This place has really gone downhill, $30 for a barely filled bowl (was about 1/4 to 1/3 filled).

Nice place with good service. The chicken feet was really good and tonkatsu is really cheesy.

The food came out quickly after ordering.
The food was tasty and reasonably priced.
The kimchi pancake was especially tasty.

Service from the staff was good even though it was a busy Friday night.
The restaurant is small, so it gets really loud.

Food is great! Service is fast but a little loud during rush hour because it fills up! Understandable because it's a smaller space

A great place to have authentic Korean food. The Bibimbap in a stone bowl was great and delish, and it comes with a soup and various interrupted sides. (Assorted pickled vegetables)

A bit pricy, especially for a lunch. Over $80.00 for three of us. No drinks ordered, just food.

I like their Samgyetang as it includes various ingredients. Try seafood samgyetang, that is the best one I’ve every tried:)

Had lunch here at KoSam! The interior and service was great. We got the tteokbokki and tteok galbi. The beef in the tteok galbi tasted very fresh and the tteok was nicely cooked as well. The tteokbokki was also very good. The portion size was small compared to the price. Overall great experience and will be coming back!

Service was good but in my honest opinion the food is overpriced for what we ordered and they skimed out on how much food they provide. I ordered Yang Gom Tang (G1) and (P1) Maak Chaung Boak stirr fried pork intestines. We got large and it would comfortable serve 2 people for $30 bucks but the biggest disappointment was the beef based brooth with beef brisket cow intestine and potato noodle had 90% cow intestine as the meat which maybe amount of 15-20 segments total. Each one was little bigger than a thumb nail which pretty much meant I was not full at all after eating an entire bowl of rice with it. I assume they think the rice would fill you up with the dish but I had shared some rice with my partner that got the large pork intestine. The beef based broth was also only spicy which I could handle but no other taste really. Maybe because it is on Yonge street rent is high but will not be visiting again

TL;DR really pricey, cheap side dishes and meh food service was ok!

Nice Korean restaurant in North York, great on a cold winter’s night. I think my favourite dish was the seafood pancake, so tasty and crispy.

The food was amazing. We had the tonkatsu which was out of this world, especially the tonkatsu sauce. The dumplings were great. We also had their hot stone bibimbap and that was also good. For us the greatest find was the soju. We tried it for the first time and it was amaaazing

Food was ok. But management might needs to schedule more servers at rush hours. The kitchen missed our one dish, servers ignored our needs. We had been waiting more than 20 mins for seafood pancake. No one brings us utensils and water.

Went there in a sunny afternoon on weekday after 2: 30pm and there was no customer. We enjoyed a quiet late lunch sitting at window seat. The fried chicken (honey butter) was tasty and crunchy. But the chicken soup was a bit bland.

Quite good and no-frills. Our friend with peanut allergy recommended this place. I liked the bibimbap. 4.5 stars

This is my first time to korean restaurant but i can't feel the taste of korean food. The food is very bland especially the soup. It's also the first time I don't see a cabbage kimchi on their side dishes which is appear almost every korean restaurants. I think cabbage kim is one of the most national dish of every korean restaurant when we talk about korean food. That's weird so i asked the waiter and he said they serve mostly the korean soups so they don't give cabbage kimchi. The service is very good, foods came every fast.

Great food, served steaming hot. Waitress checked on us very often to see if we were ok despite us sitting outside. Definitely recommend.

I ordered samgyetang and opened side dishes. These side dishes look like left over. Better not to give customers. Or if you don't want to give more side dishes then better change small containers.

It’s on the premium side in terms of prices but very worth. I visit this place whenever I feel like I’m running low on energy/stamina and always feel great leaving. Their makchang stir fry is AMAZING. I’d recommend trying it out if you’re looking for menus to share.

Bibambap and banchan (free sides) tasted fresh and flavourful. Definitely not paying for quantity as the bibambap gave about half of what I’d usually get somewhere else at a lower price, but it was enough to satisfy. Plus it came with a side soup which I’ve never had before.

The Korean food here is so good and authentic. It definitely reminds me the Korean food that I used to have in Asian, or even better! Will revisit it for sure!

I used to love this restaurant for their clean food and side dishes, but I had a very disappointing experience last night when I went with my friend. Korean restaurants are recognized for their generosity in providing complimentary side dishes, and at many places, you can get a refill. I’m not talking about endless refills, but at least one refill of the side dishes is basic. Yesterday, I asked for a refill because my friend was saying that she loved the side dishes, and the server came back with a single cabbage salad side dish saying that the owner said they can’t refill when we’ve finished our meal. I was taken aback because my friend had an entire bowl of rice and half of her soup left - she was clearly not done her meal. We didn’t know what to say, and finished our meal. I’ve never experienced this at the restaurant, and I’ve spoken with the owner before too, so I’m surprised by it. Super disappointed and won’t be going back.

The jinseng chicken soup tasted not like it was supposed to be. But the seafood pancake was very good.

I had the dol sot dak go gi dup bap, which was done really nicely with a pleasant amount of crispness on the rice and spicy chicken.

I've been a Kosam a few times and am continually impressed by the quality of each type of dish, from the hot platters, the broth, and the street food, it's all cooked well, tastes fresh and flavorful, and served efficiently.

The food was amazing, definitely coming back to try more dishes.

I was however a bit disappointed from the side dishes which weren't as good as we expected.

Well located, and the dishes are pretty decent. Was a little disappointed with the Ttebouki as it wasn’t consistent with the previous orders. Otherwise, recommended.

Menu is on the pricier side than your regular neighborhood Korean place, but I would say the environment and utensils they use are better quality than average, clean, stylish. Foods are very solid, no complaints what so ever. Their fried chicken are low key amazing tbh.

I've had samgyetang in Seoul more than a few times and this place falls short of expectations. We ordered the green tea and seafood broth and both tasted very bland. There was hardly any herbal taste. The chicken was tender and flavorful but the meal felt disappointing overall.

Great side dishes and ttokbokki, though.

Honestly the best seafood pancake I've ever had! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The food came quickly. The sides were delicious!

My impression of this restaurant is limited by the quality of their Bi Bim Bap which was subpar. The minced meat was bland and unappetizing. The Bi Bim Bap itself lacked in flavour and at $16, it's too expensive IMHO. There are better options available in the area. This was my first and last trip to this restaurant.

Very clean place and a good place to invite your foreign friends to explore somewhat legit korean food. Highly recommend!

The food was really good. The katsu with cheese, I find it's just too much cheese with barely and meat. Aside from that, the food tastes super good!
