Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Oak Ridges

My daughter has been joined in the center for a long time, I found it’s really helpful for her academic performance in school and I recommended it to many of my friends’ children too. Very nice environment and responsible staff.

My daughter has been with this location for almost a year and a half now. They are very organized and dedicated to the kids and their goals.

Today is my son's last day with Kumon, he will finish his English program with Kumon. My son enjoys and benefits so much doing Kumon exercises.

I enrolled both of my children in Kumon, and I've been thoroughly impressed with the results. Their reading, writing, and vocabulary skills have shown remarkable improvement. Even my 5-year-old son effortlessly performs mental addition without any hesitation. The center's staff is exceptional, actively engaging with the children. Farnaz, in particular, has been an excellent coach and mentor for both my kids. She is very calm and patient with all the children. She has always been very accommodating. The incentive system, where children earn Kumon dollars for prizes, effectively motivates them to complete their homework and class assignments promptly. I am extremely content with the outstanding service provided by this centre.

My son Jerry has made great progress in math or English by very professional tutors’ help. They have the patience to check my son’s homework and make sure he understood the assignment and felt comfortable. And also, Ms Farnaz so care about students’ families. Whenever my son made any progress to entry a higher level, I am very happy to always receive her congratulation emails. So I think I'll continue to get my kids in kumon’s class.

I strongly recommend here if you pay attention to your children grades and their educational skills. They have lots of helpful programs and assignments. Farnaz who is manager, treat with respect with parents and is so sensitive about students progress.

As a student who was unable to write full paragraphs in 7th grade, I was enrolled in kumon in late 2014 / early 2015 for the reading program. The first few booklets I received were fairly simple, but the more passages I completed, the more challenging each subsequent one became, and the more I needed to push myself. In doing so, I came to understand and appreciate the importance of self-study and consistent practice outside of standard class times since these, along with clear and concise instruction from the centre staff, were essential in my learning.

Overall, my experience as a student for 2 years at this centre was exceptional. All of the centre staff were very kind and helpful in addressing any questions I had, the centre director Miss Farnaz was very caring and tailored my curriculum based on close analysis of my progress, and above all, this centre created a safe learning environment. Even as an assistant, all of the above held true in that, Miss Farnaz and fellow staff were extremely kind and considerate, and having the opportunity to work here for 5 years felt truly fulfilling. I definitely attribute much of my academic success to the work ethic and personal growth I developed here both as a student and assistant, and I would sincerely recommend the reading and math program to any student who wishes to improve their overall learning experience.

I've been at the Oak Ridges Centre for around half a decade as both a student and assistant and it's been an amazing journey. Taking the Math program played a big role in my academic success as I was able to learn ahead and develop the learning skills I needed to succeed in school. Kumon made me proficient in many concepts that were necessary in various courses, and likely many more to come.

Working here was also a pleasure, with all the staff and owner being incredibly friendly and supportive. Never have I felt uncomfortable coming to the centre, with everyone doing their best to support the students. My daughters have been with Kumon in Oakridges for 2 years now and it has been the best decision we made! My older daughter didn't know how to read and a few months after working with Farnaz and her kind staff, she was reading graphic novels and comic books. She is now a voracious reader and reads books above her grade level. My younger daughter has and excellent strong foundation which helped her tremendously in grade 1 and she too now is reading effortlessly. The math program provided by Kumon and delivered by Farnaz and her staff has provided an excellent foundation for my girls. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable and provide a safe learning environment for my daughters to learn and ask questions. Joining Farnaz's center has been an extremely positive experience and I am so grateful for all their support and hard work with my kids! Kumon Math and Reading in Oak Ridges is the best learning centre for Math and Reading. I see, Ms. Farnaz is a talented and dedicated teacher to her students. Kumon Oak Ridges is an amazing and helpful center. My son have been studying in this center for more than 6 years in both subjects, math and reading. My daughter started reading few months ago and she just joined for math. I am totally satisfied with the results. Ms. Farnaz is a dedicated and hard working teacher with a great team.

My son attended Kumon Oak Ridges for almost 10 years. He enjoyed the experience very much, not only because it brought him to a level in Math that he was comfortable with, but also because it taught him to work independently, persevere and manage his time. More importantly, this Kumon Center in Oak Ridges always supported him and his academic abilities and always encouraged him to work to his potential. He excelled in Math throughout elementary school and now that he has started high school, I have no doubt that he will continue to excel. Kumon is very helpful in my child's learning stage. Kumon Oak Ridges is an amazing learning centre. During the pandemic, Ms. Farnaz immediately sets up zoom classes to allow students continue learning seamlessly with no interruptions. Her dedication and enthusiasm for education shows in her work and in the way she interacts with student and parents. Kumon Oak Ridges is constantly going the extra miles to put programs in place to assist and motivate students to attain their academic goals. Even though we have moved out of the Oak Ridges area, we still continue to stay with this particular centre for these reasons. We are super happy with the progress that our 3 children have made with Kumon.

For around 4 or 5 years, I have had the greatest opportunity to be both a student and an assistant here at Kumon Oak Ridges. As a student, I was confident that Kumon Oak Ridges would be able to support my journey in finishing the math program. I have been a student at other centres as well, but the support that I had from Farnaz and her assistants here was greater than all the previous centres combined. It is a well-organized and structured centre which prioritizes the success of their students. Throughout my journey as a student, Farnaz has always pushed me to strive for success and greatness, which is evidence that this centre truly cares about their students. From an assistant's perspective, I know that each and every staff member here enjoys working with the students and is highly capable of being great role models to the children here. They are all highly intuitive and enthusiastic about their work. All in all, Kumon Oak Ridges is one of the best centres to send your children to, you will not regret it!

I worked at this location for about three years and think it is a wonderful place for work and learning. Manager is very professional and always communicated with employees so we were always aware of any new or changing situations and we were always taught how to best adjust teaching styles for each and every student.
