By far the best tattoo shop around, won’t go to anyone else since I’ve found Megan. Very welcoming atmosphere and clean shop all around. I’ll forever recommend Megan to anyone I speak with about tattoos. Amazing line work and great flash/custom pieces. Always pleased at the end of a session.

Went for my first tattoo with Megan! When I arrived everyone was so nice and I welcoming! Megan was great and super nice and the whole team was offering me pillows and water to make sure I was comfortable throughout the tattoo and I love the a tattoo!

Very nice and down to earth people work here. They are very welcoming and provide great work. I got a tattoo by Megan and she was able to bring the idea I had all together. What I loved most was she looked into it to make sure she got the best idea to design something for me.

Met all the staff, everyone was amazing. I had work done by Stephen, he is phenomenal! You are made to feel right at home, all the way down to the comfort of his custom chairs for you to feel maximum comfort while he works his magic! 1000/10 would recommended! Phenomenal work!

I had a piece done by Meg nearly 1 year ago for my cat that recently passed away & she did an amazing job & was super gentle. All of the staff made sure I was comfortable, offering pillows & asking if i need breaks occasionally! Overall it was a super comfortable, welcoming & friendly environment that I'm more than happy to come back to without hesitation! Although I've only gotten pieces by Lauree & Meg, the rest of the artists are incredibly talented as well. Always recommend them to people looking for a new tattoo!

Marina did goddess-tier work and didn't comment on the fact I left bootysweat on the chair. When I apologized she reassured me it's common. Don't know if it is but I couldn't have asked for a better artist for my first experience as a human canvas.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Megan did my first tattoo in October and she was the absolute best. The staff are so welcoming and Megan explained the whole tattoo process to me and made me feel very comfortable. I just got my second tattoo done by her and I will definitely be coming back!

I went in this summer for a in memorandum tat for my brother and a touch up on a older tat.
I was paired with Meghan whom I never met before but soon became very comfortable with, her calm demeanour, her hilarious sense of humour and her gentle tattooing skills. I felt at ease and in good hands. I’ve already been back twice since and am not done yet. I have a couple more lined up to do. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a safe, laid back and professional shop with great and friendly staff to get work done.

Got my first tattoo here in October and I can’t say enough good things! Marina, the artist, helped me achieve exactly what I wanted and was so incredible to work with. The studio had such awesome vibes and I felt so comfortable from the moment I stepped in! Everyone I met there was so good at answering any questions I had. If you’re looking for a good quality, clean tattoo shop I highly recommend!

From the moment your greeted at the door by heather you feel welcome. The shop has great vibe and a bunch of cool ladies working there. Megan is awesome she can do fine lines, realism and anything custom.she makes you feel comfortable and is down to earth.she has a tv set up for you to watch, water if your thirsty and a phone charger right there available for you to use.

Well, what can I say? Nothing good to be honest. It was my first attempt at getting a tattoo. I booked the first appointment with Lauree at the end of March. I came with a laptop and showed exactly what I was looking to get. The creature, the pose, the details, etc. Lauree positively said YES, she would be able to do it, asked me to leave a $100 deposit, and booked me for mids of April to do the tattoo. Before leaving the shop I asked if I should send her an email with the references that I showed her, to which I said no problem,  send me. Sent her the email and sent a text a few days later to get a confirmation to which she said she didn't get any of my emails. Asked me to send another email to her other email account, which I did right away. Sent her another text to confirm if she got it or not, to which I never received a response. At that point, I should have known that something is up. Anyway I thought, you know she is busy and whatnot, and just waited until the day of the next meeting (day of getting the tattoo). Well, today I come into to shop, she sits down with me and shows me a sketch that I never asked for (a random sketch of some image from the internet). Like not even close to the pose I was looking for, to which she says she couldn't find a good reference of the pose with the textures or details that I am looking for. Wait, what? Why is she telling this to me now, and why was she so confident about getting this design done when we had the first meeting. Now I am left with the fact that either I have to look for another tattooist who can make both the design and tattoo OR I find a digital artist to design a tattoo first that I will bring to the shop. I wasted 3 weeks of my time and $100 down the drain. FAIL. Don't know what else to add. Won't be coming to this place ever again.

As my first larger piece, I’m quite happy with the results and will definitely go back.

So I moved to Hamilton from Toronto, and I searched long and hard for an artist that was really good at scripting and I found her here. Her name is Marina and I'm willing to bet she's the best in Hamilton, no bs. Hamilton is very lucky to have this woman. Also the staff is very nice cheers.

Absolutely amazing! I had my first tattoo done by Lauree today and I couldn’t be happier. She listened to my thoughts and ideas and nailed it. She is an incredibly talented, beautiful human being and had me laughing throughout the entire time. She can belt out a helluva tune too! All of the people there, including customers there getting work done, made you feel like you’d known them for years. I can’t say enough about this place, I am so bloody happy! Thank you to everyone there today!

I'm writing this review on behave of my Daughter, Son and myself, we are all first timers and are extremely grateful we walk through Kryptonian Inks doors. First, of all the studio is EXTREMELY clean and EXTREMELY well looked after. Secondly, All the staff are amazing, great personality, fun and professional. Thirdly, Megan did all of our tattoos and her work is spot on perfect. Fourthly, Steven the owner goes above and beyond to ensure you are look after including personally following-up with the healing process. 5 Star +

Incredible shop. All the artists are so personable, professional, and do amazing work. Very clean and orderly workspaces. The owner is so knowledgeable about his craft and really takes a hands on approach to help everyone do their best work as well as making the clients comfortable, also I think he might be Superman in secret identity. Even the receptionist was a delight she went out and bought me a lunch because I hadnt eaten before hand and she was very efficient in setting up my appointment via email. Just a fantastic experience, can't wait for my next piece here

I got my first tattoo by Megan and the service was fabulous. From the moment you walk in they are offering water/coffees. And they go over the design many times to make sure it is perfect! They all made me feel welcome and at home. Megan also answered all my questions and was patient and so sweet! Steve did my first tattoo today and I really love how it turned out. Surprisingly, it wasn’t that painful as I thought it would be. He knows what he’s doing, he even explained everything to me before he started. He’s indeed a great artist!

My son just got his first tattoo from kryptonian ink by Lauree! She was sure to make sure he was comfortable the whole time and made sure the tattoo was perfect by the end. Not to mention how amazing the seats are for their customers. Very good for people looking to get big and small tattoos done with how cozy they are. When my tattoo artist from another studio disappeared leaving me with a half finish tat. Stephen took a look and immediately booked me an appointment to have it finished. I got my first tattoo here and it was seriously the best experience I’ve had as a first timer. Steven took care of us and treated us like family. They had a really nice lounge and made us feel right at home. I am so happy with my tattoo it was exactly what I wanted and Steven even helped sketch out multiple designs until it was perfect showing so much patience with us!

I absolutely loved this place and everyone in it. I felt at home. I appreciate the convos laughter and the amazing music. The atmosphere was calming and very nice on the eyes. I had the pleasure of having Marina do my husband and I’s tattoos. She was so wonderful, patient, kind, and talented. We love our tattoos and are so happy with the results! Marina gave excellent customer service all around and she was also very easy to chat with during the 3 hour session!

I’m covered in tattoos and this is the Worst place I’ve ever been for one. The tattoo “artist “ Lauree was terrible I had an all day session for a tattoo that was supposed to be started and finished that day and we agreed to a Price before the tattoo was started but she didn’t finish the tattoo that day because she kept taking smoke breaks and finish before the time of are session because she “had to leave at this at a certain time “ even tho we scheduled an all day session which had a time of 8hours then she made me book another session to finish my tattoo and made me pay more then The price she originally gave me. She was very unsanitary and super unprofessional. Once again the tattoos artist name was Lauree

I had such an amazing experience getting a beautiful piece of art tattooed by Laurie! She is very talented, meticulous and a super cool chick! She sang tunes for 6 hours and I Shazammed a lot of her music ️, by the end of it I walked away with a beautiful tattoo and a hug from Laurie, Steven was also pretty awesome!

This business isn't essential but the owner thinks otherwise. It's funny that he thinks his rights are being infringed upon.

Don't waste your time with these guys, there's much MUCH better ink you can get around town, when shops start opening.

Original review: Walked in today for a consult for a large piece. The place immediately attracted me as it appeared spotless and Karen was amazing. Unfortunately Steven had just finished an all night session and was unavailable, but I did the consult with Karen.

Despite not meeting Steve (I am completely not holding that against him as I know what long days are like, and I love the dedication it implied), I am so much more comfortable for my first tattoo in 20 years and excited to see what he comes up with and working with him.

Through my conversation with karen, I discovered that the owner has many similar interests as me, is a very talented pencil/realism artist (clearly inspired by JD hillberry who i also try to learn from although not as well.)

I felt so at ease just during my consult I immediately booked a smaller piece with the other artist there. So.two tattoos coming soon.

Highly recommend at least having a conversation if you're looking for a unique and relaxed experience. Karen mentioned i sound like a "lifer" and if the rest of my experience continues like my initial one.i just might be.

Edit: should have mentioned the second artist for the smaller piece will be Lauree, with whom I am also looking forward to working with.

Covid spreaders! Clearly they don't care about the health and welfare of their customers & community not wearing masks and defying lockdown orders, shameful! Being a lifelong Superman fan I thought this was going to be my place to go to for a Superman tat given their name but not a chance now! I'll take my business to a shop that cares about the community and deserves my business!

Everyone is really nice and makes you feel very comfortable. Especially the tattoo artist. They're very knowledgeable and can answer and help make sure you're in the right direction to a proper healing tattoo.

My cousin got his first tattoo here with Andi. She was super helpful in educating the two of us on what to expect. Very friendly. The end result? Amazing. Would totally recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

My sister and I came in to get matching tattoos and we weren’t expecting them to look so amazing. We got two each to represent our childhood and a sport we love so much, floorball, which we play at an international level for.

Great staff and I love my tattoo. I was a little worried how it would turn out with having parkinsons but Dita was so patience with me and did a great job.

I really gotta say this place is the best in town. The artists are very talented, professional and friendly. The use all high-end quality materials and tools. I'm very happy with the tattoo I got done by Andi, she really did more than I expected, I give all my props to her. So I highly recommend this place not only because of the artists but also because it's so clean and so legit.

Went with my girlfriend for her birthday to get her first tattoo and i can safely say when I go for my first tattoo that’s the only place I’d go to. The amount of time they spend teaching you about tattoos is unreal they make you feel like family not a customer. A month ago I went and got my first tattoo at Kryptonian Ink and I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was nice the place was super clean and the atmosphere was great. Dita was my artist and she did an amazing job. I got exactly what I wanted and I'm already planning my 2nd. The aftercare was amazing with picture follow ups to make sure I was healing ok and nothing was going wrong. I will definately be going back. I would just like to thank everyone there for a great experience.

I wish that I could give more than 5 stars following our experience at Kryptonian Ink. My sister in law and I went to this location after a lot of thought and consideration. We were extremely pleased with our experience.
We had the extreme pleasure of meeting and working with the owner Stephen Stacey. Due to our inexperience he took the time to talk us for over two hours. He showed us all of his equipment and the additional steps he takes to ensure the safety and comfort of all of his clients.
When it came time for us to get our tattoos he made sure that we were comfortable. He was friendly, considerate and very funny. He made the entire experience fun and interesting from start to finish.

I would recommend this location to anyone considering getting a tattoo. I know that I won't be going anywhere else the next time!

Well where do I even start. I got a tattoo here (my 7th) today and it was more then amazing! Andi did my tattoo and she did an amazing job, very very professional, she knows her industry like the back of her hand and made sure we were very comfortable and made sure we knew every thing she was using was brand new. Stephen the owner was there as well we talked while my friend was getting tattood and it was like I have been going there for years.the staff makes you feel so welcomed and they have so much fun with their work! On top of the customer service the shop itself is beautiful! And even on top of that the work they do is very very well done! I will be recommending your shop to everyone! Can’t wait to get tattood by Andi again and everyone else at kryptonian!

I went for my first tattoo there and I had a great experience!

I first heard about this place because I heard people with dark skin had a good experience there. The thing is tattooing dark skin is different and sometimes tattoo artists dont know how to. However, that's not the case at Kryptonian Ink.

Stephen was very professional: he walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable. He also collaborated with me to make a design that best suited my interests and the outcome was beyond my expectations.

The accommodations are nice as well, while you are getting tattooed you can watch netflix, or listen to music and relax, if that's what you'd like.

The tattoo required me to be shirtless, and while I dont like to be shirtless, I felt very comfortable because of the professionalism and the accommodations.

If you are looking into getting your first tattoo (or just another tattoo of course) definitely book a consultation at kryptonian ink, it'll definitely be worth your time. The artists there are interested in working with you to create what you want, even if you don't know what you want.

From the first time I walked into the shop all the staff were super helpful. I told them what type of work I wanted and they hooked me up with Warren. I ended up doing a 6 hour sitting with him, not only is his work amazing he makes you feel right at home. The after care is completely unbelievable, Stephen follows up with you to make sure all the right things are being done so the work heals properly. I just can't say enough about them, if you want quality work and great customer service this is the place.

I went to Kryptonian Ink for my first tattoo on the advice of my daughter who has had 2 done there. It was absolutely the right choice. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. The studio was very clean and organized. The separate rooms and the wonderful people make it very welcoming. Andi did an awesome job on my tattoo. I am absolutely ecstatic with how it turned out. Steven, the owner, and Andi made sure I was comfortable (water and coffee were offered several times) and provided all the information I required for aftercare. Steven goes over and above what you would expect being involved in the aftercare.
I am already planning my next tattoo and it will be certainly be done by Andi in the Kryptonian Ink Studio.

Had my first tattoo done today with Dita! She was amazing and very thorough with showing me how everything should be properly protected and sanitary for everyone's safety. She was so kind and welcoming offering coffee/water when I walked in. She also reassured me and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole experience.
Best part was how happy and excited she was to do a small, but meaningful paw print.as well as taking away my tattoo virginity! Haha

My first experience at this location was amazing for many reasons! I was tattooed by Stephen. He was extremely kind and clearly passionate about his work! When I had tattoos done before, I was quite nervous, didn't want to look and at times found it quite painful. At Kryptonian Ink, this was not the case! I actually found it interesting and enjoyable to watch the tattoo be done (on the inside of my forearm) and Stephen was encouraging of this, though very supportive of my nerves and let me go at my own pace! This tattoo although the more intricate of all of the ones I have, felt the least painful. I think this was attributed to the comfort, professional skill and resources at the studio. Overall it was a great experience and a story I love to share. Much respect for Stephen and his studio - would definitely recommend!:)

I went to Kryptonian ink for my first tattoo, I decided to get "grandpa" tattooed on my foot in memory of my grandpa who had passed away recently. I have to say that after going here I do not think I will go anywhere else. The shop was very clean and the staff were very friendly and understanding. I also loved the fact that they provided care after the tattoo was complete (sending pictures everyday, tegaderm and lotion after the tegaderm is removed. The owner was amazing, as well as my tattoo artist. Andi did amazing lines and she was very friendly, I will defiantly go back to her.

Had the pleasure of experiencing my first tattoo ever with Dita at the old King st location and I was really impressed! I ended up getting my second tattoo at the current location (428 Concession st) and once again, I was beyond amazed. Ive since had a few more gorgeous pieces added to my collection and I can honestly say I will NEVER get a tattoo anywhere else. The artists here are phenomenal, lovely people who treat you like family and I encourage anybody who is looking for a great tattoo AND experience to check out Kryptonian Ink!

This place is top notch. The owner is running a 5 star shop. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. The shop is exceptionally clean and well organized. I think that this is the best place to get a tattoo not just in Hamilton but the surrounding area. I have been to many tattoo parlours but will only go to this one from now on. I would trust any of there artists, if they are at this shop then they are excellent. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks Stephen I will be back.
