They definitely have reasonable price. However, I brought my cats there 3 times. First time both were cut great. For the second time, they said one of my cat was aggressive, which is true. But I have realized that they have hurt my cat because his tummy was cut. I was upset but I thought they didn’t do it intentionally (still thinking that). However, I believe they do not pay attention and careless while grooming. Because third time, one of my cat had lion cat and they have left bunch of hair on my cat’s back. Also, they have charged me almost for two cats even though one of them did not get full cut since he didn’t allow them.

In a nutshell, they might do a good job for dogs but not cats for sure. I definitely won’t bring my cats there.

I've been bringing my dog Milo here for grooming for several years now and have always been impressed with their service. Milo is not a fan of getting groomed but all the workers have always been so patient and gentle with him. The service and staff are AMAZING -they clearly have a passion for the work that they do! Would definitely recommend as it has always been a positive experience for Milo and myself!

Very accommodating and considerate staff. My Shipoo looked like a new pup and seemed happy and content! Heading here for all our future pet grooming sessions!

I have taken my Maltipoo here twice now and I could not be more happy. Both times she’s looked amazing after her cut! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This groomer came highly recommended to me, and I see why!

I just want to share with everyone my first visit at LA grooming. It was a great experience. She looks amazing. The best haircut she has ever had. Already booked my next pre Christmas appointment. Won’t go anywhere else from now on.

I called to make complaint about open wounds on my dogs skin after he was groomed at LA Pet. The staff, and receptionist there were unsympathetic, and told me to "go back to the place I normally groom him". I most definitely will not return! What a terrible experience as a new customer, and for my older dog!

First time grooming for a new pup and she looked wonderful. Definitely will be coming back here on a regular basis.

Wow. The staff are excellent. The owner is caring, lovely, and compassionate towards your fur babies. Her fees are fair. My furbaby looked terrific. Not a single cut on her. My furbaby also made some new friends.

This place has been the best I have found for my fur babies hands down! It may not have a posh decor but what it does have is care and quality of service. My pups are always happy and looking great when they leave. You can truly tell the staff really love what they do

Excellent staff and service. Did a great lion cut for my Persian cat Lincoln, which saved me from cutting mats out of his hair. Lincoln was embarrassed, but definitely a confidence booster for him with the handkerchief they gave him.

I just want to give a shout out to Linzi who groomed our little man Timbit today, she did a fantastic job even with a mowhawk and he looks like a Rickstar! Timbit was one of the first Clients here when they opened. Keep up the great work!

First time coming here. Did not know how my dogs would react to a new environment. These ladies are nothing short of amazing. My dogs came out looking extremely taken care of and happy. Would instantly recommend them to anyone for their pet needs!

Our dogs have been coming here for a dew years.we've got just one left now - he's a sweet old boy of 16.they are so gentle and loving with him.it's wonderful to know that our babies - even when they're elderly ones - are well treated when we leave them in la grooming's trusted hands

Dont go to this place at all. They donot follow instructions. My maltipoo was shaved all over. She looks sick. They dont care and also not professional. She has cuts on two places around her eyes which has turned in a lump. They didnt cut her nails. Place is dirty with all sizes of dogs walking around. Its a traumatic experience for pets. I have to take her to emergency now.

We had 2 of our fur babies get a Lion shave and we are very happy with the way the shaves turned out, our fur babies look amazing. The owner and staff were very professional highly recommend this groomer.

My husband brought our little guy in to get groomed, and they were AMAZING!
They took my little scruff ball and transformed into a handsome little man, will definitely be returning, again and again!

Amazing people, recently rescued a 1.5 yr old Pomeranian with high anxiety and separation issues. They were patient, professional, kind, and caring about the whole situation. I used to get my dog Charlie cut there before he passed and they always did an amazing job. My go to place in Durham!

I go here every time to get my dog's nails done. My dog was difficult with nail trims but they've always been fantastic with him to the point he barely fusses.

If I can give this place negative stars i would. You expect to trust that your dog is in the best hands when they go to the groomers and to be handled with care. My dog then came home after a visit here for a bath and tidy and she couldnt keep her eyes open, was super lethargic and her eyes were glossed over and had lots of discharge and were clearly sore. She wouldnt eat or drink. Called and left a voicemail when we noticed that evening after her groom and they never got back to us. Called back the next day and spoke to someone who recommended we watch for 24 hours then go to the vet, which by that time it had already been 24 hours. No compensation for a vet visit was offered or compensation for the grooming. She offered for us to come back to get her eyes cleaned but truthfully dont trust this place and dont recommend.

My golden doodle was groomed today. He has razor burns all over his body from cutting his hair too aggressively. There are also parts that were cut too short and has almost no hair left. For the price we paid I was very unimpressed. I liked the work last time we went but this was not a good experience.

The staff at this place were beyond rude, customer service was terrible the people that work here are rude. They also shaved my dog, I have an aussie with double coats WHY WOULD YOU SHAVE HIM? Thanks to them my poor dog needs to be careful with the heat. They said I wanted this cut who would want their aussie shaved? This place is awful save your money and your dogs beautiful coat and stay far clear of this place.

They were amazing. My dog got a perfect grooming and got to play with friends. I will be going there from now on. Very friendly staff.

I called on Saturday and spoke to a staff member about trimming my cat's nails and de-shedding as well, and she was very lovely and helpful. I was told that it was $10 for nail trim and $5 for 15 minutes of deshedding. In total, I was told that the services I wished for would come up to approximately $20. Based on that, I was expecting for my cat to be in the salon for at least 20-30 minutes (I'm assuming 15-30 minutes of deshedding and few minutes for nail trimming). So all is well, come Monday and I drove a long way from Scarborough to Pickering because of the amazing reviews and the lovely staff member that I spoke to on the phone, but I was a little bit underwhelmed when I did get there. The staff member who greeted us was kind but she seemed to be in a rush, so I wasn't even able to get her name. She did not ask for my name, my partner's name or my cat's name, and simply told us to wait outside. Shouldn't names and/or phone numbers be exchanged in case something happened? Anyways we complied and waited happily, but we were a bit confused when we saw the staff member bring our cat back out within 7 minutes. We were expecting the time would be at least 15 minutes long but it wasn't, and we just assumed that the staff member must have something going on and that was why she was rushing. This was my first time bringing my cat to a pet salon and I've never dealt with deshedding before either, so I don't really know how this is all supposed to work. But my cat is still shedding and it's Wednesday. His fur is everywhere and a lot of hair falls off whenever I comb my fingers through his fur. I thought he wasn't supposed to anymore after the service? Like I said, I personally have no prior experience with deshedding and when I spoke to some cat-owner friends, they said that their cats doesn't shed after coming back from their salons. Anyhow, I still brushed my cat on Monday after the service and now as well, and I still end up with balls of hair. I don't know if there was a misunderstanding with the staff members or it was on my part alone, but I took away 2 stars in this review because my cat is still shedding a lot. I'm sure there must have been something amiss in between our communication and maybe my knowledge on cat grooming, but I would love to come back and give this place another try.

LA Pet Grooming turned my Chloe into a brand new dog! To be honest, she was a shaggy mess when she walked through your doors! I was completely shocked to see her strut out looking like she could grace the cover of Vouge magazine! The little pink bow that was added to her ponytail was the icing on the cake! She looked and smelled amazing! Thank you so much for all the hard work it must have taken to transform my pup! We love you guys!

Been bringing my dog and my 2 cats to these girls for over 10 years, best place ever. They really put their heart and soul into their work and I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. They have also baby sat my dog while I was away and he came home happy as Larry.
These girls have rescued numerous dogs and horses over the years and have so much love for the animals.

For 2nd time on the role, after the grooming my dog got Allergy and I had to send him to the vet. And it coast me around 500$.
The service is excellent but the material was used may be was cheap.

I love this place! They made my dog Mathew look so cute! A lot of groomers mess up his tail, but they made him look perfect.

I have started using LA pet grooming about 5 months ago. I use there grooming services, doggy daycare and training by Linzi. All 3 services provided have been beyond my expectations and life changing! The girls are wonderful there and very accommodating. Best of all treat my 3 fur babies with love and I would trust no one else with them. Also to mention affordable. True animal lovers which is #1 in my books thanks ladies for treating my babies like your babies #woof#woof

I take my two large breed boys to LA Pet and love the job they do. They were especially helpful with my big guy during a recent allergy situation where frequent medicated baths were required. I also bring foster pups in, everyone is so sweet and caring with them. Highly recommend!

Worst groomers ever! We took our cat there today.after about an hr the owner called us screaming over the phone to come get our cat because he wouldn't sit still. She also said she's FIRING US AS CUSTOMERS! She completely messed up my cats hair.a complete botch job. Didn't even finish the haircut! When we arrived to pick up our cat.the owner would not come out to speak to a us.she yelled from another room telling us "to take our cat and leave". HORRIBLE!

Horrible.look what they did to my cat! Then had the nerve to say they're firing me as a customer!

Tried with other local pet grooming shop, not happy with the result. So I decided to give LA pet grooming a try. I have to say I couldn't be more happier, when we went to pick up our dog. They did such fantastic job, just exactly like how I want it. It was fast and efficient, for sure will.go back again soon.

Took my dog today for the first time. The staff were super helpful and my answered all my questions. The grooming details were exactly as requested. The grooming prices are fairly reasonable compared to others. I paid a bit extra for express grooming and my dog was in and out within 1.5 hrs.

I will definitely be taking my dog here again.

We love this place! T The girls at La pets are amazing they treat our Fred lime limir own pet! There is no other place we will take our dog for grooming and daycare they're the absolute best at what they do.

My puppy paw was bleeding he looked really upset soon has we came home he was a playful puppy but now he looks sad

They nipped my pups paw with their clippers and when I complained in person they said that they won’t give a refund or help with the vet bill either and it was my fault because I didn’t inform them he was sensitive to clippers, first off I’ve never had this issue with him and second off I dropped him off at 12: 30 and didn’t get a call to pick him up until after 3: 45, which is absolutely ridiculous! I was worried because it was his first time there, I even went back to check on him and they told me he wasn’t ready yet and to come back in another hour. Horrible place and also the place smelt really bad of cat pee. Don’t recommend them nor will ever go to them again.
