Sitting in examroom waiting for doctor for an hour after waiting almost 2hrs in waiting room just to take out stitches, bad place very slow doctors seem nice though.

People are rating low about the wait times but it’s not the doctors or nurses fault. They are understaffed. They need more docs but so does all of Ontario. I’m thankful for Dr. Charkow today who took a look at my son and knew immediately what meds he needed. He may be fast in the room with you but he knows his stuff, is friendly and experienced, and he’s also trying to serve everyone. Go to any walk in and you’ll be waiting! Because of that I’d rather base my review on the level of care I received. While it may have been fast paced I still received the care we needed

Faster than most clinics because they don't listen to patients been chasing a doctors not for 2 weeks asked them to send the info to my Dr when the accident happened and nothing. Would have gotten a batter rating if I didn't have to wait with a bunch of sick people for a Dr's note that was supposed to be sent in the first olace and I even called in to have it sent and nothing happened.

Very bad experience. If I could give zero stars I would.l waited 3 and half hours and didn't even see a doctor. Very bad service. You will pick a number to join a line and later they will be skipping you for their friends people they know to go in first shame

Recently, the waiting hours is getting very long. I saw these things many times although there were not much patients.
I think they need supervision to make sure the staffs are using the time appropriately.

I had been here twice and had such a terrible experience. Doctors here are always in hurry and never bother to diagnose the issue. They just give you pain killers for everything. Never recommend this place unless you wanna waste your time. Also, This place should never be called as emergency clinic.

I went two times to KW Victoria Urgent Clinic. I had a good experience in both times. In the second time my son, that is a toddler, was seeing by Doctor Ern (sorry, I forgot his name). The doctor was kind and very patient with my son.

This clinic is extremely unprofessional and the receptionist is very rude. We had to wait several hours before actually getting with a doctor and they also put people that came AFTER us before us and put our file all the way at the back. When we asked how long it’ll take to see a doctor, they kept giving sassy replies and showed rude behaviour. The service here is poor and not worth coming to it, there are many better ones in the area.

Showed up 2 hours before closing (showed up at 3pm they close at 5) said they were closed, called them, the lady said "oh they had a long week" well thats nice so what im supposed to go wait at the hospital for 6 hours because you people couldn't stick out another hour or two? Absolute disgrace to our Healthcare and tax dollars, glad to see you guys get to choose whenever you wanna close especially when you are so essential, enjoy your early day you lazy waste of tax money.

This is the most unprofessional place to go for urgent care. I been here since 12 afternoon and people names being calling after me.as soon Mines was called I was in the room waiting over 2 hours.this place and staff is so unprofessional

Took my son in yesterday and saw Dr. Huy The Nguyen, and immediately felt belittled. The doctor was very dismissive and barely looked at my son's mouth I had brought him in for concerns around thrush, course sounding voice and him refusing to nurse for days.
An elder Dr followed in behind him, and he told that Dr it didn't look like thrush, lightly scraped my sons tongue said it comes off and essentially went to leave the room. I then asked about my son's voice and his refusal to nurse causing my already low supply to tank completely. He arrogantly asked if I had a recording of it and dismissed it completely saying to take him to emergency if I have a concern because I wasn't reporting any other symptoms.and again tried leaving the room. I asked once again then why is my son's mouth white, obviously sore, voice horse and won't nurse and he literally said to take him to my Dr and call a lactation consultant sighting this is a clinic as if my concerns had no place there. I asked for a prescription for domperidone to temperaily improve my supply to try and save our nursing journey and he said I didn't need a prescription and could just get it from the pharmacy. I knew this wasn't the case and said I would need a script for it and he declined stating I could just get it and he left. I felt so dismissed and angry.

I went to pharmacy attached to the clinic and sure enough I needed a prescription. Called the clinic as they had closed reception (at 1: 30!). The triage nurse was pleasant and contacted the Dr letting me back in. He came with the script a few minutes later again stating that I didn't need a prescription to obtain this medication. I had had enough at this point and just said well talk to the pharmacist then because she said I did. Of course pharmacy was now closed and I had to go elsewhere with my young babe. Who left without treatment and is worse this morning with white patches inside his cheeks and lips now as well as his tongue. Off to a clinic with a Dr who actually cares about patients hopefully.

Don't think I'll bother returning here again

Update: took little man to Onyx, momma was right he has thrush and it's affecting his throat also: (meds for 2 weeks!

We were called back to a small confined sitting area, where someone was coughing like crazy, and about to be tested for TB. My wife had incredible nausea from her pregnancy and we decided to stand outside of this area instead. They ordered us into the confined sitting area because of 'privacy'. We refused and left because of the risk. Makes me wonder where our tax money is going.

Very unsatisfactory service. Went in with chest pains and was put at the bottom of the waiting pile. Absolutely no urgency or patient care.

The wait time here is awful. The receptionist was rude. Unlimited waiting and they keep saying nothing can be do about it. Makes you feel like you are forgotten.

Absolutely horrible! Wasn’t many people and the wait was over three hours to see a doctor. Two on them were just at the desk chatting and scrolling on their phones. The hospital would have been faster and had nicer doctors

First time I went in april was fast and staff were kind. Went again today and had probably the best walk in doctor I’ve ever had, very kind and quick

Called today to inquiry about diagnostic results. The person I spoke to was terribly rude and condescending when I asked more questions. I was asking if they could transfer the results to my family doctor and was told flat out they don’t do that. Then when I asked how will my Doctor get the information she said.well THEY would have to request it.
I provided her feedback about her tone and her response was. ‘ oh yeah? I’m actually in a good mood today’
She refused to provide me with her name or provide me with a supervisor’s information or transfer me to someone else. Wow! Won’t be going back there unless it’s to ensure this chick has something written in her file. Which I will for sure escalate.

I’ve been here for 4 hours to wait for a simple throat swab to determine if I have strep. Seriously how long does it take to be seen by a dr in this place. This is the worse clinic ever. I’m never coming here again

It is a great walk in clinic but they are so slow and take in patients that come in after you which I find is unfair, I waiting two hours I’m the waiting room. Got there at 10am and wasn’t called back to be seen until 12pm which once you get into the room there is another waiting period for the doctor.

Horrible! Took my son there with a very high fever and they made us wait for 4 hours…. Still did not see a doctor, when I asked what the hold up was my son is very sick. The extremely rude doctor told me to wait my turn. I told him my son I burning up and is very sick…Again he told me to go in the room and wait. Meanwhile people who had shown up after my son and I were already seen by the doctor and had left.
Not to mention the place is really dirty and gross

The number tokens at the clinic is quite redundant. The position in line is dependent on a triage process that happens after registration. In this triage process, a person plays 'god' as he/she will decide your wait times. The file positions are moved around dependent on criteria such as repeat patients, nurse visits and so on. This process truly don't add much value rather increases the wait time by hours.
While I understand that urgent health care needs should take precedence but the day I visited, there were no such visible cases but my position in line was moved from 17 to 30.
The clinic might rationalize by saying that there is only one doctor, while that definitely effects wait time but not to such crazy extent. Honestly if they maintained my original position in line, I would have seen the doctor in 30 mins (the wait time was mentioned by the receptionist before the triage process) instead of 2: 30 hours.
My advise, if you can while you are getting registered, ensure that the 'gods' have added your name in the correct order to their list before getting off the seat.

2 years ago I was there 3 times in 1.5month to figure out why I had a rash everywhere.without touching or examining me I was told by 3 doctors that its winter (. It was March and april) and I have a dry skin. Of course the rash was everywhere and itch was excruciating told me to get a oatmeal bath and one gave me 3 pills. Ended up in the hospital eventually after the doc put me in isolated room and stood 5 feet away from me gave me diagnosis and cream that was wrong. So internet here we go.turns out it was a allergic reaction to bites which I figured out myself.and got proper medication
Took 3 months and a lot of pain and sleepless nights.so this walk in clinic and hospital was not helpful.

Extremely unprofessional front staff. Nurses and Dr. 's are amazing but each visit/phone interaction I am shocked with the ignorance and rudeness of those who check in patients or answer the phones.

Go early, of course you'll wait 3 hours at 1 pm. Tuesday is busier than Monday, and go at 8 am. I have had the best experience there. Fairway is terrible compared to here.

The healthcare system in Canada is totally horrible. When you call 911, they arrive within 3 minutes or ASAP but the hospitals and clinics take forever to see the patients. So what is the point? Patient is dying in the waiting and they don’t care. All the urgent care clinics especially this one on Victoria location has horrible waiting time. You have to wait for 2-3 hours for registration and then 2-3 hours more so that they can take patients into the rooms and then in the room you wait for another 1 hour to talk to the doctor about your medical problems. The doctors never have time. For a 5 minutes conversation you wait the whole day. After that they will call you to discuss the test results after a month. Meantime the patient can die as well. Nobody knows. Well, luckily, if you are alive then it is the same waiting procedure to discuss with the doctor about the medications. I hope they will think about it because I am dying with a severe pain and nobody cares. The staff is also very rude. If you ask them how long it is going to take to see a doctor, their reply is “can’t you see there are only two doctors today. ” How come I get to know if their are two doctors or more. I just asked for the waiting time and the response was this. Wow. I hope everyone is healthy so that they do not have to waste their time in these clinics.
