Kops Records

Will definitely be a go-to vinyl record store. I was very impressed with the wide selection of genres! To top it off the customer service was amazing. Kristen and her coworkers were so patient, knowledgeable and warm. They took the time to get to know my music taste, provided great recommendations and answered my plethora of questions. Highly recommend this place!

One of my favourite record stores both Toronto locations. Great prices if you take the time to dig through the racks. Pretty good jazz and blues sections. Last time I went I spent 23$ and got 7 records, two of them double albums, rare stuff too.

We are visitors from Denmark, and we randomly found Kops Records during our walk. We were pleasant surprised. We got the best service from each and everyone, and of course - they had all the vinyls that we were missing in life. We have been going here everyday since we arrived and bought tons of vinyls. Thank you so much for always being kind and making us feel at home.

Good vibe, friendly staff. Prices were decent for singles but some albums were a bit pricey. They took away the record listening stations so if you plan on going digging you had better either know your stuff or bring your phone!

Really aesthetic record shop. Didn’t have too much time to look around but they seemed to have a wide variety of options and a whole lot of genres. A little pricey but tbh that’s what it has come to for records.

Will be back to buy Christmas gifts for my brother!

Prefer buying my vinyl at the Queen and Danforth stores over anywhere else right now. Helpful, good selection and a little cheaper than the monster on Spadina.

Hadn't initially planned on stopping in. That would've been a mistake. I've purchased from Kops online, so it's nice to actually visit the brick and mortar. Good selection, decent prices. Too bad I just missed getting to see the larger used section in the basement. Hope to make it back on another day while I'm in Toronto.

Update: Made it back. And the basement was amazing. Great stock of used reggae and other world music records. Staff was friendly and willing to answer an array of questions from their grading to stock at the other two Kops locations. Hard to not overspend.

I've purchased from them online before but Yesterday was the first time I've been in store. Great selection and super friendly staff. I even found an absolute gem of a record.

Kops (Queen St) is a fun little record shop that always had vinyl spinning and great selection (that is fueled by local and regional supply via walk-ins and it's Danforth location). Good new and used prices and central location! Even got some of my holy grail records there! Check it out!

Always great how nice and helpful the staff are! I hear they're expanding their selection soon too!

This place has a great variety of records ranging from brand new music to reissues to used records-while I happily picked up a few new LPs, the scavenger hunt of going through the used records was both a lot of fun and rewarding-I found two classics at a great deal!

I’m going to make it short and sweet. In Grumpy’s opinion, #1 record store in Toronto, good service, fair prices but still miss the Bloor and Bathurst store. #2, Sonic Boom.

Excellent selection, service and quality! I've made a handful of online orders through the Kops website and have been impressed every time! You guys deserve an applause for being so communicative through the whole process. The high quality of the used vintage vinyl is worth noting and with the constant additions on the website, keeps me coming back for more: D.

Also thank you for your help in transferring a "Kollectible" from Oshawa. One day we'll make it out to one of the physical locations for the full experience:)

Very wide selections of records and reasonable price. Best place to look for records for vinyl lovers.

New location, much easier to navigate inside. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great selection of records, still a bit pricier compared to other shops.

Nice spot. But I prefer the Kops on Danforth. Even the one in Oshawa. They both just seem to have more of a selection than this location.

Phenomenal, the selection of vinyls I saw here were insane, Got my Flower Boy vinyl today here, the people were great too and would definitely go again Thank You, Kops:)

There is just so much good music here. The stock is always full and refreshed, the staff care, and it’s got a chill, unpretentious vibe. (And I have to add as an aside, because clearly some others don’t know, the plural of vinyl is not vinyls.)

Great selection and reasonable prices for new and used records. Would recommend checking it out.

Kops is my favorite local spot to find rare and unusual titles. The prices are reasonable and I seldom leave empty-handed. Groovy!

My favorite record shop in the city, but cramped and hard to get around the stacks if someone has a backpack. If you're reading this review: please don't wear a backpack to this shop!
