The place is Persian! Food quality is not bad but not the best! Little bit pricey! Their wraps are amazing, very flavourful and fresh cooked! Friendly and polite staff and owner! One important thing! Their bread is not fresh and not even preheated in oven!
Awesome food. We really enjoyed our tasty food. Try their spicy dizi. I’m not a fan of dizi in general. But this tasted absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.
This is not at all a Turkish restaurant! I took my turkish friend to this place and we were both shocked that all the options were persian! Please either change the name or bring some turkish food to your menu! Also, the food was so basic just like a street food not like an actual restaurant food. The only pro is the price is reasonable which matches the low food quality
Definitely this is not a Turkish restaurant. It is just a bad imitation. They are reducing the quality of Turkish food by using the name of a Turkish restaurant. Visiting this place will be a disappointment especially for those who will try Turkish food for the first time. The inside of the restaurant was dirty, dusty and messy. One person both served as a waiter/caisher and prepared the meals. So, the food was brought late. I guess when the owners of restaurant ate Turkish food, they thought they could. But food was tasteless and poorly cooked. Most things on the menu were not available. You don't waste your money and time.
We went to Koy Evi restaurant Friday night after the nearby Mandarin restaurant was full. The restaurant was completely empty. It was pretty warm since there wasn't any air conditioning. There was an outside patio.
We ordered some kebab dishes. The food was pretty good and tasty, but nothing special. The food wasn't Turkish, but Persian.
Would we come back to this restaurant? No since it was in the middle of nowhere.
It is definitely a Persian restaurant not a Turkish one! They even serve Persian dishes rather than Turkish ones. The only Turkish option they had in the time we visited was Pide which was not available at the moment! Despite the name which is not current and should change, their food is good. All dishes were delicious and the price was logical. When we visited the place, the ventilation didn't work at all and the space was full of kebab smoke! That's why I deducted a point with the hope that they address the issue currently.
Their Boghche kebab was unique and highly recommended.
Pros (+) and Cons (-) summary: + Food quality and price + Friendly staff + A DJ playing some music - Ventilation - incorrect naming as it should be Persian not Turkish.
I have never seen any Turkish restaurant like this. Workers can not speak English (just a little) or Turkish. Also, inside is very dirty. Empty drink bottles, glass etc. Nobody is wearing gloves while preparing the foods. They are not professional. I can’t go there again.
Lovely Turkish/Iranian restaurant that is good at both cuisines. I tried their Iranian pizza which was great but also tried their beef doner which was phenomenal and surprisingly not fatty - despite its huge portion size, I was able to eat it without feeling bloated. Their koobideh kebab was great too. The staff/owners are super friendly and really into what they do, everything is done fresh and with passion, even the decor has a warm homely touch to it. Highly recommend Koy Evi.
I think it's important to have an option for people to call orders in by phone. Especially during a pandemic. It's not easy finding you on Uber eats when I am coming from another city to buy your food then go to work. I was willing to try your food but it's not meant to be.
Food is really fresh and delicious. Owner (Nazi) is so sweet and friendly she invited me and my friends for a turkish desert and tea for free! I highly recommend this place
Love this place, so cute & cozy. Great vibe, friendly owners & employees. Persian, turkish & kurdish music. Authentic & delicious food! Patio in the summer time too! Definitely reccommend
Best place for Turkish/Iranian mix taste food, the restaurant"s owner makes you feel like her true guests. Food was amazing and service was awesome. And yes it's very nice restaurant from inside, worth the visit.
The food was delicious however the salad and appetizers needs real work. I ordered iskender and my husband ordered koobideh. Both were well made and had great taste. Sitting area is small.
If you go during late hours prepare to see drunk dancing people. Honestly I was shocked and turned off by this. We were moved just to accomodate the drunk dancers. I have not seen this before and expected this only at bars at very late hours. We went at 9: 30-10.
Very nice area for friends gathering even families. Takes you to old days in Turkey, Iran. The foods are fantastic with very low salt and fat. Definitely will go there again.
We've been to this restaurant with our family. We tried Karniyarik and Inkarbeyendi for entry, it was amazingly true to it's origin. The main meal was mixed turkish grilled meat including Doner Kebab, Iskender Kebab and Adena Kebab. By far, it's the best Doner we have ever eaten in Toronto area. The host, Mrs Nazila was friendly too! We really enjoyed our experience.
L like eating pide here and turkish coffee is very delicious. Restaurant is very clean and friendly staff.it is worth trying.l definitely recommend those who want to taste turkish cuisine.
The donor kabob is very old and the survive is very old the Server Fought with me and when we pry the tikka he showed us a full shish but we only got half. And when I got the sandwich they did not ask when I wanted they just put stuff on. This restaurant very sloppy and overpriced
