Kumon Math and Reading Centre of SCARBOROUGH - EASTOWN

My son has been enrolled in the reading program for the last few years and he's made incredible progress. He's now become an avid reader. This is a testament to Vanisha and the great teachers at Kumon.

My son and my daughter are enrolled to both programs. They have been with this centre for 5 years and really helped them not only to become more confident and independent in completing their works both in school and in Kumon but also have gained more knowledge and competencies both in Reading and Math. Now my son finally finished the reading program.thanks to the excellent staff, teachers and owner/manager, Vanisha for always being supportive of my kids all throughout these years. I 100% recommend parents to enroll their kids to these programs especially to KUMON EASTOWN CENTRE for their excellent services, guidance and supervision. Kudos to Vanisha, Maria and staff!

Vanisha and her team are amazing! My three children attend Kumon in Eastown and making fantastic progress in both math and reading. Their needs are individually catered for which I find remarkable as they are each very different learners. As a parent, you want what is best for your child without overburdening them and I truly feel Eastown Kumon have mastered this! Can't recommend them enough - thank you!

Material that is supplied is excellent, not just that staff are well equipped and during this pandemic they have been amazing over virtual classes and supportive and take time to verify and correct during virtual classes. Promptly conduct monthly tests. Thanks to vanisha and team for all the efforts.

One of the best solutions to complement your child education. Great, dedicated staff and hands on owner, always going the extra mile to help your little ones reach their education goals. Highly recomended.

We love East Town kumon. Vanisha and her staff are amazing! They know each child by their names, are very attentive, helpful and friendly. My son started at this kumon when he was 3.5 years old and then transferred to another location but we came back as he thrived at this location. The care is individualized. I would highly recommend this location if you want your child to have one on one attention and to succeed.

For past 3 years our son is taking his math class in the Kumon Eastown. We notice a tremendous improvement in his math skills. Looking at my son's performance, now we are sending our daughter too for the math and English class. We are satisfied with the results. Thanks to the instructors for their efforts.

My son has been attending the math class at this centre since the last 4 years. The instructors are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make sure the concepts are clear to the students. The centre head, Ms. Vanisha is very cooperative, helpful and encouraging. Despite the COVID situation, the entire team has worked hard to ensure a positive learning experience. I would highly recommend this centre.

I am glad that I sent my child to get math and English lessons from Kumon. My child was weak in math, however by attending Kumon, my child’s math skills has improved tremendously and stands first in class always. The English class helped my child to read and write independently. Thank you Kumon. I also would like to take this opportunity and loud Venisha for assisting my child to achieve these strides.

I have two children, aged 10 and 8, who have been enrolled in the Kumon Math Program for over 5 years. Vanisha and the staff working here (especially Maria!) are knowledgeable and do everything they can to create a positive learning environment for the kids. They answer questions, are flexible and supportive in every possible way to ensure my kids are successful and get the most out of the program. My kids progress at a steady rate and gain the fundamental math skills that seem to have gone by the wayside in the schools. Being in Kumon has taught my kids to learn and study independently. Because of this, attending school virtually during this pandemic has been relatively easy and quite manageable. We are committed to this program and plan to stay enrolled until the kids complete the final level.

This is a really great Kumon centre that takes great care in the students. The staff are kind, patient, understanding, and responsive, and I especially really like Vanisha, who is able to suggest tailored curriculum to my daughter's needs. Physical distancing is effective as well, so a safe environment for children overall. Highly recommend.

Kumon doesn't develop the skills and concept required for learning according to curriculum system. It's just memorization and retention. I don't recommend to anyone Kumon.

Under new management, this place is a great tutoring center than ever before. Staffs are caring and help kids to perform well in reading and math. They conducted awarding ceremony 2 weeks ago to motivate the kids. Though it is not in control of this institute, i wish parents park their cars in parking lot rather than waiting in the sidelines, it pose great risk for childrens crossing the way.

This is the biggest Kumon Center I have ever seen. Hundreds of kids are being taught/coached here. And I am surprised to see more of less equal amount of tutors roaming around to help kids in the class. I see tutors allow parents to accompany the kids in the class to discuss the positives and negatives in each and every class or at least when ever necessary.

Ms Vanisha is the ever smiling, optimistic center head. If you find any issues, be open to talk with her, and you never turn up without fixing it.

Regarding notice period, it's like just 2 or 3 days not the whole 30 days.

You never regret when you opt for this center. This center is flexible enough in all possible scenarios.

My daughter has been at this centre for sometime now and she has really excelled in her reading and math skills. The caring and patient staff along with the contemporary learning environment fosters an ideal space to learn for young minds.
