Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Pickering - Liverpool

Mr. Rushdi and his team are wonderful. We are forever grateful for Kumon helping our daughter with her reading. I would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend this Kumon centre.

The centre is always clean and well run. The online classes are going well too. Mr. Rushdi is a great instructor and it’s obvious he cares about the kids’ success.

This is a great Kumon Centre. I enrolled my daughter and son over a year ago as I noticed that their reading and math skills were not at grade level. With great instructions and constant practice, they are doing so much better and are now reading and writing at grade level. In addition, math skills are above grade level. Moreover, my children's confidence level in school has just skyrocketed.

Mr. Rushdi and his staff at the centre are wonderful, patient and attentive to the student. They take time to ensure the students understand and are always open to the questions raised by them. What I also noticed is that they are open to questions and concerns raised by the parents as well.

We highly recommended this Kumon Center.

My son has been attending for a couple of months now. Staff has been quite accommodating to us, as my son has focus challenges. Everyone has been very genuinely sweet to him. It’s been a huge improvement and my son even passed his first level! He’s been reading much better since we started Kumon. Great location and staff!

I am currently employed at this Kumon center, and I enjoy working as an assistant. The Kumon team is encouraging and has an amazing level of commitment in their teaching style, which is motivating and encouraging for the students. Each student's unique needs are given first priority by Mr. Rushdi, who also fosters a culture of appreciation for his employees and ensures that parents feel like they have a significant role in their children's education.

Our 5 year old started Kumon at this location at the beginning of Jan (2023) and in just four short months, he's made a HUGE improvement with his reading. For any parents out there who's kid is struggling with reading, I highly recommend Kumon as it really has a made a difference and has given our little guy a lot more confidence at school.

This institute has been instrumental in the quality of education my son has been getting & his grades in school has improved significantly. Rushdi and his staff deserve this credit and I thank them profusely.

Kumon Reading and math is such a great addition to our sons education. I am beyond impressed how Rushdi runs the center and how he invests in each childs development. I regret not starting sooner, thank you Rushdi and Kumon team. Since joining they have not only improved their Math and Reading skills but they have also shown a tremendous jump in confidence which in turn has helped with their high school grades, Thank you so much for all your support and dedication.

Am super impressed with the progress I have seen in my friends both children at the kumon of pickering Liverpool location. The team is professional and caring. Her child who is grade 1 has made more progress in both reading and math in the past 2 months than I have been able to get him to do in the past two years. Her child in grade 3 has improved to sounding out her reading words rather than just guessing and has improved in speed with her numbers. We really hope to continue the progress. Very happy with this program.

Kumon has greatly helped my child's confident as well her school work. Instructor very caring and makes sure that children complete homework.

Just finished working here for the summer. It was a pleasure gaining such experience from working online and in-center, with duties ranging from assisting to administrative tasks. I'd say have the opportunity to work here has been a very valuable experience that I will take with me to the rest of my education and into the workplace.

I attended the Kumon math program for 6 years. At first it was extremely hard for me to keep up and see the value in attending Kumon. But when I got to highschool I became more concerned with my grades and that's when I began to see how Kumon had equipped me with the skills I needed to do well. I am extremely grateful for all the encouragement I got to keep working harder and pushing myself. I can say without a doubt that Kumon is capable of providing academic support and also motivating students to working beyond their grade level.

I currently work at this Kumon and I have to say it has definitely supplied me many valuable skills. The care and attention given to kids is great and it's amazing seeing the confidence of the children grow each time they come into the center:)

I enrolled my son, Grade 2, in Kumon in May. Due to the pandemic he was only reading at an early Grade 1 level. By late July he was surpassing his Grade 2 reading expectations. My daughter, SK, was enrolled in March and within about 6 weeks she went up easily 4 reading levels. This program has been incredible for my kids and my kids actually love it because the teachers are AMAZING! I would highly recommend Kumon of Pickering-Liverpool to anyone looking, it's very affordable, especially considering how quickly you see results.

I completed the Kumon Math Program at this centre, and I am now working as a grader under the instructor, Ms. Valerie D'Souza. My time at this centre has been filled with positivity and encouragement. I was always helped by Ms. D'Souza whenever I faced a problem with my work that I could not resolve myself. As a student, I was always treated with kindness, which pushed me to do my very best in order to complete the program. The atmosphere of this centre is always great, and I love contributing to the team here at Kumon. I am content saying that this centre is great for students of all levels to achieve their academic endeavours.

My experience was extremely negative at this location. The owner and staff member belittled my son when reviewing his assessment results, knowing he has a learning disability, told me this program was not for him and to take him somewhere else because he will fail due to his age. My son is 12 years old. We decided to go to the Pickering West location because we believe in the Kumon system, amazing! Night and day. My son is now eager to go to Kumon and expressed interest in doing both programs!
