Close to all the PEC wineries, and worth the stop.
The mezcalita sour (agave balances out all the wine *wink*) is to die for and great way to start your Mexican experience.
The braised beef tacos were the highlight, well seasoned and exploding with flavour. And I’m usually not a taco fan. These are worth it, along with the others.
To top it off, the Tres Leches found its way into my heart, and mouth. Just a lovely way to top off our day in this top notch Mexican themed cozy spot.
Just go!

Service and atmosphere are incredible, but the food is some of the most mediocre Mexican food I've had in Ontario. Churros were terrible and we didn't even finish them.

Went in for lunch today, friendly staff met and seated us immediately. We had fish, beef and pork tacos.all delicious. No problem with special requests and server even brought spicy/hot habenero oil to add to the flavor experience. A funky decor, clean and bright. Will definitely go back

What a great little spot in this quaint beach town. Food was excellent and the staff was super. Great place to bring the whole family for a night out.

Great food! Loved the tuna tostada and the tres leches dessert especially. The online waitlist was really easy to use and we didn't have to wait at all. Would definitely come back.

What a great "find" in such a great place. Food is so delicious. The corn tacos are so corny.really delicious. All the fillings are tasty and filling. Wonderful atmosphere. A good restaurant to go for a slow relaxed evening of good food, friendly service and a great atmosphere.

The food, service & cocktails were fabulous! Definitely try a margarita if you like tequila, especially the grilled pineapple jalapeno one! The fish taco was mine and my husband's absolute favourite but all of the food we tried was incredible. Service was super quick and everything was very fresh! We will definitely be back!

I would have to say this is the best place I’ve ever ate at. I couldn’t even wait to get home to write this review because I’m So shocked. The fried quesadilla changed my taste buds forever. The tacos are amazing. The service is out of this world and the staff is trained properly. I will be coming back

What a surprise.we're so jaded by fake tasting mex restos but so glad we wandered into La Condesa. After eating and drinking halfway through the menu, it's all awesome tasty:) so far the Mule's our fave drink:)

BEST TACOS! This place offers the most amazing tacos - it was so delicious and left you so entranced that I forgot to take pictures of the food! Every taco is made fresh to order (the shell included). It was like biting into a dream. Every bite was jam packed with so much flavour! From small plates to tacos, you can’t go wrong on any of the food options. The cocktails too were tastefully crafted! We will never forget this experience!

Drove 200 km just to eat Mexican in this restaurant.completely worth every penny. Excellent tacos, tres Leches and whiskey sour. Our server and bar tender were awesome too. Great place for a date or dine with friends.

Service was amazing. Staff were super friendly. Lots of indoor seating (though a teensy bit on the loud side). Food was very fresh and so delicious. Portions were deceivingly small but was actually just the right amount and satisfied perfectly.

Absolute musts: shrimp tacos, fish tacos, watermelon sangria. The house made habenaro chilli oil is sooo good, but only if you can handle spicy! Worth an overnight in town even more than the wine tours!

Flavours were good but not amazing. And the portions were incredibly disappointing. Tacos are $7 each and other dishes are around $10 and very small portions, like singles for everything. I left feeling only 25% full. Not worth the money in my opinion. Service was friendly though.

This restaurant has a chill vibe, it’s small and has a decent aesthetic.
The service was good enough. As for the food, the falutas and elotes were delicious and full of flavour. We had 2 tacos, the shrimp and jackfruit both were super lack lustre. The shrimp was not very flavourful and the jackfruit was over cooked and a bit too spicy. The margarita is also really sad and very over priced it tasted like a mix not fresh lime and I didn’t detect even a hint of agave. I ordered the veggie tostada and asked for the beans on the side the waiter said “they would do them on or off not on the side” and I didn’t really understand the logic in denying such a simple request. It ended up disappointing in taste anyway.

Great Ambience, great service and fresh food. I would recommend their guac and chips, beer battered fish tacos and shrimp tacos. They were delicious. Their house chips are made fresh and has a really good taste. Had a great time there with my husband! Would definitely go back for amazing tapa style Mexican food.:)

La Condesa scored an A+. We had the octopus tostada which was divine, the street corn, and 3 different tacos. The restaurant only has a few tables (which I like), so be prepared to wait a little longer - but it is 100% worth it. Great service, environment, and food. Go there!

Tried every taco on the menu and they are ALL incredible, the tortillas are so fresh and light. The flautas were a must and the mezcalita sour is a great cocktail to try. Love this place and will be coming back every time I'm in town.

Delish delish delish! Greatest Mexican in Canada! Don’t let the Aussie accent fool you- this place is superb! Worth the wait! Get the fish tacos & pork quesadilla. The guac is simple but so flavourful! Limited menu due to Covid but all their food is amazing. One item per plate. You don’t feel guilty about ordering the whole menu!

Spring 2022 update: some of the classics are no longer in the menu, but all their dishes are superb and delish! Order the flight of tequila- it’ll turn any tequila hater into a lover.
No soup anymore but the corn (elotes) are delish!

Food was delicious. I think I tried each one of their tacos. Great food, and great vibe. Definitely a happening place on the main strip in Wellington!

I'm at La Condesa at least one a week and every experience is fantastic. Their team is so friendly, engaging and does an incredible job of explaining new menu items and cocktails. Their margaritas are phenomenal. I've tried to recreate them at home and it's never as good as theirs! Great ambiance and people, do not miss this spot. Favourite dishes are the tuna tostada and fish taco. The mezcal corpse reviver #2 is also delicious.

Seriously good food. Staff put up with our 1000 questions and were very knowledgeable. Great tequila selections and the margaritas very well constructed.

What a little gem. Been to several taco places in Toronto but this place is by far the best taco I’ve had. Good price, service and drinks - the trifecta.

Come with an empty stomach the entire menu is delicious! I would recommend ordering 1 of each for each person in your group. The tacos could be served in pairs… but for the price they are nice and plump on delicious tortillas.
It would be great to have the option of having coffee with desert. The service was great and even with a mask it was super smiley

My husband and I went to this restaurant yesterday as we are visiting PEC and it’s amazing. I’ve had good Mexican food before but this is one of the best I’ve tasted. We tried a bit of everything and it was all good but my favourite was the corn and fish taco. If your in the area it’s definitely a must

Food was fantastic and tasty. Can't go wrong with battered fish tacos here. Charlie was great to watch mixing drinks at the bar. I had a unique Old Fashioned and it was delicious. Lost 1 star for having 2 empty bottles of Clase Azul tequila on display, but not available to order. Also, half the barstools here are super uncomfortable. Otherwise, great place. Make sure to join the wait list on Yelp to get a table.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
1. Our wait time for a table with 40 minutes which went by super fast.
2. The drinks that my table had were tasty.
3. The food which was order was amazing, but I was way too drunk from day drinking to enjoy it. Our waitress noticed this and brought me a few Tostitos to soak up all the alcohol from the day, which worked like a champ.
For that reason, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We went with some friends for an eat in meal, trying it out for the first time. The food was excellent, service was great, everybody was really pleased overall. I think we, as a group, tried almost everything on the menu tostadas tacos, street corn, margaritas, everything was excellent. We did have a fairly long wait for a table though, even on a Thursday night in October but were able to order some drinks to have while we waited outside.

Great ambience, pur server was amazing. We never been there before and just let her order for us the starters. And we ordered mushroom and cheese taco, spicy shrimp taco. All food was amazing, we had a great time there. Service and environment was impeccable!

Great little place and very nice and knowledgeable staff. Beef enchiladas were great, fish tacos great too, but lamb taco was lacking in flavour. Overall a great place and would recomend as lots of choice.

La Condesa just opened this spring and they have quickly become our new favourite restaurant in the County. We'd give them six stars if we could! Their selections are authentic and varied, the service and staff are very friendly and accommodating even when they are working really hard, and the quality of the food including the presentation is always top notch.

Of particular note are their Lechón y Chicharron Taco (Pork Carnitas) which are simply divine and the Tostada de Atún (Tuna Appetizer) too. Even their drink selections and quality are amazingly balanced, well presented and reasonably priced.

Really enjoyed our experience here. Great drinks, food and service. I had the chicken taco, pappa taco and the crusted avocado. So exceptionally yummy. Can't wait to go back!

Went with a a party of thirteen and was very disappointed. The waitress forgot our appetizer even when we asked three times. We requested a very simple dish for a child and they screwed that up.not worth the drive

Truly authentic Mexican food, and it is delicious. Cocktails are spot on as was the service. Matt and his staff run an awesome establishment!

Had been waiting to visit this restaurant since it opened and it did not disappoint! I brought my partner and he LOVED it.

We started with the ceviche and Queso Fundido with chorizo. The ceviche was so fresh and the queso was soooo cheesy and yummy. After that we tried the Tostado De Atún. The sesame oil really makes it! I had the Barbacoa and the pork taco then my boyfriend had the enchiladas. We shared everything and our favourite was the pork taco! We ended up ordering an extra. You must try! We finished with the Tres Leches cake and it was so dreamy and wonderful.

Definitely stop by here if you want incredible Mexican food in a unique atmosphere with idyllic decor! Loved the artwork on the wall and the bar was super cute.

Fresh and delicious Mexican food like you never had. Prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the dishes. The service and drink were amazing. It's a must go if you are in the area!

Three of us travelled by bicycle around Wellington and then we dropped in for lunch since we heard good things about this place. Very friendly greeting by the staff, nice atmosphere and we all tried each others dishes and we loved the freshness and the taste very much. We will definitely come back.

We tried a few dishes, some to which I can't remember the name of but the Fish taco was to die for.
Staff was also kind and pleasant and very patient.

They have some local beers here too!

I've been to a lot of taco places and this place is the best tasting authentic Mexican tacos I've ever had. If I could rate this place 11 stars out of 10, I would, I guess 5 stars will do,

Delicious Mexican food at an unassuming restaurant in Wellington. Did not expect to be blown away by the food, but the tacos and queso fundido were to die for. Service was nice and friendly, too, and I loved the bright, eclectic interiors of the place. Highly recommend! Don’t miss the lechon tacos and queso fundido.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch together at this adorable restaurant in beautiful Wellington. We had guacamole and chips and two fabulous tacos. Love this restaurant!

After a long day of yard work we were hungry and thirsty for what we’ve been told we’re amazing cocktails and tacos.
Cocktails did not disappoint (although the first round took some time to prepare)
The food was delicious but it all ends there.
The restaurant was pretty packed but the wait for our food was laughably long. 45min for a fish taco & 20min for overpriced gauc long.
The host was very hospitable bbbuutt
The server never bussed our table so empty cocktail glasses stayed on our table for the entirety of our meal, made two mistakes in taking our order, never once apologised (or acknowledged) for the length of time it took for our food to hit the table, also brought us the wrong drink and told us we had an “old menu” (but all the menus were the same).
To make matters worse the table beside us (who arrived well after we we had) got all their food before we finished getting ours! Their Drinks? They came almost immediately. Perks of being a local I guess.

I’d go again to sit at the bar and grab a cocktail and a bite. Hence the two stars.but they need to sort out their chit times and service style before I’d return to dine at a table.

We LOVE La Condesa! It is our favourite restaurant in the County. The food is authentic, creative and excellent. The cocktails are spectacular, and we enjoy the cool vibes. I’d choose this restaurant any day over top Toronto Mexican joints like Grand Electric and La Carnita. We make a point to visit every time we are in town. The manager/bartender, Matt, is particularly cool, and always goes out of his way to make us feel welcome. We can’t wait to go back!

I really loved this place but I had a totally less than stellar experience last week. They were very busy, so I understand to a degree. First, our drink order went to another table and we were forgotten. When we reminded them about it they brought the wrong drink and then another huge wait for the proper drink. This took about 40 minutes to get my cocktail. No sorry, no comp on the bill when it came. The food was delicious as it came out l, however all of the tacos were not actually cooked quite long enough and you couldn’t eat them as a taco, which is disappointing. We ended up using knives and forks and skipping most of the the tortillas as they were too doughy. I will go back and try again, hopefully have a better experience.

Best restaurant in Prince Edward County - we loved the upscale Mexican food and it was a real treat to have mixed drinks from a top Toronto mixologist. Don't miss this. We also went to the Drake Devonshire and this was more rewarding from a flavor perspective.

Honestly, best Mexican I've had in North America. The tacos are beyond perfection and the cocktails are incredible. The team here makes you feel welcome and really wants to see you happy with your experience. This place is the talk of the town and for good reason. Great spot for date nights, friend gatherings and family dinners.
