Korea House Restaurant

There are about 5 parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The interior is a bit dark and the interior is old, but the food is decent. Parking lot in front of store for about 5 cars. Rather, it's dark inside at evening but food is tasty.

I was really impressed - tasty banchan, good quality dumplings, and some of the best beef bulgogi I've ever eaten. It's tucked out of the way on a random Hamilton side street, but it's worth taking a detour to eat some delicious Korean food

Really enjoyed the spicy beef bulgogi and gamjatang. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Great spot for authentic korean

An underated small business.
The food is very fresh and tasty. I'd claim this to be the best Korean place in Hamilton.

When you ask for the beef, pork or soups to be spicy. They actually listen.
Their fried rice is very tasty. I love their kimchi jigae.
The shop might look scary from the outside, but it's cozy inside providing nice hot warm food to be enjoyed in the cold winters.
Please don't dumb down your food.

Fantastic food! The atmosphere reminds me of Korean restaurants my parents took me to it's awesome and delicious

Maybe this is good for Hamilton but for a Korean restaurant it's really just okay maybe even a little below average. Service was slow on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 2 or 3 other tables seated. Food took close to 30 minutes to come out which seemed on the long side since it didn't seem busy. It makes me wonder what it's like during dinner rush. Nothing wrong with the food per se but you can get better almost anywhere in the GTA. Jajangmyun was typical of most restaurants, Kkanpunggi was crispy but the sauce was overly thick and sweet. Kalbi was ok but again I've had better. Gamjatang was generous with meat but taste made me think they use the same broth for all their soups and stews.

Awful experience. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Korean food. I went there and ordered Tang su yuk (swee and sour pork), gan Jja Jang noodle (black bean noodle), jjam ppong noodle soup (spicy seafood noodle soup), and dak gal bi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Side dishes were dry and old. Sweet and sour pork tasted good, but it cost 28$ish and got 15 pieces of pork. Black bean noodles were full of grease and oil. It tasted awful and a little sour. It was the worst black bean noodle I've ever had. Spicy seafood noodle soup didn't taste anything. No flavor at all. Spicy stir-fried chicken tasted okay, but I can't say it's good.

Not too many choices of Korean places in Hamilton. If you can overlook the tired decor, the food is worth it

Very nice and traditional Korean restaurant I got the bulgogi, the portion was big for me and the taste was good!

Food here is great. Staff is friendly. Especially Daniel. They are short staffed and things move a bit slow when it’s a packed restaurant, but the food makes up for it. The stir fried pork belly with vegetables Jaeyouk Bokkeum is a must order. It’s a perfect blend of spicy and so flavorful. We also had the spare ribs and vegetable tempura which has a very nice light batter.

Absolutely the worst Korean restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Took 40 min for a table despite there being empty tables sitting empty for over 40 min, the staff were rude and didn’t apologize for the food taking 40 minutes. All in all this place is just terrible. We ended up just getting take out since the 1.5 hour fiasco was so incredibly infuriating.

I had the mackerel and pork kimchi jiggae. Outstanding. Great flavour in everything. Good banchan. Just need to know where to park. There is a weird odour permeating the place though but food is good enough to bear it.

We have been here many times and we've never been disappointed with the food. We often have the bibimbap, japchae, and other dishes like the donburri, katsu or kanpoongi. All are delicious. We generally enjoy the banchan, particularly the cucumber one and the fish cake. They recently underwent some renovations and it looks much better but still feels home like and relaxed.
