I've been spraying my cars at this location for over 10 years and was back in October 2023 for a spray for one of my cars.
*** The good: ***
- Appointment was on time, service was courteous.
- Car seat and steering covered.
- They went through the procedures of unplugging, spraying under carriage, spraying hood, washing, etc.
- Conveniently closeby.
*** The concern: ***
Given that this is under new ownership/management (~ 4 years) and mostly new staff, I observed the spray procedure to ensure proper coverage.
- When it came to spraying the door panels. I noticed the technician using a 1 foot nozzle and only inserting only about 2" of the nozzle into the hole and spraying in a circular manner. I waited to see if the tech will use the longer stick (e.g. 3 - 4 footer nozzle) to spray into the door panels. But it was not performed. I proceeded to inform the manager (B) that the long nozzle was missed and he said not to worry "They will do it! ".
I continued to observe, and the technician proceeded to close the plugs (i.e. Panels were NOT sprayed with the long nozzle). And without spraying using the longer nozzle - therefore not reaching internal panel crevices. Note: the long nozzle has always been used in all the previous years of sprays for all my cars.
I informed the manager that it was not done and I want to ensure panels are fully sprayed as I plan to keep the car for the long term & avoid future rust issues. He responded that "don't worry, they will do it" - Had to reiterate and informed him again that the plugs have been closed without applying the long nozzle. Thats when he went back to the shop to inform the tech and I saw the tech had to removed the plugs from door panels.
Manager came back and we had a discussion and proceeded to the shop bay to discuss with a veteran technician (C). The veteran Tech confirmed that I knew what I was talking about and the long nozzle needs to be performed and explained the spray coverage. He indicated that he applied the long nozzle.
I have been happy with Krown Markham & established trust with Krown product and this Dealership over the years.
Unfortunately, this one observed experience in skipping important/critical spray application has definitely reset the trust level with this Dealership (Krown Markham).
I also contacted Krown HO and spoke with one of the Customer Support Lead (S). He indicated that the Markham staff has been recently/fully trained and I need to resolve the concern with the Dealership directly. He also indicated that he spoke with the Dealership and Manager confirmed they have applied to standards.
Given the unpleasant Krown Markham experience, I had my other car sprayed at Krown - Richmond Hill (Nov 2023) and realize the difference and thoroughness at the Richmond Hill dealership. I was glad to see that they went through the same/complete application procedures (without skipping important areas) that I have known and trusted from the many years with Krown application.
. And one more observation: I normally park newly sprayed car in the garage with cardboards underneath.
*** Comparing the drips between the two cars at day 2:
I noticed that the first car (car sprayed at Markham) had very sparse/few drips but the 2nd car (sprayed at Richmond Hill) had significantly more drips and still dripping. Although not as much as the previous years as Krown has modified the formulation in the past 2 - 3 years to drip less.

I come this place every year! Their lock in price discount is fabulous! Save me some money from the crazy inflation. Customer service is good also! Bruce is willing to listen and help me. The technicians are very professional too! They displayed their certificate on the wall and the technician obviously know they are doing! Great!

Very professional, they kept to the appointment time no delays even though clearly they were busy explained everything answered all my question and washed the car when they were done 5️

They did a good job on my car. Good service and my car has no rust on it since 2015. Recommended this place

The service was very good, the guy served me always explained everything to me! And try to save my money all the time, he reminded me as a CAA member, come back during May or June will have a big discount! Will do!

I brought my van last few weeks. It was a working van, they were very helpful. I was there earlier and Bruce helped me to get it done when there was a spot! Appreciate, good work!

Look for Bruce, he is helpful. Service is good. After the rust proof they clean the car thoroughly.

We were very well taken care of by Krown Markham for our entire fleet of vehicles and trailers! Special thanks to Tammy for all the coordinating and scheduling that she did on our behalf. Amazing customer service and excellent work for our oil sprays.

Very friendly staff and they have been great for the years I have been going there. Recommend doing their “lock it in price”.
Make sure you check the interior of your car after they spray because it’s inevitable to have some grease inside (due to transfer). If you ask nicely, they will come and clean up any transfer. Overall, a bunch of super nice guys who do the work in the shop!
