Wanted to recognize Tim at Krown Oakville, great friendly service for years. Last week, I unknowingly dropped my credit card when taking out my debit card to pay. I left after the rustproofing service was done. Apparently Tim had tried to call me multiple times, the problem was that my telephone numbers had changed and he was unable to get a hold of me. Then late Friday that same day, he shows up at my house to give me the missing credit card back personally. It demonstrates how much he cares about his customers and is willing to go the extra mile. Great job Tim, thanks again.

The process to book and come in was super simple.
The staff member at the front took the time to answer my questions and also made sure I knew about everything when I left (ie; pump your brakes, you may see smoke temporarily, etc).

I’ve been to other Krown rust proofing places and this is the best. Customer service is great and they are very friendly. They take their time while spraying your car and will tell u if you have any areas of concern under the car. I’ve been going here for years. They even have a seat where u can watch them spray the car. See pics.

Service was good. They were on time and professional both in person and on the phone. The guy jockeying the cars was friendly as well for what little i spoke with him, asked a few questions, changed my service order and things worked out. Only downside, parking is bad. When i first arrived i was waiting on the main street until someone would stop blocking the multiple driveways. This parking lot is where you get your bumper back into sadly. Not sure how much spray / oil should be on the vehicle but overall pleased

Very disappointed after using their service over 10 years. Have 2012 van and start doing protection at Krown 2015 until now. This year 2 rusty spots came out from inside, 1 on left rear bumper and another one under left sliding door handle. After talking with an owner he send me to auto body shop and promised me free protection for this year. Estimate to fix is over $800 so forget about that I went for promised free protection. Want an treat after so many years. They told me that they don't need me as a customer anymore but they did free protection: (They spray protection all over glass and they didn't clean that (I had very hard time to remove that) and they scrached chrome trim on door. You don't need me but this will read more than just you.

Absolutely incredibly customer service! They all were so accommodating, understanding and friendly. The best Krown I've been to in the GTA. Would recommend making this location your Go To rust protection resource!

Had a great experience here when I stopped by to get my car rustproofed for the first time. They were able to slot me in the same day I called and also let me know about the CAA discount without me having to ask if they had any promotions going on. I will be returning to this location for my next rustproofing. Note that parking is a bit limited but they should be able to pull your car into the bay right when you arrive.

They do an excellent job. I bring my 1985 Mercedes here along with 2 of my other vehicles. The job is always done perfectly and I'm happy to keep coming back each year!

They broke both tail lights on my truck by taking them off and then over tightening the screws. Then they lost some screws and told me to go to the dealer and buy them and they will reimburse me. What about my time? What about the tail light mounts? Don't go here! I purposely did not use my real name because I will never go back here again and no, I did not make a mistake about another place, this is the correct place. "yes, it was you the owner who broke them, and yes it was you who lost my screw and came to me and told me to go and buy one and you will reimburse me. 1490 Speers Rd. I only found out later when taking the lights off to replace the bulb that you overtightened the one screw so it will hold while you lost the other. You cracked both on the other taillight too". I called you about it and left a message and you never returned my call. I am just warning people to check their vehicles after you touch them, as you did not take nice care on my truck and I have not been back since.

A great place for car corrosion proofing. The owner and lady behind the front desk are both friendly and helpfull.

DAMAGE, MESS AND MISSES. I selected this location based on it's positive reviews compared to other locations nearby that were not so good. Each time I went something from one or more of the three categories listed in CAPS above has occurred. During my initial visit they drilled into areas of my vehicle that cannot have product put into them and are not identified on the model specific location chart that the head office states that the franchisees refer to in order to prevent this irreversible damage. Despite what the media states the product will soften your weatherstripping to the point it needs to be replaced. The product causes it to stretch, swell and soften to the point the holes that attached the weatherstrip fasteners go into open up and or tear causing the weatherstripping to hang loose, bends and bulges rendering it ineffective. It will also damage your asphalt driveway and impregnate concrete making it difficult if not impossible to remove. They would like you to believe that there is nothing to do on your part but if your want lessen the damage to your weatherstripping you must wipe them repeatedly until the product stops collecting on it. No such advice was given until after I notified them of the damage. The product has been sprayed onto most every surface of my vehicle's exterior and interior (see images). The most memorable occasion is when they left a coating on the windshield on a rainy day (despite washing the vehicle supposedly being part of the process) which instantly turned it opaque upon application of the wipers. This resulted in a near miss due to obscured vision. Interior filled with an acrid burning smell, smoke pouring out from under the hood an engine fire due to the recalled electrical part that has not been replaced? Thankfully no, just product on the exhaust. It has been applied to all the interior door panels, grille, engine plastics etc.by sprayer and to the seats, steering wheel, floor mats, A-pillar via hands and feet which has required several interior details to remove. On one occasion a paper floor mat was not supplied again despite it supposedly being part of the process. Who knows what areas have been missed as I can't see inside my fenders etc.but a quick look after one visit showed the front lower radiator support which is a high corrosion easy to access area was not done. At no time has any apology and or compensation been offered although a paper mat was supplied when I requested it. While my experiences may be unique I have a lot of experience with this location and feel comfortable providing a detailed review of the issues you many encounter in hopes that it will prevent others from experiencing them. On the upside Krown MAKES A QUALITY PRODUCT that can delay the onset and or slow down the corrosion of your vehicle if applied in a thorough and careful manner. If you choose to patronize I suggest you do it during the off peak season as you may stand a better chance of getting a proper application and benefit from discounts which are typically offered.
