Amazing! What a fantastic experience we had here. The atmosphere is warm, the service was outstanding and the food … fantastic! We were looking for a place that served fresh pasta. This place delivered! We felt the prices matched the quality of the food. Only suggestion would be the scallop appetizer (although delicious) either lower the price or add more scallops! We will definitely be returning.

A wonderful restaurant with a great ambience. The staff knows how to take care of you and the price is low in my opinion, considering the quality. A great place to stop before a show or just to have a nice meal. Highly recommended

Generally good Italian food! Convenient location and good service. The fresh pasta was good. The staff were quite accommodating about allergies and sensitivities too. We had an Italian friend as part of the group who thought it was good Italian food, but not the best in Toronto. A really solid spot. Not a ton of vegetarian options, but still a few.

As some other reviews I can confirm that the pasta were undercook (way before al dente), this was disappointing as I invited my girlfriend for her birthday. Not worth the price.

Hats off. The Chianti was fantastic, as was the Arancini. I would definitely go back if I was in Toronto

The pasta dish was by far the worst carbonara I’ve had the misfortune of ordering. The pasta was undercooked (not al dente but crunchy) and cold. What should have been a creamy and silky sauce was watery and flavourless. I did inform the waiter who took the dish away only to replace it with another that was warmer but equally tasteless and still undercooked. The waitstaff was painfully slow and inattentive. As someone that has spent time in Italy and grew up on Italian cuisine, I can assure you there are much better Italian restaurants at this price point in the city. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere if you want to enjoy your meal and not waste your money.

Gluten free pasta is amazing! I got the Cacio E Pepe and I loved it! The drinks from here are good too. The vibe is amazing and the price for the food is good as well. Would highly suggest trying this place for a night out or even lunch.

The pasta was fantastic. Carbonara, yum! The fried arancini is not good. No anchovy flavour at all. Over fried. Asked for balasmic vinegar for the bread and the waitress would not accommodate. Nice atmosphere.

Great food. Modest portions. Great service. Attractive bar and resturant. One point off because chef will not allow changing the type of pasta served with a dish because he has pastas and toppings calculated precisely. Yeah, right.

Great food, uncomfortable experience. Ordered the burrata for an appetizer and duck pappardelle a ragu for a main. We got seated at a really low, rikkity table so they sat us at the bar. The bartender was coughing up a storm. He should’ve stayed home.

Giuseppe and the service staff were amazing. The food was phenomenal. I will definitely return. Grazie!

My wife and I had dinner here after watching the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child show at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.

The location is well designed and it is very warm and cozy. There is a classic family style dinner table for larger parties.

The service was superb and attentive right from the get go. 5 Stars to the service staff all day long.

The food was outstanding really. I was impressed. I ordered:
1) Funghi Assoluti
2) Polpo Alla Griglia
3) Pappardelle Rage d' Anatra
4) 14 oz Bistecca

Every dish was top shelf. The grilled octopus was tender and packed with flavour. The Oyster mushrooms was a perfect complement to the arugula in a well executed dish. Then the amazing Pappardelle was cooked to al dente perfection with the fabulous and savoury backdrop of the duck ragu. I could have eaten that every day of the week and twice on Sundays. My steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned well. There is nothing worse than a good steak that is under seasoned and it will require you to hit it with some salt. The steak was so tender and velvety that it basically melts in your mouth. The accompanying mushrooms were a tad too heavy on the salt however. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my steak.

I will be back to check on the consistency on my next go around.

Had high expectations from this place but what a disappointment. Started with the bread - seemed almost stale and the olive oil had a weird flavor. Maybe I am not fancy enough to have tried such an olive oil but if something doesn’t taste right / going bad it doesn’t taste right. Pizzas were average at best.

Waiter was outright rude - unsolicited sarcasm. However, the host was pleasant.

This experience was so bad I had to write this review while sitting at the table. We were in a rush and looked up this exact locations menu online so we would be ready to order and we were. Upon arriving at this restaurant there were the variety of noodles they have on display (remember this for later). We sit down and look at the menu, nothing we wanted from the online menu was there. We asked our server who was a little short with responses in general, who said the marketing team did not update the online menu. Fine no problem we can order something else, we did ask of we could change the spaghetti to a shorter noodle.remember those noodles hanging at the entrance? Well God forbid they could change a pasta dish at a restaurant that specializes in pasta! They don't make any adjustments to their meals, regardless of dietary or allergy reasons. We order our mains, pizza 2 pasta's and a mushroom salad. All the food was pretty good, however when the pizza arrived it was not cut. I say to the food runner who brought it to the table, excuse me but this pizza isn't cut, we are sharing and would love it to be cut. The food runner says no we didn't cut it and went back to the kitchen. I asked the server who said we don't cut pizza here or at any of our locations.what if there were physical disabilities hindering my ability to cut it myself?

To make this log winded story short, the food was good. Service not so much, atmosphere and overall experience terrible I will never return to this or any other location in my lifetime.

We were pretty excited to try out this place. Our server was ok and our orders were taken pretty quickly. However, the staff brought out our appetizers (Insalata di Carote e Barbabietole and Arancine Palermitane) at the same time as our meals. Our server said “I don’t know why they brought it all out at the same time” but did not offer to fix it. We were hungry so we didn’t make a fuss.

My husband’s Pappardelle al Ragu d'Anatra was wonderful, but my Cacio e Pepe was way too hard (more than al dente) and my son’s fettucine bolognese was underwhelming. It was ok but really not worth the price.

If its on the menu you can have it, no substitutions ever, the waiter was like he was doing me a favor by being there

OMG! Words can not describe the amazing plentiful flavors that pass your pallet. Breathtakingly amazing staff. Atmosphere off the hook!

I had mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some dishes were good and some were just “meh. ”
We went for dinner and we shared the burrata which came with peaches, figs, and tomatoes and this dish was amazing. We also got the Insalata Di Carote E Barbabietole salad, which was honestly extremely mediocre. The dressing was very simple, and overall it was maybe worth a few fork bites.
For food we shared the bolognese, which we thought was a similar experience to the salad. We also had the Ravioli Con Ricotta E Spinaci, and this was the star of the night. This dish was very filling with 8-9 raviolis filled with spinach and ricotta. It was very good! Just needed a little ground black pepper.
For desert, we shared the tiramisu (tasted store bought), and the crème brûlée (this was great and enough for 2).
Atmosphere-wise, it is very loud so much so that you almost have to shout or get extremely close to the other person to hear what they’re saying. But this quiets down around 9 pm.
The servers are nice, and they give good recommendations.
I will probably not go again, as there are many better Italian options.

Nous avons mangé les pâtes bolognaise et une pizza. Les pâtes était succulentes. La serveuse a pu nous conseiller un excellent vin. La crème brûlée était parfaite. Le Tiramisu était très bien.

I ordered the seafood plate it was very fishy no lemon I asked for Parmesan cheese they said they don’t put cheese on it, it’s the worst I have ever tasted

An hour after we sat, I was still waiting for food. Ended up taking my meal to go. It was 'ordinary' and expensive.

We waited for 30 minutes despite the fact that we had a reservation. People who came after us miraculously got seated before us. Once the tables finally cleared up, we were seated at a really long table with a bunch of others, I would not recommend sitting here if you needed some privacy.

The food however was splendid and our waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was kind enough to waive the cost of our appetizers given that we had waited for so long.

The overall restaurant experience could have been much better if we didn't have to wait that long and got better seats.

Unreal.rude place, don't ask to change anything on the menu they make the food their way only, they don't care how you want it or how you eat it.avoid avoid avoid
