived
Stood in front of sales counter while four reps staired at their computers and chit chatted
Not egaterating 15 minutes
Finally got a new and left taking the old one as well
Decided to give the old snowblower to a buddy's kid as he likes to tincker around with things
My buddy called me back an hour later and informed me the 15 year old had the unit ru nine running with no extra costs
Anyways that was 2 years ago a d snowblower is still working great

Was recommended by a couple coworkers to buy some products here. Stood there for 30 mins. No one greeted me or asked if i needed any help. While others who came after me were helped/greeted right away. Maybe they didnt see my BRIGHT yellow work jacket.so i left. Will take my business elsewhere

I work at another Dealer Ship that deals in SnowEx parts from Kooy. It's extremely refreshing dealing with their parts department! Never experienced such amazing customer service. My sthil concrete saw that I purchased new ended up blowing up within the first three days of purchase… under warranty it was covered but, I was handed a lender saw with no questions asked after asking for one.shout out to Cameron & Alana:)

After an unpleasant experience at my local dealership in Sudbury I decided to look elsewhere for Kubota excavator parts. From my first call I knew this was the right place to work with. Jonce in the parts department has been amazing to deal with with prompt and accurate customer service. He got me pricing within 30 minutes of my call when the other place was taking over a week. The price was even better too offsetting the cost of the 4 hour drive down to get the parts. I will definitely be back again!

Purchased an ECHO lawn mower in 2020. Spent about $800. Worked fine the first summer but didn't work the second summer (I kept the battery indoors during the winter as recommended). Brought the mower to the store and they didn't try it out but just gave me a new battery. Went home and it still didn't work. Returned to the store and they told me to leave everything with them. A week later they called me to pick it up and told me that it was working fine. Brought it home and it kept stalling during operation. Went back to the store and the saga continued. Got fed up with their service and the product and sold everything on Kijiji for $200. That was my experience with Kooy Brothers and with ECHO lawn mowers.

I brought in my weed Wacker to be re strung a staff member took it and serviced it immediately. I was very pleased with the quality of service. I will return in the future

Less than a year ago I bought a Toro recycler 22" lawnmower. I used approximately 8 times last year and always store it in a flat storage room. I noticed some oil was leaking from the side of the engine by the end of the season last year and I had to pull it like 6 times before it actually struggled and start.
I didn't have any transportation to bring it back to Kooy Brothers location on Wilson Avenue, so a few weeks ago I got a vehicle iand decided to take it in to have look, I had to lean it on it's side in order for it to fit so some oil did leak but this wasn't the initial issue. After a week they never called me, so I decided to call them, they said I have to pay $140.00 for service in order for the mower to work properly or take it back as is. I thought buying a Toro lawnmower with a Honda Engine would last a while before actually servicing will be required. Nine years ago I bought a Toro lawnmower with a Briggs and Stratton Engine from Home Depot in the Box. I assembled it, and followed the instructions in the manual and would you believe it still start with the first pull no issues after 9 years.
I may be small customer but I will never ever going to purchase any other equipment from them. I will not recommend them to any one.
You're better off making a purchase from Home Depot or Lowe's.

I picked up a Stihl MS250 here this February, and purchase/pick-up was seamless, of course. However, day 3 of working with the saw was truncated when the starter cord broke, which was disappointing and a surprise to both me and my arborist. I was playing a supporting role for my arborist with his Husqvarna, so it wasn't a heavy use day for my new saw - understanding the compression is a bit high for a new one, I haven't had the cord break on my inherited 024.ever in 10 years. So, it's a pain given I was in the bush. When I came back to Kooy's for replacement - cha-ching! Or, sure we'll replace it, but that's your first and only warrantee mulligan, so when something serious happens, you're on your own - in which case, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Trust is hard to earn, and pretty easy to lose, as is the case here.

Well, slander is a strong word, so I hereby apologize wholeheartedly for unrealistically expecting the starter-cord on my new chainsaw to last for 3 full days of field work. /s

Yes, the repair was free, after presenting my wife with the bill and then kindly backing down when I intervened for her on the phone (and I defer to your warranty coverage expertise, but 3 days?). I think we can all learn something here.

Always noticed the building from the HWY and as luck would have it needed their service dept one day. Went in and was amazed; clean, organized, just a great experience. Alana was a major part of that interaction as she kept me informed and helped along the way. Slightly more than I initially expected to pay but after realized they were spot on, You pay to play!

My father who was the manager at a cemetery near by loved this place he knew he could always count on all the people who worked here for any and all inquirings. I have been here as well for somethings and it has been friendly, clean, and inviting the staff is always respectful, knowledgeable great place.

The service department is very bad at communicating. Every machine we purchased has been delivered without a pdi and riddled with problems. They do not stand behind the equipment they sell. The accounting team sends eroneous bills and then is belligerent and argumentative when trying to resolve. Joel in sales is the only employee there who cares about his clients. Find any other dealer and avoid at all costs.

Great selection on yard maintenance equipment. I had an issue with my lawnmower so I called into the service department and was advised to bring it in. I was greeted right away by Alannah who really helped me with my repair and advised me of how to prevent my issue from happening again which was very helpful. Truly great service I'm very happy with my experience. I will definitely be back to kooys for servicing all my equipment and purchasing new machines.

Bought my first lawn mower there and received a good service when I was picking up the lawn mower.

They definitely have there store running very professional. I was addressed the minute I walked into store and was taken care of promptly. Was there to pickup a ms170 chainsaw and case and was out the door in 15mins. Wow. Great job guys and gals. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Kooy brothers is definitely the place to shop,
The staff is courteous and knowledgeable.
The location is a bit out of the way for me, but well worth the trip.
Service of this kind is hard to find these days.
If your looking for gardening or construction machinery kooys is the place to go.

I had to edit my review after my last visit.
I had some issues with my plow on a day it snowed. They fixed my problem within an hour!
Also I'd like to add that they do appreciate and care about loyal customers.
My company is trusting them for the past two decades and they always lived up to their name!
I want to personally thank Bill and Will for my last visit.

I give this place 5-stars for never letting me down. I walk over to the counter at the very back and have never waited more than 20 seconds before someone asks me if I need help or that they will be right with me as soon as they hang up the phone. The staff at the back in the loading area are also fast and courteous. This is why I tell my company to send me here to buy Kubota parts because I know I will be out fast, and the location is better than other Kubota dealers, this one is steps away from the 401 Highway. The only downside is that the loading area at the back is too crowded and tight.

Shopped around for a new Kubota tractor. Len took care of me. Best price and amazing customer service. You now have my business for life. Talk to Len Janse if you are serious about purchasing a new tractor. He knows his product and will go above and beyond.

The sales rep and customer services is great but the QUALITY CONTROL NEED TO BE MORE OVERSEEING its ashamed to have to correct or return your vehicle to redo the same fault.

Purchased a snowblower, they were kind enough to arrange a delivery that went extremely smoothly, and a thorough explanation of the machine was given at time of drop off. Excellent customer service!

Bad experience for me. I was trying to get the best deal on a replacement engine for my lawn mower. After contacting 4 suppliers and getting quotes between 254 and 275, I called Kooy Brothers - their quote was almost double the others - $500. Not a fair price for the exact same engine from the same manufacturer.

Amir was very knowledgeable and helpful. Explained everything in detail about the plow options for my truck.

They have everything you could want in machinery, but a tough location to get to, get into and navigate around the property with a truck and 53 foot trailer because the lot is so full

Purchase all my landscaping equipment here the staff is mostly great. Upset about some of the quality of equipment and the fact that I have to keep.coming back here to get the issues fixed as there are many!

Very impressed and happy with the parts lady Melissa. Not only did she take her time to explain to me what I needed for my purchase however she did it with such drive and passion. I went to Kooy Brothers because of their ads on 680 news. Not only do they do commercial equipment, they also sell snowblowers and lawn mowers for residential use. The salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. They didn't have the snowblower that I wanted, but he took my name and number. When I went to pick it up it was raining and he helped me load it into my car in the rain. Overall, a good experience. Look for the big Kubota sign, when going westbound on Wilson Avenue. It's hard to see when going eastbound. If you miss it, turn around: it's worth the effort.

The whole team at Kooy Brothers are professional, and understand the needs and wants from their clients. Melissa (and her team) have always been prompt at responding to inquiries, phone calls, etc etc.
The Starbucks coffee machine is a nice addition as well.

We recently had one of our tracks break on our Kubota carrier. John in service was extremely helpful and had a mobile mechanic there right away to fix our machine and get us back up and running. Thank you Kooy.

I have been going to Kooy Brothers for a few years. Im an Arborist and I like to buy some of my equipment from them as there are never any hassles. If somethings wrong they fix it. This place is well staffed and everyone is eager to help, and I mean everyone. Yesterday I came in for a chainsaw fix and a couple of parts for another saw. Every single person at parts and service asked me if i was being helped! Ryan in service told me my saw would be a week for repair as they are super busy, when I said Id have to buy another large saw because I couldn't wait a week, he went in the back, asked the tech to have a quick look, adjusted the idle and he gave it back to me fixed inside of 5 minutes!
Ryan was exceptional and did it all with a smile on his face. I ended up buying another climbing saw while there and will continue to service and purchase any equipment I need from them. Well Done!
