I spoke with Kristen Palmer on June 13, she requested me to email which I did. Got no response, I then called back August 15th, for her to tell me no she can’t help a sanctuary that is in need of a tractor with trailer. Seemed to me she didn’t even ask the ppl in charge instead just said no to get me off the phone. Very rude. She never even responded my email which she told me she received.

My experience with kubota canada and there service has been very negative. I have purchased 3 pieces of equipment through what I thought was a respected dealer keyag kubota. In particular with a m7 151p kvt tractor, noted specs of tractor have been far from one's wrote in prochure. I have had issue with front suspension and starting since new aswell a transmission whine in high gear. Tractor was purchased for the use of feed and haying, as per a feed tractor loader specs related capacity of 5400lbs, noted I have installed 3 additional weights per wheel and yes 2 bales in loader that exceed no more than 3500lbs make the operation of tractor very unsafe 1 bale at most loader is capable of handling over uneven conditions. Starting at minus 15 or lower plugged in a building nearly impossible noted does not even crank. I have delt with these concerns that a overseas tractor is to be used in only warm conditions. Reason for this rating is not of the most concern. I have had a tractor down out of service because a hydraulic front cylinder had cracked due to manufactor defects since October 27th been trying to get resolution within warranty guidelines. Kubota canada has promised several times to resolve the matters and yet to do so. Kuubota service representative Paulo head manager kubota canada Robert the provicial representative of Alberta and former owners of Edmonton Kubota and Keyag Kubota have been very difficult in agreeing of paying for additional costs. Kubota customer service has been at best a 1 it takes nearly 4 or more phone calls to get through and talking directly with Robert or Paul neither phone or email address have been exchange. Dealing within dealers over the past 3 years with keyag and the owner. His employees that represent keyag have been at most non educated noted been 3 service advisors in this period of time no. There is several more details that I have experienced with kubota that I have yet to publish that show reasoning lack communication and business ethics.

Kubota L6060 tractors are basically garbage on wheels. If you need reliability. Buy a John deere. Quote from the dealer. "we dont know why it keeps breaking.and we dont have the the time to figure it out". Now that's dedication to quality lol

Bought grand l3560. Have less than 80 hours on it so far new fuel guage, 3 months later new dash now it won't idle up or pull itself on flat surface. Would not recommend kubota even to people I don't like

I currently own 2 - 2018 Kubota excavators and 1 kubota skid steer.
Two months ago my 2018 Kubota KX 080 excavator broke down unable to swing the machine.
I have extended warranty good until July 2021
The dealer in Essex Ontario brought the machine and found that the seal on the swing gear had failed causing the swing gear to cease.

After not having our machine for almost two months Kubota is NOT honoring their warranty.

They claim their machines are not meant to be used in the mud or dirt! Last time I checked that’s what these machines are

DO NOT BUY any Kubota equipment.

In recent years their quality has been depleted
And they do not stand behind their products

During these difficult times I was happy to hear that Kubota was willing to work with their customers and defer our April, May &June payments and add them to the end of our lease. After receiving an email confirming this we felt confident that they would not be taking these payments. Needless to say we were shocked when they then went in and took $1000.00 out of our account in April. We contacted Kubota by email to ask what had happened we were informed that there was nothing they would do but our May & June payment would not come out. Needless to say we have no confidence in their word since they neither owned their mistake nor did they reverse the payment.they actually told us a payment could not be reversed. (B. S.) I know to a company the size of Kubota $1000.00 may not seem like a big deal for a small business owner that has been mandated to not work do to COVID19. $1000 is a great deal of money especially when you have been led to believe we are all in it together yet we are still left dealing with the financial stress that comes from not being able to earn. P. S.this is the 7th Kubota we have financed through Kubota and the only one we still have on lease thank you for standing by a loyal repeat customer.i guess it takes times like this to find out how much Kubota truly cares about their customers and small business in Canada.

Having grown up around John Deere and worked for 3 dealers over a 15 year span i can tell you from my experiences that Kubota Canada is a company like no other. Their family first mentality is a driving force behind their dealer network. Like all manufacturers the Kubota product can have issues from time to time but its how you react to those situations that set you apart. I wont go into detail about my past with the green guys, but i will say is when you buy a Kubota you become part of the family, once and forever!

Problem plagued tractors. Buying a Kubota was the equivalent of buying a night mare. Non stop issues. If it wasn't the windows falling off, it was the hydraulic pump letting go, or the hydrostatic transmissions failing. When you thought it was all good, the wiring harness shorted out. Spend the extra few dollars buy a better tractor. This is only my opinion, but to me, owning a Kubotas (yes many of them) was a horrible experience.

What I get from your answer is that Kubota tractors can not handle 3rd party equipment sold by, installed by, delivered by, financed by Kubota and its dealers? You make it seem like I was the only person having this issues when in reality you had to modify the rear end of most tractors sold at that dealer. I'm guessing around 50 Machines from about 10 different snow removal companies, the only different is that they did not rock the boat, I did. And if you treat family like you treated me, then I am happy I was never born in your gene pool. Your tractors had flaws, all 50 machines, had the same issues.

Lets talk about maintenance. Rental tractors from a local Kubota dealership delivered to their customers had transmission faillures, does that dealer not know how to maintain their machine? I had the same issues as most of the other operators in the area, do they all not know how maintain a machine. My liscensed mechanic fallowed the operators maintaince book that we purchased from the dealer at a cost of 300.00$. So I had the same issues as the other opertors in the area, so therefore we all did not fallow the maintenance, or maybe your machines were just not well built. The owner of one the biggest Kubota dealerships in Canada told me the early versions of the 5240/5740 had horrible transmission issues and to never buy one. Does he not know how to maintain them as well? How does one do maintenance on window clips that contiously fall off? Please show me the paperwork on mudflaps maintenance that fall off and tear tires to shreds?

All of our problems ended when we purchased John deere tractors, same maintenance programs, same mechanics, same 3rd party snowblower, everything was the same, but we had no issues with the john Deere, and last month, one of the biggest Canadian Kubota customer, traded in 10 Kubota tractors for 10 brand new John deere tractors, he as well had enough of dealing with the non stop issues of being a Kubota owner,

Give me a break KUBOTA, stop blaming your customers, for your faillures, put on your big boy pants, take your lumps for producing a sub-par piece of equipment, and do a better job next time. People will actually respect you for taking ownership as opposed to what your are doing now,

PS, I will never buy another Jap Scrap Kubota
Sincerely
Martin

Looking for qty of engines but distribution here in Ontario is charging DOUBLE the cost of Perkins and Caterpillar. We can buy new equipment in the USA, take the engines out of them and ship them to Ontario for less then just the new engine here. Quality might be there but the sales sure are not.

This morning I contacted Transport Canada, Health Canada (consumer safety devision) as well as most of the Labour boards in every province informing them that the L6060 ptos dont turn off on many new tractors. They were very very concerned and happy I called. Hopefully pulling the tractors off the roads, and stopping their sale for a while will help you solve the issue. #BobHickey

Have a nice day

Our Kubota ZD grass tractors are amazing they work 5 days a week 8 hrs a day and we drive them hard! These things never let us down! One more thing Kooy brothers Mechanic (Bobby) keeps our Equitment in top running shape.

The best part of Kubota is how fast you can get parts. Its a good thing, because owning a Kubota will require you to buy a lot of parts. Seriously though, these tractors break so fast that sometimes they are broken when delivered brand new to the your farm.
