Krystos Modern Greek Cuisine

Seated fast. First approach 14 min later. No quality check. Had to get bus boy to get our check. Server never said by or thank you. Granted they where short staff but a little heads up of situation would have helped.

The food was great. This was my second visit. Yianni, our server was so attentive and friendly.

Johnny took excellent care of us today for lunch. Shrimp bowl was absolutely delicious. Will be back for sure. Thanks again Johnny!

Food and drinks were amazing! My server Yani was amazing and took good care of me while i was there, can't wait to come back!

Faustino was absolutely exceptional he always serves me, my family and friends. Also, the red sangria and negronis are always on point, thank you fastino and krystos for the perfect night out.

Wonderful staff. There was one small mistake with my order and the head Chef came out and apologized, then did everything he could to fix it. This restaurant cares about their customers. I feel good supporting a local business run by people who go the extra mile to make their customers happy. Excellent selection of Greek food, the souvlaki is excellent. Tzatziki was delicious. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant!

Krystos was a family favorite, we have enjoyed many meals together there. The service was great, atmosphere welcoming and the food was good. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore - the service has declined, cleanliness is questionable and the food is not fresh or cooked properly.

There is usually only one server tending to the entire restaurant, the poor server is overworked and stressed out! The last family get together was this pass weekend. We sat down and waited over 20 minutes for our server, we understood she was doing the best she could. We ordered our food, a mixture of dishes that included beef, fish and chicken. The two chicken dinners arrived, not charcoal grilled but almost " boiled or steamed" the inside was still pink. They had to be returned to be cooked some more, the mussels were not cleaned, they were gritty and had an off taste, all of the salads had discolored lettuce - just old and not fresh.

To top it all off, as we were getting ready to leave we went to the bathroom only to have a mouse run across the hallway entrance - we left immediately.

To the Owners of this restaurant - it is truly sad to see how this restaurant is being maintained. It needs a deep clean from top to bottom. Get rid of your plants or learn to maintain them because the restaurant has little flies which are gnats from your plants.
The chef needs to stop preparing food in advance and focus on providing FRESH foods in order to retain your customer base. I am not the only patron the left feeling the same way. There was a couple leaving stating they would never return.

The good thing is we live in Toronto and there are lots of great greek restaurants that provide better quality food and a clean establishment.

My brother-in-law brought the families after his baptism to Kristos Restaurant. The food was great but far from the highlight of the night.
THE highlight was the service from our server Faustino. To put it simply: the man was ON FIRE that night. Like a man possessed or a man on a mission to show he's the best damn thing that's ever happen to the restaurant industry. And that he was! He was serving us (easily 4-5 tables) and another 3-4 tables PLUS orders/take out. Saying this guy CRUSHED it that night would be an understatement to what happen.
He even put on the Cowboys game for us (he is an Eagles fan). Service like this simply doesn't exist anymore. If you're tired of going out and having a mediocre experience, then you NEED to try KRISTOS and ask for FAUSTINO's service: You WILL NOT be disappointed!

The food was incredible.

Everything was seasoned well. The lamb was tender. Everything tasted fresh and expertly made.

Good food, good service and prices were good for the portions received. Will go again. Here we are again!

I wanted to like this place, but there were a handful of things that made my experience disappointing. Some positives to note, the staff were great. Very friendly and welcoming. However, the food could use some work. My partner and I went to get the saganaki, and we’re disappointed at the fact that it was not heated thoroughly. When we tried to dip our bread, we were unable to get through the brick of cheese. The inside was cool to the touch. We ended up taking it home to reheat ourselves. Additionally, they failed to mention that they had run out of chips for their “Greek Nachos”, so instead they had replaced the chips with fries, but they did not mention that prior to us ordering. The lamb souvlaki plate was delicious, and flavourful, we’d go back for that meal. Otherwise, it was an okay experience.

Amazed by the souvlaki chicken wrap, exactly like I am eating in my favourite souvlaki place in Athens that I have choose between hundreds different places in Greece! Must try, this and by this I can certainly can't wait to try all the rest of the traditional plates that are by great choice in the menu! Congratulations for the authenticity. Got the lamb. It really hit the spot. Exactly what I was craving for. Large chunks of delicious grilled lamb. Definitely repeats.

Still currently having dinner right now. The food is very good! Our server is very nice. Brought out the wrong pasta- spicy tried to eat it but after 3 spoonfuls, I couldn't. She was very nice about it and is about to bring me my correct order.

We did Summerlious, food was decent. Good portion size. Lamb was tasty. Calamari was abit too flake, baklava was stale. Good customer service. Otherwise wasn't too bad

Take out food was absolutely awful. Opened the container and everything looked grey and depressing. Wish I took a photo because we spent $80 on so little meat and bad rice.

Amazing and fresh Greek food, this place is a must try for everyone. The restaurant had a really nice atmosphere, and I’m glad I took a piece of the baklava home, best one I’ve ever had!

The servers Faust and Jonny were also very attentive and nice, did a great job with the table, will be back soon!

Excellent! We've eaten lots of Greek food in Toronto but never here.

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious! Portions were generous, even though we were there for a discount special.

Very ok. But Greek food can’t be great but it can be good. This is not. Also issue with the phones. No one answers.

Little tricky to find as you need to drive all the way around

We went there for dinner tonight, my friend and her son with autism and my daughter, the waitress tried charging us for the juice that came with the kids meal. And then argued with us that we ordered several more juices even tho we did not. She was incredibley rude, and argumentative when we clearly new how many juices we ordered, she also kept giving us dirty looks. Not a great family restaurant for little kids it’s unfortunate because we did like the food.
