Kumon Math & Reading Centre

Miss Kandy is an excellent teacher who truly cares about her students. She is very good at working with the kids and helping them with any problems they may have. Her tutors have been very kind, knowledgeable and helpful as well.

From what I've observed, The Kumon program has been very effective for kids to gain critical thinking skills and the mindset to learn materials independently and at their own pace. For anyone who is thinking about enrolling their children in an after school program to further improve upon their math and reading skills I would strongly recommend this place.

Ms Kandy is an amazing instructor. She puts so much time and effort in children. We have known her for last 6 years. We feel our children have created a discipline and a sense of maturity in doing their academics and extra curricular activities. She is a mentor and a teacher. Thank you Ms Kandy for being a role model for my children.

Kumon has really helped my children excel in both reading and math. Without the tools that Kumon Whitby provided by my children would be behind in school. The support and dedication of the teachers at the Whitby Mall location provide a safe and fun learning environment. I highly recommend Kumon Whitby!

My brother and I have been students of Ms. Kandy for 4 years, and I can say we have both excelled well in Math and are well ahead of school. Even during covid, precautions are well kept and we always feel comfortable enough to go to the centre.

Miss Kandy is very passionate about her job. She takes her time to to make sure every child understands. My girl has been doing excellently well in her math class thanks to her.

My aunts kids have used kumon for 3 years and are so intelligent and advanced. Ms. Kandy is very thorough and prior to covid went the extra mile with 1 on 1 tutoring if needed. Thanks to whitby mall kumon they perform well above their peers.

Under Mandy's leadership, our children have been challenged to excel in Math and have developed key learning skills that cross all subject matter. The support of their instructors has allowed them to engage in-school beyond simple memorizing.

Kandy Sundaram has been truly instrumental for my sons development at Kumon Centre, Whitby Mall. Her patience and understanding of kids behaviour and guiding them has been phenomenal. As a parent I will highly recommend this centre, my son has achieved a great success in math for which I give full credit to Ms. Kandy. There were times when I was ready to give up, and thought it might not work as my kid has been challenging, but she has helped us in having the patience to get through this. Thanks Ms. Kandy!
