Kupfert & Kim

I used to love Kupfert and Kim and have been a loyal customer since they first opened years and years ago. It was my go-to healthy option for so long.

But the last 3-4 times that I've been, with nostalgic memories on the mind, I've been incredibly disappointed. I've done both takeout directly from the in-store location and delivery. Portion sizes have gotten much much smaller. The food barely hit the top of the takeout box. Such a small amount of rice, and not much sauce. And on top of that, the prices have gone up, as they keep up with the rest of the city, but I would hope that at least the value stayed the same as before.

The value is just not what it used to be and I'm very saddened. I hope they fix it.

I was excited to get a celebratory waffle. Krish and Xico were so lovely, accommodating, welcoming, and friendly. They both displayed excellent teamwork and worked together to ensure myself and my partner were beyond satisfied. They ensured any concerns were met with utmost urgency and care.

It appears that issues with management and lack of staffing are still present after many years since my previous purchases. These 2 should be highlighted as go-getters with a passionate desire to complete tasks, even when strained.

Buyer beware: your tip is a tip out to staff AND bakery. Tipping for a staff individually will not inherently put money in the staff pockets. This is an ongoing issue outstanding many years.

Smoothie was like water, in cookie I tasted vegetable oil. I understand things are expensive but common. Do research, put some effort in how to make food taste not like water down cheap stuff

I had the bowl. So many healthy options. Food was very fresh & tasty. Ambience was perfect too. I'd visit again just to try out different combinations in the bowl. Loved this place.

I am appalled by the expensive prices, horrible service and overall lack of regard for customers. I would avoid eating here, and opt to go to the better option across the street Fresh.

My favourite Toronto restaurant. Kupfert has mastered vegan cuisine that is both healthy and delicious. No wonder they've been in business so long. Oh and negative reviews about small portions and loud music are untruthful. Portions are entirely reasonable and filling. P. S. I recommend the avo toast and any of the fresh-baked goods. Or anything else on the sumptuous animal-free menu. A+

They gave me sooo much food! I had the Guac burger. It seemed pretty healthy, and delicious! I also tried the lasagna and it was also really good. I will get that next time. Another person sitting at my table said the soup was the best she had ever tasted! Thank you!

Excellent experience! We ordered the lentil soup and the Mediterranean toast!

The M-Toast was super: the pomegranate accented the already subtle flavour. The soup was the perfect temperature and offered a nice spicy "kick". After, I felt full without that horrible "full" feeling!

The atmosphere was bright and inviting. The staff was efficient and courteous.

I highly recommend this restaurant - and I will return!

Great healthy food, really nice, accommodating staff, good internet. Not precious or hipster, just nice!

Went a couple weeks ago to get a smoothie for my son and it was terrible. It was super watered down with no flavour. Tried a salad today and the portion size was so small. This is an $18 salad. Crazy times

WOULD VISIT AGAIN — What a joy to walk into a venue and know that you can eat everything on the menu. That’s because it is all gluten-free!

Everyone was heartwarming and kind, I felt very welcomed, and the whole experience almost had a homey feel.

I ordered the avocado toast.

What surprised me with the toast and their bread was that it was all seed-based. There are such incredible gluten-free types of bread to be made from various gluten-free flours. I believe it’s a missed opportunity.

The avocado was entirely creamed. I would have preferred something that kept some resemblance to the actual avocado.
However, the combination with the radish, cucumber, and pickled red onion worked really well.

When it’s all said and done, I enjoyed the taste of the avocado toast and would come here again to try other things.

Delicious food that just happens to be healthy. As someone with severe medically required dietary restrictions I often forced to forego the simple pleasures of a tasty meal with friends unless I cook it myself. Kupfert & Kim deliver an option that's safe for us genetic freaks, with a varied menu of delicious delights, right downtown in a convenient location with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Every friend I bring sings your praises, even those who usually eat an unrestricted diet. You're helping to convert them! Keep up the great work!

Fresh, organic, vegan, and gluten-free food that is quick and beautifully presented.

We came here for lunch while in the neighbourhood. After ordering at the counter, we were given a table sign (with various designs of fruits/veggies) to bring to our table of choice. The staff taking my order was amicable and patient while I was choosing the ingredients for the “Build Your Own Bowl” option. (See the photo). My friend ordered their “Guac Burger. ”

On to the food review: ingredients were super fresh, and the avocado aioli was delicious. I was able to choose the ingredients I liked when building my bowl. The various veggies, toppings, and base were the perfect canvas for the creamy dressing. The roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and brown rice were cooked nicely. I felt full, yet light, after the meal.

I am looking forward to coming back and trying out the other food they have there.

If you love fresh food and a bright, cozy space with tons of real plants, this is the place for you.

Walked in here because I was starving. I got the blueberry smoothie and Tori Berry flax muffin. It was delicious! Staff was also friendly. I will be returning <3

This place is honestly unmatched. At least 1-2 times a week, I order their vegan broth + soup of the day. Their soups are so incredible that I order blindly every time, and I've never been let down. Truly incredible.

It used to be so good! But came back recently for a blueberry smoothie and it was pretty watery. Didn't even taste like blueberries. And it's so expensive too.

We have been partnered with Kupfert & Kim for more than 5 years. We connect offices to enable them to order custom lunches and the feedback from K&K has been constantly positive for half a decade! Their gluten-free and vegan options have always been a hit with health-conscious office workers and our partnership has always been great. The staff and management have been great throughout the years! Keep up the good work!

Took my friend here he doesn't eat meat and I do. Asked for a recommendation and I got the breakfast bowl with sweet potatoes as the base it was fantastic! Honestly so fresh and delicious really enjoyed the food would even come back for me non meat meals.

We have gotten dinner from Hello123 for numerous times and thought we would give this place a try for takeout weekends. Upon entering, we were greeted with disgruntled employee. Then when we arrived home and found out that they have made a decision to only give me 60% of what I ordered. What a scam!

I will not return to this place or take any of my friends there. Goodbye Hello123 as well.

Quality food! Very delicious and also looks so colorful (in a pleasant way). I would recommend anyone whether you are a vegan or not. We also got the matcha latte and the tea latte. Both are great too. The environment is cozy and they also provide wifi. Highly recommend this place!

The food here used to be amazing. Now it's a total rip-off. I went back to their Spadina location to get my favorite, the blueberry smoothie bowl. What I got was a bowl of ice cubes with a film of frozen blueberries. No milk (aparently you have to specifically ask for that now) and just a bowl of giant ice. With tip I paid over $14 for this. Total rip off and I will never go back.

The Guac and the Tahini burgers were super delish! Food came out fast and fresh. Friendly service and a very clean location. Their plant collection is also very cute:)

I got the k&k waffles! So good! Doesn't taste gluten free at all, just really delicious waffles! The cashew cream was yummy too! I just wish it came with jam or syrup though.

Great food and service. Getting bang for your buck is tricky with this style of food, but K+K deliver. Huge fan of their bread, best gf bread in town!

I'm neither vegan nor gluten-free, but this place serves AMAZING food. If you've ever tried other healthy bowl places, let me tell you that this place is by far the best I've tried. I have just read some reviews regarding their unsafe food handling, which concerns me. Since I ordered my food on UberEats and wasn't there to witness what was going on. Sure they're on average ~$1-2 more expensive than other places I've tried, but it's definitely worth it! Also, they don't charge extra for (let's say) quinoa and other specialty items, but their add-ons are more expensive than other places.

My girlfriend and I love this place. Their waffle is the best I've ever had and their latest squares are such an amazing snack! It is a bit pricey but it's definitely worth it. The service is amazing and I highly recommend this place.

Food tastes "okay", a little high priced and i've never finished a meal there, not because it was filling, but because you end up getting sick of the taste about a quarter of the way through.however all it takes is 1 bad customer service experience to not go anymore, and that's what I experienced.as a result, i won't be going anymore.plenty of other places that fill you up with healthy good tasting food at better prices

Best veggie food in town. Just really good food, veggie or not, actually! Get the soups and almond lime bowl.

The staff is so hard working, productive yet harmonious to all their customers. Amazing, hearty, money's worth smoothie bowls and pancakes!

This is my favourite place for a healthy, satisfying meal. The portions are very generous, and I always feel full, but never 'ick' after my meal. The staff are all super nice, and on one occasion when I had a problem with my bowl, the woman at the counter was super understanding and kind and fixed the problem right away. They get super busy during weekday lunch time, and are inundated with Ritual orders- you can tell they work really hard to keep on top of everything, and even when it's super busy the staff always say hello with a smile. My favourites are the Cauliflower Tahini and the Paleo Bowl, but you really can't go wrong!

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Toronto! The food is great, made fresh with plenty of healthy ingredients. It looks and tastes amazing and is good for you too! I had the Caluiflower Tahini on my most recent visit - that's one of the best bowls I think. I've heard the K&K Waffle is really good too but I have yet to try that!

Hearty, healthy, vegan meals, smoothies and baked goods! You won't be disappointed by any of the choices on their menu!

Came in 9: 15pm and the closed at 10pm. We were going to eat and be on our way. The girl looked annoyed as we approached the counter to order and reminded us that they closed at 10pm. 15mins to close they half turned of the lights of the restaurant to remind us they were closing at 10pm. Her attitude was terrible with every interaction, as she brought the food and drinks etc. The tables were all dirty with food all over them when we sat down. Old food was stuck everywhere at multiple tables as we looked where to sit.

Great selection of plant-based gluten free food and beverages! Love having a place where I can grab a coffee without paying extra for non-dairy milk <3

15 minutes to get a couple of espressos. Asked for my money back. I'm growing tired of lousy service in Neo-Toronto. Step up or step down.

The food was great and reasonably priced. Its a really cool place to stop by and have a quick meal or go on a coffee date. One of the servers was a bit rude to one of the older customers who didn't understand her smoothie options and they did mess up my fiancee's order the first time. Overall however it was a very good experience. I recommend this place.

Amazing food, delicious flavour, all healthy! The service and staff are great and it’s my favourite choice downtown for a quick healthy bite.

A vegan/gluten free cafe with healthy food options. The menu items are varied and served with presentation in mind. Service is fast and prices are agreeable. Seating is available but will be competitive during the lunch rush.

My son was at your restaurant yesterday.

The young disabled boy who got trapped in your UN-accessible washroom. He was yelling for help while you all ignored him. For 15 minutes. There was no way you wouldn't have heard him.

Your staff is disgusting and inhumane. When he finally worked his way out with his wheelchair and asked why they didnt help they ignored him once again.

I will make sure every organization we are affiliated with knows how your restaurant treats people with a disability.

Never had a bad meal. Excellent waffles. Great rice bowls. Healthy meals. Don't be in a hurry because they make everything with love so that takes time.

My friend found this place cause shes a vegetarian and Im not, but I love different variety of food. This place is pretty cool place to sit and people watch. You walk in and you see a menu, then you goto the counter to order, and they give you a number and bring you your food. Simple

Service was excellent and staff was very friendly and made good recommendations. I had the first canadian place. Once the bowl came, I thought it was small but it was really filling at the end. The ingredients was really fresh like the Kale inside, and had a very refreshing taste every bit I took. What stood out also was the sweet potato within the salad and finished off with that pink dried radish on top.

I wouldn't mind going back to try their other top sellers. I can see why its a unique and busy place. Yumm Yumm
