KRAVE INDIAN Best Indian Restaurant In Woodbridge, Brampton, GTA

Portions for the $17 chicken curry are really poor for the price compared to other restaurants. It wouldn't be so bad if they at least included a roti with it, but they don't.

This place is awesome! Great food at a good price. Be careful if you order online via the website because I don’t think they get many online orders. Would definitely eat there again, but I’d just dine in or order in person.

Daal baati here is so good, and spicy as asked. Must try it. 1 serving is enough for a person.

I don’t know why everyone has written only about daal baati churma and maharaja thali and rajasthani food! They have one of the best Amritsari kulcha. It is a proper amritsari kulcha and not a bakery style stuffed naan that I have eaten at many other restaurants! I would love to go back here!

The food was good and there were lots of vegetarian options. The thalis were very filling and could be counted for two meals. The panak chicken was the best dish we had at the table- full of flavour and a definite hit. Would recommend if you’re in the area and need something reasonably priced and good!

Not a good attitude to handle customers. Been waiting there for so long and the guy there was looking at us with disappointment. Crazyyy. We left without eating, reason: we were left hanging without getting answer if we will get our food or no. And when we started leaving, the person asks if we want to eat or what?

We went for dine in to ear Dal Bati with my friends, but from the very first the behaviour of staff was rude, they did provide a table with empty water bottles and full of trash of previous customers, when we went to order dal batti, the guy said he was selling it from the morning so they do not have one right now and he said let me confirm from the kitchen and get back to you, after 10-15 minutes he didn’t replied anything. So we just left the store.

There is no option we can give one star otherwise my only option will be that, The customer service is too bad, i would not suggest anyone to go there in future.

They were more than happy to answer my questions about the menu and provide recommendations based on my preferences. The wait time for my order was minimal, and the food was served promptly, piping hot, and with utmost care.

The moment I took my first bite of Dal Bati, I was transported back to the vibrant streets of Rajasthan. The traditional baked wheat batis were light and airy, perfectly complemented by the aromatic dal. The batis were crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside, and the dal was rich, flavorful, and had the right balance of spices. The dish was served with ghee, chutneys, and gur, enhancing the taste even further.

Considering the quality and taste of the food, the prices were reasonable and well worth the experience. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that no guest would leave with an empty stomach.

I was looking for authentic rajasthani specialities like daal baati choorma and then found this place. Chef Neeraj asked for our preferences and served the best daal baati choorma and rajasthani thali we had in many years! Will visit again for sure.

I had the laal maas and it was fantastic! Service was pretty good to Bambi was really nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend to others!

We tried Daal Baati and it was amazing like it was the first time I ever had in Canada. It was worth driving long distance to try desi rajasthani dish.

I used to order pav bhaji every-time. Today i got got something else instead of bhaji, the texture and taste looked different so we call at the restaurant but the guy who picked up the phone refused completely and told us that they make it this way only. We used to go because of the difference in taste than other shops. It was totally wastage of money, food and time.

Hands down the best Indian food in the GTA! The chicken tikka was literally to die for and the garlic naan was so soft and cooked to perfection! I'm always on the hunt for authentic Indian food and its safe to say that I've found it.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THE OWNER NAMED NIKHIL!

So i got Tiffin service from him, but after like 10 days i had to fly back to India for for emergency reason.
I told the Nikhil that it might take me some time to start taking the tiffin.
But I returned back he simply denied!
So now they owe me like 150ish but no response.

Pathetic service!

Rajasthani Thali was delicious and awesome, small restaurant but food is great price is good, we loved it

I ordered chicken samosa. It was tiny and frozen one. They just fried it. Tasteless and high prices according to the food.

I placed an order with them for the weekend and it was ready at the time I wanted, in addition to it being at a time when the restaurant is shut. The food was fresh and warm and the guests enjoyed it thoroughly. I recommend this place for the quality, taste and the unique food they offer which to my knowledge is not found anywhere close.

My order was Pau bhaaji and it was so nice in taste just bun is bit crunchy. I usually prefer to have it soft and lightly done but it’s not a huge thing. Just make that thing clear before placing your order.

My wife and I looking for a place to have a bite walk through this place door. Very glad we have discovered this small hidden gem. I can't talk about authenticity but we can authenticate the deliciousness of the food.

They are really kind I love the service and the food, restaurant is very clean, I recommend to try Daal Baati and Kachori Chat.

Rare Rajasthani food in GTA recommend for anyone craving for daal baati Churma and thali.

It smelled absolutely amazing as soon as I walked in the door.
I ordered the tandoori chicken wrap with fries. Service was very friendly & quick. Both the wrap & the fries were delicious especially the mint yogurt dip.

We tried the "chicken biryani" it was buttered rice with tasteless curry mixed in. The thali looked good but again all 3 curries were tasteless. Don't go here for authentic Indian food.

I don’t wanna give one star because it affects people’s business.but still i wanna say that i have tried food from here two times and couldn’t finish it.hardly had 3-4 bites thats it.i find the food flavourless and bland in taste.they really need to take care of this thing.

Look no further than 'Krave Indian' when you want to have authentic Rajasthani food.

Hands down the best Dal Bati Churma in entire GTA. Fresh and perfect Bati with Dal, ghee and lehsun ki chutney was a true delight. A must try when you visit this restaurant.

We also tried the Rajasthani thali. I enjoyed the gatte ki sabji, Dal, aaloo sabji but it was the flawlessly yummy Churma that stole our hearts.

A shout-out to the nice staffs and owner of the place as well. Very accomodating and helpful.

Will surely visit soon for trying other items on the menu especially the pyaaz ki Kachori which I gave a miss this time as I was super saturated and satisfied with what we ordered tonight.

Biryani was top notch layered properly, and it's not spicy hot. Highly recommended. The other curries are a tad too hot for small kids but the butter chicken isn't spicy so the kids ate it up. Will be ordering again. Thanks

Update.
Quality and taste still maintained. Daal Baati is best in GTA and all the stores I have tried in Canada. Amazing kachori and chhole bhature. Portion is good, would like more of the baati daal, full of taste.

Super Authentic and Tasty food.
We were in Vaughan for some work, and our hunger Brought us to this place. Staff was really nice.
I ordered Katchori, Daal Baati, Chhole Bhature, Everything is delicious. I wish they could deliver to my address in Brampton. Nevertheless I am going to drive by anyway to get my next order.

Krave Indian prides itself with authenticity, excellent customer service, and outstanding food. In a sea of Indian restaurants in GTA, Krave Indian stood out to me for their truly unique Indian dishes (I ordered "Gatte Ki Sabzi" and "Dal Batti), " freshness of ingredients, tasteful décor, and highest cleanliness standards. The owner's/ Chef's personal touches to the menu are extraordinary and will leave you smiling. It is rare to find Indian restaurants that not only serve great food, but genuinely care and feel passionate about the cuisine. Even if you have to drive down across the town to experience this gem - you should! I know I will!

Highly recommend this place. I was looking for another place when I happened upon this restaurant. So glad I did. First thing I noticed was the cleanliness of this place. The owner and the kitchen staff were extremely friendly. We had a really delicious meal and then I ordered a catered meal for 30 for a gathering at my place. The prices are very reasonable and the favours are extraordinary. I live in Toronto but would travel all the way again for their food.

Total confusion for lunch on a Friday, took a long time to get the food. Food order did not come with requested breads.

The lunch special was a good deal letting you try multiple items. The serving size was large and left me more than full. Overall, it was a good place to try and would reccomend it if you are in the area.

I visited Toronto from Chicago for 7 days and tried many restaurants in Toronto. The best enjoyment I had was at Krave India. Unique Menu. Very special dishes from Rajasthan Dal Batti. Gatte ki Sabji. Pyyaz ki kachori and tea was special for my family.

I bought a mango lassi, it was so sour that I was not even able to finish half of it must be sitting from long time.

My friends mentioned this place to me since I like Indian food and can genuinely say that the food was amazing. I tried the chicken tikka masala and naan and also had some samosas. If you like Indian food I definitely recommend checking the place out.

Nice place! Went here with a friend today for a casual lunch. There were different options.a thali, special of the day or a la carte. We wavered between a thali and a la carte, with the latter winning out. I ordered the samosa chaat while my friend tried the dum biriyani with chicken. Both good sized servings and reasonably priced. The samosa chaat was nicely spiced with a good bite to it, but not overpoweringly hot.
The dining area was modern and very clean with very cool wall art. The staff was super polite and checked in once and again without being intrusive. There is ample parking in the mall. We both got parking spaces directly outside the restaurant.
Great meal finished off with some wonderful warm gulab jaman. I will definitely be back to bring mom!:)

I was recommended this place by a friend and I absolutely loved the food. Best god damn samosa I ever had. Honestly check this place out.

Visited this place with family for dining. Had chana bhatura, pavel bhaji and aloo tikki amazing food and the ambience and service is very good. We will definitely go back to this place to try other menus. If any body loves authentic Indian food this place is highly recommended

This rating is specifically for Chicken biryani. I went in trusting the employee’s description and reviews, but if you are expecting hyderabadi dum biryani you will hate it. It was also overpriced for what it is, I had similar biryani for $5 for years!

On the brighter side the food was fresh

Went to this place with my friends which opened recently near my house. Had butter chicken and Chana Masala. Both were good, liked their chicken Samosas too.
Definitely coming back. Nice ambience.

I tried the Thursday special, which was a pulled chicken wrap with masala fries. The wrap was decently sized and fries tasted unique. The dipping sauce was nice as well.
