La Bruschetta

A really wonderful time at La Bruschetta. This really is the definition of a family restaurant. If you're tired of the corporate vibe and standard menu in a lot of Toronto italian restaurants - this is the one for you. Great variety of regional dishes, prepared with a lot of care - flavour was great. The family that runs it takes a lot of joy in what they do too.

We got two bottles of wine and the prix fix for winterlicious - came to just a little over $100 per person. SUPER reasonable for how great it all was.

First of all I would like to say that if you are looking to truly enjoy an Italian meal, this is the place! Bruschetta is the best Italian restaurant in the city!
My husband and I have been going to eat at la Bruschetta and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and the service is the best! It truly feels like you are dining in Italy! My husband and I had our daughters baptism dinner at La Bruschetta and it was amazing! I have no words to describe how delicious the food was. Sam was amazing he made us all feel special, his knowledge, patience and service was fantastic, you can see he loves what he does! All of our guests were so happy with the food and the ambiance. We would like to thank Silvia for having an amazing restaurant and for the amazing experience! As always the food was delicious it never fails to amaze us! Please do not hesitate to visit la Bruschetta you will experience the best food and service! We can’t wait to go back! Thanks to Silvia and the team for hosting our event, it was truly amazing.

My favorite restaurant in Toronto. I come here every chance I get. Fabulous service; an atmosphere of understated luxury - and the food is to die for.

Our friends recommended La Bruschetta to us last year and we go back every time our parents are town. The family run business is top shelf for service, food and wine! They have seen everything over 44 years of business and maintained a high level of service and premium ingredients for all home made dishes. We cannot recommended highly enough!

We had a wonderful meal at La Bruschetta on Friday night. The food was amazing especially the seafood soup. The team in this establishment is wonderful. I highly recommend La Bruschetta if you are looking for a fabulous Italian dinner.

Really fun experience. Last minute decision to try this place around 7pm.

Chicken Alfredo linguine was freshing - it wasn't too salty or overpoweringly creamy and strong. The light taste was freshing and sat well in my stomach. Like, I didn't get that heavy-pasta-food feeling.

Penne tomato with pancetta (don't remember full name) had really good sauce and the veggies were well incorporated. Boyfriend didn't like the crispy pancetta/meat as much but I did so depends on taste.

All in all, will try this place again as everything on the menu sounded great!

My friend and I visit La Bruschetta whenever we feel like great Italian food in Toronto. We never feel like we are at a restaurant because owner Silvia and her sister Brenda create an environment that feels like home. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and there are always repeat patrons dining on any given night. There are so many tasty options to enjoy - some of my favourites include the home made gnocchi, the jumbo shrimp, and the insalata noce. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Thank you for another great dinner and memorable evening.

A disaster from start to finish. No drink orders taken for the first 20 minutes, very rude reaction to the fact that we booked through open table, we waited 35 minutes for our bill and the dinner was extremely disappointing. The bread basket had old food caked into the material and the bread itself was just a large bun sliced into four huge pieces and wasn't even warmed up. As you can see in the picture they gave packets of butter which really doesn't match the whole restaurant experience. The food was okay but the parmesan on the table was the dry kind. Not even close to an authentic Italian meal.

I had very high hopes for this restaurant; it was my Aunt's 86th birthday and she doesn't get out much. We wanted to really treat her to something special. There were only 2 other tables of patrons when our party of 4 arrived. Once we had been seated it took about 1/2 hour for the next interaction (drink orders). The woman who took our initial order just seemed annoyed by us from the get-go. We were told brusquely that the Winterlicious menu we had reserved through Open Table, had nothing to do with them, and was over. This was the start of a very poor customer service experience for us. To be clear, we are not high-maintenance people, but when we left (after waiting for our bill for 30-40 minutes without any interaction), I actually felt like we had been unwelcome, and treated differently (not in a good way) than the other patrons in the restaurant that evening. It was not only disappointing, it was sad. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, I regret to say.

Came last week with my girlfriend, had a pretty great time. Her parents used to come here on dates when they were first together, isnt that crazy? I thought so, we told the waitress all about it, she was nice and told us her parents owned the place back then. Life is a strange thing. I had the lobster ravioli.
