So disappointed today. We buy shawarma plate at this place 1-2x a week. Tonight was 2 guys never seen them before. They left out the drinks from my order just noticed at home and the potato is raw. PRICE went up service and quality went down.
Great spot, sometimes hard to spot if your driving but it’s certainly a must. I usually get the chicken and rice or the wrap. I did however get the dinner once before, everything is superb, quality and flavour of the meat, rice, potatoes, etc etc
Just came back here today after Danny and her sister left I was scared to come back thought it wouldn’t be the same and all… actually it wasn’t that bad the manager was very welcoming and nice took care of me and gave me extra food. I get it on the reviews where people are saying it’s not the same yes there is a change but it’s not that bad of a change also people are saying it’s so expensive it’s actually not! If you think about it what hasn’t gotten up after covid? Lol remember these small businesses took a big hit so if they raise it Abit it’s cause they took a hit just like everyone else out here. Only problem I can say is the place is not clean at all they need to work on that part to be honest I was scared to use the washroom after I ate other wise it’s delicious will come back for take out.
Great food, affordable price. Always a peasant experience when coming here. I live walking distance to another Greek spot, but actually take the effort to drive out to this spot.
Tried ordering for pickup and was ready to check out and it wouldn't allowing me to go on so I just went to restaurant to order and get food I wanted a Greek salad and 1 stick of chicken souvlaki on line it was $7.10 for salad and $4.99 for chicken souvlaki stick. I get to restaurant place order and it comes out to $20 and change I said wait how much for the salad (10.99) 1 stick of chicken ($6.99) how does it cost more at restaurant then on line.and $20 and change for Greek salad which is 90% shredded lettuce! THAT'S RIDICULOUS! ITS NOT WORTH THE $20 ARE YOU KIDDING ME NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT IT AT ALL! IM EATING SHREDDED LETTUCE A FEW TOMATOES AND FEW PCS OF CUCUMBER! WHAT A RIP OFF! WILL NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND! COULD HAVE GONE TOY USUAL PLACE GOTTEN A QUARTER CHICKEN WITH VEGGIES FOR $15 WANTED TO CHANGE IT UP AND REGRET IT!
If you asked me 5 years ago for the best gyros place, I would tell you to come here. The food used to be amazing, a true greek place with the best food and pork gyros plate. The owners then changed, pork was taken off the menu and halal was added to the signage. I still went because the food was still delicious. I hadn’t been since about 2019, and after tonight, I will never set foot in that place ever again. After years of not visiting, we went tonight and purchased four gyros, fries and a salad. Our meal was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The chicken gyros had undercooked chicken in it and it tasted OLD. I don’t know how to describe what old meat tastes like but once you taste it and that stench hits all your senses, you will know. I still feel sick to my stomach and I only had one bite. We opened up each gyros and it smelt terrible. The chicken did not look appetizing at all. My brother-in-law had the beef/lamb and it was so chewy and tasted strongly of spices (probably to cover up old meat). The fries were old and stale, like they were cooked yesterday. The salad was the only salvageable part of the meal, though even that included bits and pieces of browning lettuce and barely any dressing. Do not go here. Do not be fooled by reviews from years ago. You will just end up throwing your food (and money) straight into the trash and that is not something any of us want to be doing, especially during this time. This USED to be a good place. Not anymore. The one (mandatory) star goes to the 3 cans of Coca-Cola we bought with our meal which tasted amazing and helped wash away the taste of this gyros. Stay far, far away. The only Krazzy thing about this place is what it will do to your taste buds and stomach…
Rip off. Chicken was overcooked, plate full of rice and potato for $20. Never seen yellow garlic sauce at a greek restaurant but it was tasty. They should call it greek fusion so you know not to expect greek food. Won't say food was bad, but it wasn't worth the prices. First and last time here
Nothing like it used to be, used to be my fav spot to grab food it was amazing then the owners changed Danny's gone I can't get something to eat here now it's not the same at all
Whole lotta fake reviews. This place is trash. The guy making the food is dirty and you can honestly make the same thing but much tastier and cleaner at home. And the prices are also not cool, wouldn’t be so bad if the food was actually good.
They raised the prices by a lot on every item and also served me my gyro on rice without any sauce because they ran out, but didn't tell me before I paid. The quality of this place has gone way down and the service is unacceptable.
Food was salty particularly the rice and chicken (Dinner #2). The salty chicken went well with the wrap but not the rice as the rice was salty too. Chest felt like I was eating table salt from the rice and chicken
Usually I head over to Astoria just down the street but decided to try this place since I've heard so much good things. The chicken souvlaki was actually pretty good! I actually thought their tzatziki sauce was on par with Astoria. Also the prices are not too bad here. Only issue I have is that they should put more potatoes in the souvlaki dinner, I like my souvlaki dinner with a good balance of rice, potatoes and salad. Other than that, I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely stop by again when passing through the area.
It was ok. I asked for the chicken poutine but instead of gravy i asked for tzatziki. They gave it to me without… so just a tiny bit of chicken and dry fries. I had to go back for the tzatziki and they seemed surprised i was asking despite recalling the discussion. I was asked why i didn’t ask again after to make sure they did it right didn’t realize i had to monitor after clarifying and agreeeing on my order. Also out of hot sauce. How is a Greek place out of hot sauce? Not enough chicken to determine if it was good. Overall dry and flavourless.
Got the krazzy gyro rice thinking that it would come with some sauce like tzatziki or something but turns out it was nothing but meat and rice for $15. Meat was okay but rice was sad tasting, being bland and somewhat soggy.
Small crew providing top quality eats for a long time this is hidden gem to many in the area but I've never ordered a gyro or plate here and regretted it.fresh and made to order, admittedly the gas station kinds throws some people off bit the eats are home run
Honestly for the prices they charge i can get a juicy lamb gyro in East York for less and with fries inside. The wrap was half empty. Nothing special about anything which makes me wonder why the high prices? I will not return to this place and waste my hard earned money on average food anyone can cook. These wraps are worth 6.99 at most
The only reason I went out of my way to come here is because of the really good rating.
The wrap was not good. I’ve honestly made better at home. And definitely not worth $9. I don’t even think a child would get full from one of these, maybe a very small child like under 40lbs.
And they don’t wear masks. I don’t think you should go here.
Food was awful for the price. Chicken tasted like it was taken out of the freezer and cooked in 30 seconds before getting served. Potatoes were not even cooked through. The "garlic" sauce is mustard. Not garlic sauce. Ridiculous price for the serving size. Still got their lovely burnt taste in my mouth as I'm writing this review.
Went a few times. Everytime I go ia worse. They forget things, are not friendly. Seems expensive for what you get. Flavour has gone constantly gone down.
I would go back. This hole in the wall is delicious. Shawarma dinner and wraps are delicious. Prices are great! I crave the sauce they use! Love the chicken over rice meal.
I never thought I'd see the day where I'd be leaving 'Krazzy Gyro' a 1 star review. I used to live in the neighborhood and I've been going to Krazzy for close to a decade and have lots of fond memories. I've lost count of the amount of people I told about this restaurant. Sadly, Krazzy really has not been the same since Danny left and 'Alexandros' took it over. The quality of the food, customer service and overall experience is terrible. I went there today because I was in the area, and I'm certain it will have been my last time. You guys really need to try harder if you plan on sticking around. Now is not the time to be taking short cuts.
For starters, maybe the woman who prepares the food should stop talking to whoever she's talking to on Bluetooth, and focus on the customer who's paying your outrages prices to keep the lights on.just a thought
Who cares about Halal when there is Covid? Employee not wearing a mask and allowing customer not to wear a mask. Food was ok. I wouldn’t call the salad “Greek”. No dressing and flat. Hate to see what other corners in food preparation they shortcut if they are relaxed about practicing Covid restrictions. You couldn’t pay me enough to return to this dump! Health department needs to visit.
I Visited Toronto from Manitoba last week and had the opportunity to try the amazing food at Krazzy Gyro! It was so yummy! The owners and staff are lovely too! I highly recommend going to this restaurant. You will love the food!
My partner and I came here on Valentine's Day. We were looking for some Greek food and after spending 30 minutes searching we drove all the way down from Brampton to try this place out for the first time. Krazzy gyro is in a pretty good spot right next to an automotive shop. When we entered, we were greeted and welcomed. The vibe has a nice "small town family run" kind of feeling and it was great. We went with the chicken souvlaki and beef chicken gyro with Greek fries to start. The chicken gyro was not dry at all and their tziki is amazing. The gyro had small cut up pieces which had lots of flavour. I've got to say, the food is great! I would definitely recommend this place for a good sit in or a quick bite. The staff are super friendly and nice. Very relaxed place to spend a good evening. The reviews and the stars are all deserving for this place. I am genuinely happy to give them 4 stars because of their service and food. Amazing. Will be definitely passing by this place again in the future. Overall: very much recommended for a good relaxed seating, friendly staff and good tasting food.
Best gyro in town! The souvlaki is perfectly seasoned and tender as well, and the Greek fries are a must have. Excellent service and price point for the quality.
The sweetest family owns this shop! Literally the BEST Greek food I've ever had. Their chicken and lamb is so tasty! Their food is filled with flavours unlike a lot of Greek restaurants food I've tasted. Highly recommend going here!:)
Ordered a Group Office Lunch for 25 people at work with only a days notice. Nunu was able to pull it off, worked with our budget, provided with extra sauces, napkins and plates. Her customer service was excellent and the food was AWESOME! So fresh and tasty. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for your catering event! Aliyah R
Great Staff, friendly staff, great looking place inside and out, staff always smiling. Small portions, big price, I had to throw my Gyros beef wrap as it tasted sour. I will not be back, I'm sorry.
This is place is really good. Came for lunch during work. A little pricey but worth the money. Big portions. Secret sauce they put on the meal was awesome. The reviews are right. This place is good
Awesome food we both had the chicken souvlaki dinner which was very tasty. Very friendly staff we are looking forward to going back again to enjoy another dinner very soon.
Food is great, staff are quick and friendly. The signature sauce and home made hot sauce are amazing. I specially like the fact that they have both lamb and beef gyro so you can choose. I dont know another fast food place that has this option. The prices are a bit high though (compared to the portion). They also serve beer which is a plus.
I ordered over the phone and told the lady this was my first time trying their food and she told me she would give me Greek fries on the house! She paid careful attention to my order and got everything right which doesn't always happen. When I picked up the food I was greeted by two sweet ladies. The food was great with good portion sizes and tasted fresh! One of the best Greek places near by for a quick pick up!
I have been coming to Krazzy for 3 years now at least 1/month. It is a family owned and operated business. They are super friendly and put a lot of heart into their service. The food is seasoned so well it's like an explosion of flavours in your mouth. You have to try the Greek fries.
The gyro meat is cooked on rotisserie so it's fresh and tastes good. The combo is not as generous as at some other places I've been to. Friendly staff.
The best gyro place ever, the team that works here are very friendly and hard working almost feels like we’re all friends. I highly recommend this place
Came in looking for a quick bite to eat, was not ready for what was in store for my taste buds. The food was delicious to say the absolute least. It was affordable, and the staff walked me through the entire ordering process, very informative. I will definitely be back!
This place is absolutely amazing. I eat lots of this kind of food and the meal I had here was 10/10. I got a half chicken/half lamb gyro dinner. Everything about it was amazing: the rice, the meat, the sauces. The pita bread and tzatziki are so delicious, their tzatziki is on a much higher level than most places. I'll definitely be coming back.
Customer service is great and staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant with music playing in the background and the food is delicious and satisfying especially with their special sauce. Recommended!
