Kula Spa and Salon (Hair Styling and Aesthetics)

I had an excellent experience with Michelle Jones at Kula Spa and Salon today! She made me look like a million bucks! I’m so happy and I’m most grateful she accepted my booking! Lisa did my daughter's ear piercing. She was amazing, very gentle made my daughter feel very comfortable and at ease. High recommend for children's ear piercing. She did a wonderful job:)

Janice is the best. First good haircut that I have had in a long time. My daughter (also a long ago hairdresser) was very happy with her cut.

Unfortunately I cannot share the same sentiment as others about this salon. I came in looking for a very simple hair wash, blow-dry and style. I was looking for some very simple modern waves and showed the stylist a picture of what I was looking for. When she brought out a very dated small curly iron I knew I was in trouble. I asked for a flat iron to be used for the curls and it was very clear that this standard technique was not in my stylists abilities. I am generally not very critical but this was the absolute worst my hair has ever looked styled. I think my stylist knew that she had failed as well but was too ashamed to admit it. It was a huge waste of $75.00 as I immediate went home to re-wash and style my hair myself as I had a wedding to attend that afternoon. I cannot recommend this salon to anyone under 40 as it is very dated and style trends are clearly not being observed. I was very disappointed with the outcome.
