I have been a long time customer. I had followed from his previous business and location. Today I was literally told he no longer values my business and my loyalty. I took him a rather simple shoe repair job that he has done for me multiple times over the years. A similar repair little less than a year ago was actually more involved than what I had for him today, he charged me $15. Today he asked me for more than THREE TIMES that last repair. $50. I refuse to pay for a repair that's more expensive than the shoe is now worth. I left and took my repair elsewhere, Cobbler I had never been to. Workmanship was excellent, only charged $5 and work was done on the spot. Careful folks, dont let blind loyalty lead you astray. Fair price for quality workmanship is still out there. Don't let KW Shoe Repair rip you off and over charge you!

Four season Blundstones resoled, replacement sole heel shows big significant wear after 4-6 wks walking dog and errands.i am editing my previous review as KW offered to look at my boot heels and see if there was a solution. We had a good conversation and a solution was suggested and decided on.

To say that my Redwing Moc Toes are as good as new now doesn’t do justice to the obvious care that was taken to make a perfect repair! I’ve left my Redwing Beckmans for the same treatment! Unreservedly recommended.

He helped me attach Vibram soles that came with my brand new Guidi 788z boots. It was beautifully done, exactly how I wanted it. I study fashion so I was picky among who I chose to do this for me as many cobblers failed to align the vibram properly to the sole or finish it correctly by leaving a raw edge, but he completed mine exactly how I wanted it. It looks like they came out of the factory like this. He was more expensive than some other cobblers, but I did my research and it paid off. I don’t mind paying more if the job done right, and he did that. Definitely worth the price. Truly gifted at his craft, and is local to my neighbourhood. I will be coming back again!

I have a new Chanel belt that needed precise alterations with attention to detail to be shortened. I tried several other alteration companies near and some didn't want to touch it or I felt they couldn't. However KW Shoe Repair didn't hesitate to take it on, in fact he was very confident and unfazed by the job. I knew I had the right person. Professional, had it complete in 2 days and when I arrived for pick up I was completely blown away by his craftsmanship, the Chanel belt repair looked exactly the same but the alterations were completed PERFECTLY. WOW. Speechless! Not just shoe repair! He is very professional, timely and trustworthy.

I would highly recommend that people DO NOT go to this guy for footwear repairs. He will try to manipulate you into having services done for your shoes that are not only far too expensive for what your shoe costs, he will charge way more than what the repairs and labour cost. I took my boots in to have their rubber soles re-glued and without my consent or any warning, he ripped the sole almost completely off, put them on the last, and stitched a few stitches just to explain what method of repair he was trying to sell me on. Flat out highway robbery. I recommend taking your footwear to the shoe doctor in fairview mall. He’s very generous and transparent with all the services he offers for you.

Brought my wedding heels and a pair of old boots for different services. They were both ready in just one hour! Super quick but amazing attention to details. My boots looked pretty rough when I dropped them off, and they looked brand new when I got them back. Highly recommend! Also very funny and great customer service.

The repair just made the bag works again. But for a decent bag, it's hard to say the repairing it's satisfactory, I expected much better than this.

My 1985 LV Danube bag was broken right where the strap meets the bag. Both sides were restored, and reinforced, and I was assured they'll never break again. Now this bag is my daily carry again. Thanks so much!

I too had my motorcycle boots resoled, the soles that came on the boots were very slippery not a good combination on a motorcycle!
After showing me my sole options for the boots, I chose a nice sole with soft compound.

Was given a date to pick up the boots and true to his word they were ready. I must say as tradesman my self I was extremely impressed by the quality of work. In this day an age its hard to find a rare person that takes pride in there craft as shown here! The end product speaks for itself.

Went to get my camera bag repaired. He did it with it the same day and very reasonable price. Will go back for any zippers, bags, or shoes I need repairing or altering

We were thrilled with the work. We took my husbands leather apron (tool belt) to be repaired. It was his late fathers apron that he has been using since his passing, the belt buckle has thinned out over the last 20 years and was falling apart. We were thrilled with the repair job and the care he gave to the this sentimental piece. We are beyond grateful. We also got a new sole on a pair of Birkenstock’s.

I recently had a 3/4" tear in a leather jacket repaired, a pair of cowboy boots re-heeled and revitalized, a leather belt repaired, and a sole protector put on a new pair of cowboy boots. All these jobs were done quickly and the results are outstanding. The Saphir leather care products are fantastic and cleaned up a 3rd pair of 20 yr old cowboy boots beautifully! My Birkenstocks were worn completely through soles and cork. Got them repaired in a reasonable time frame and a reasonable price. Highly recommend this business to anyone needing repair.

My blundstones had a 2 inch hole that needed fixing after wearing them daily for 2 years. The repair is great, he also steam cleaned them and brought them back to a fresh new look without affecting the overall distressed look of the boot (they’re the rustic brown boot). I haven’t had to repair shoes before so can’t speak to value but quality is great! Will definitely be back if I need future shoe repairs.

I brought a pair of Blundstone boots that I use for work to KW Shoe Repair. They were a tad beat up, with various cracks, and the leather on one was worn completely through from kneeling on a cement floor. They were fixed in 3 days (over the holiday period) and they look brand new. I'm almost afraid to wear the. Back to work! Excellent job, finished well ahead of schedule and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
