After the rust proofing was applied and I drove off the lot, I noticed my brakes were barely working. Turns out they broke the brake line on my car. They did not take responsibility for it whatsoever, nor did they provide even a partial refund of the rust proofing job as a form of compensation. Had to get my car towed to a mechanic. Will not be going back.

If you’re a CAA member, make sure you tell them before you pay for the service otherwise they won’t give you the discount. The employee in the office didn’t ask me if I had CAA, so I didn’t know I could use my card until someone else came in and paid for their service and got their discount while I was waiting. Afterwards, I told the employee that I was a CAA member and would like my discount, but she told me it was too late; that I should have told her I was a member before she processed the payment. I told her that she hadn’t asked if I was a member and I hadn’t seen a sign anywhere, so how would I know to mention my membership to her? She became defensive and pointed to a sign across the room that was not in my line of sight when I made the payment (it’s in the waiting area, no where near the front desk… you have to turn 90 degrees to the left to see it). She also said she had never asked any of the other customers if they had CAA, so it basically wasn’t her fault and the situation was “out of her hands”. I kept pushing the issue and finally she said she would ask her boss. Her boss came out and they spoke about my situation in front of me in another language (I understood a few words), but after he left she didn’t give me an answer. Finally, when the service on my vehicle was complete another employee came into the office and threw my keys on the desk in a very unprofessional manner. That’s when the first employee told me I could take a bottle of product from the shelf (e.g. Glass cleaner) instead of receiving my discount. She made a point of emphasizing that the value of the products were greater than the discount, although I highly doubt it (they probably get them in bulk at cost). I reiterated the fact that they should really post a sign behind the desk to prevent this from happening in the future, but she continued to deny any wrongdoing on her part and said that next time I should tell her I have CAA before I pay. I feel like they purposely avoid drawing attention to the CAA discount so they can squeeze every last dollar out of their customers. Interestingly, another customer came into the office just as I was leaving, and the employee decided to ask them if they had their CAA membership. I’m happy she did this for these customers, but I don’t understand why just moments before she was telling me that she didn’t ask anyone before me for their CAA membership and was adamant that it wasn’t her responsibility, but then all of a sudden she’s asking people? Did she learn from the experience with me? How difficult was it for her to do that, really? And how difficult would it have been to simply apologize to me for making this mistake in the first place and then correct it by refunding my money and reprocessing my payment? And even if she absolutely couldn’t do that, she could have offered me the free product without making it seem like it was somehow my fault and without all of the defensiveness. Instead, the employee chose to argue with me and provide really poor customer service, leading me to leave this one-star review. And, to add insult to injury, when I went to pick up my vehicle the door wasn’t locked… they just left my vehicle in the parking lot unlocked and unattended. I will never go back to this Krown location and suggest you avoid it at all costs, too. It’s just not worth the hassle and negativity. EDIT: a family member just informed me that the EXACT same thing happened to them at this location, where they were not asked for their CAA membership and got the same reaction when they asked for their discount. Seems to be how they do business on the regular.

My 17 year old truck still gets compliments. Krown has kept the rust away without a doubt. Service here is prompt, professional and friendly. Cars are always washed when they are returned.

I've been in the automotive business for over 40 years and this is where I take my car. Zahid and his team do a great job and offer many services beyond rust control. When a new car costs $50k it's worth it to make sure the car lasts. Besides, it helps with the residual value.

Friendly and accommodated on short notice.

Only thing different about this Krown location from the others is that they don't provide an exterior car wash after being sprayed.
