Myself and my 90 year old mother have been customers here for quite some time.
I recently had highlights from Bruce to even out my salt and pepper hair and have received many compliments.
We have had our hair cut and styled by Carmela and nails done by Yasmin. Besides the great service, they have been so kind and caring towards my mother and am so very grateful for how well they have taken care of her!

We’ve recently been there to get specific hair styles for a wedding reception. It seemed like our requests were simply brushed off and the stylist simply did what he wanted. I specifically asked for curls and the stylist didn’t even have the curtsy to at least brush the hair first. He just started to make “ waves “ rather than curls even after showing a picture and saying this is not what I wanted.
There were few of us and none of us got what we showed and asked for. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Love Bruce! He does amazing job with my hair every single time keeping them not only beautiful but also healthy. Highly recommend.

Walked in I didn’t have an appointment I was taken right away. The owner Master Bruce took care of me. I was thrilled and very happy with the results. Yes I will go back.

That was awful. Initially quoted $40, I ended up paying $70 plus tax. The hairdresser they gave me (Kim) seemed like she was very inexperienced, which wasn't disclosed upfront. During the haircut, she didn't raise the chair, making it difficult for me to see what was happening. The layers ended up looking super choppy, and she cut way more than I asked for. She insisted on curling my hair (without using heat protectant), leaving a burnt smell. I contacted the salon for a refund later that day, but they asked me to meet the owner. After a 30min wait at the salon, the owner himself cut my hair without my consent. He (Bruce) blamed my hair type for the poor result (but other salons can cut layers for me?) and then tried to get me to get highlights lol. Not sure why the owner has any good reviews. That was awful. I won't be recommending or returning to this salon.

Wasn’t treated like a loyal customer for over 15 years… didn’t even get Bruce and he they charge me extra.

I've been here 3 times now and and the first 2 times I got unsatisfactory haircuts, but the third time I got the best haircut of my life. In my 21 years of living on this earth, I've never had a satisfactory haircut until today. The barbers are very hit or miss, but I can vouch for Money (that's his name), he listens to you abd understands what you YOU want and what YOU like, and doesn't try to force something he thinks is fashionable or cool looking on you. If you go, then ask for Money.

I came in after ruining my hair with box dye, and Bruce helped to regain the confidence in my hair again by managing to get my hair to a natural blonde, as well as giving me gorgeous layers. After the first set of highlights, I explained I wanted my hair to be even lighter, and he added some more highlights to give me optimum results, the hair that I desired. I am so happy I came here, would highly recommend.

The ozone treatment is helping me. I had a huge hair loss and dandruff issue. With the treatment, I find my hair fall has stopped. My scalp is no longer itchy. My hair is a lot more healthier. I thank Bruce for his excellent advice and the treatment that followed. The hospitality at the salon is great, I would recommend hair cuts and hair treatment to anyone who is looking for a professional hairdresser.

This place is so over priced I did an upper lip and chin wax when she said $30 I was in shock when I get to the car and check it wasn’t even done properly. I do not recommend this place cost too much for a bad job.

Been here twice for haircut and both were easily the worst haircuts of my life.
First time I assumed I did a bad job explaining or it was one bad individual but no I went in again yesterday and had another individual attend to me. Despite explaining what I was looking for he totally ignored what I wanted and gave me a cut not even remotely close to what I asked for. He seemed so restless and finished the job in under 5 mins. This when there was not a single other customer at the salon.

To top it off I paid 50 USD bill and he converted it 1: 1 and kept all the exchange gain as a tip I suppose. I was so disappointed and furious with the haircut it was best I left.

Wouldn't recommend.

They are cheap because they do a BASIC job. I will never return for a haircut but return to Joseph's at the Erin Mills Town Center. These stylists at Joseph's are more expensive because they know how to cut hair properly. Roger, at Joseph's worked alongside Vidal Sasson in London England and you can tell. As a professional working woman who values a GOOD cut I know I will NEVER visit FirstChoice again.

I love how professional the staff and they are all friendly. Bruce was so good he achieved the colour I want. Bravo to the team!

Love the end result every single time. Been called picky my whole life, so I’m glad I finally find the salon, Bruce specifically. I don’t know how he does it but he’s got the speed, consistency and the good haircuts. Really appreciate the tips for curling/blow drying my hair which was a first (experience). If you show him a picture, you’re getting that thing.

Called to see if they did braids, said no but when I was about to ask another question they hung up on me. Rude customer service. I was also planning on getting a cut on my sides and a beard cleanup but after that convo it ain’t gone happen. I’ll go elsewhere.

The most consistent and good haircuts I have had in my life. Been to many places to get cuts over the years, always came out with a different cut every visit. Bruce is the most consistently good hair stylist I've gotten a cut from. Always leave satisfied.

First time at the salon, Bruce cut my hair just what I wanted, hes like Edward Sissors Hands lol so fast!

Bruce has been my Barber for around 2-3 years, he has always done a phenomenal job with my haircuts. He is a really fast and ends giving really high quality haircuts. I also appreciate the reasonable prices, definitely recommend him a lot!

Terrible, went for a hair colouring and haircut. The barber Bruce did not even ask which length I wanted on my sides and proceeded with what he wanted. And for the hair colouring, I walked in with Dark brown hair planning to light up to Medium Brown. I am sad to say that nothing has change on my hair, it is still very dark. Wasted my money and you shouldn’t waste yours.

I changed from dark brown to nice white sliver tcolour of my hair, it was an awesome, very professional place

A place with no professionalism, the staff is extremely rude, only for people who are 70 plus, run and served by elderly people who totally lack the zeal of customer service and patience.

Why? Don't be fooled by the older people that work their. The Italians know the best products to use. Diane is amazing! Experience counts when comes to highlights and color. Don't kid yourself, i want a stylist that has tons of experience and knows my hair type. They use top notch products because the results speak volumes. Highly recommended. Customer service is excellent every time.

Amazing haircut. I got my hair colored and trimmed. Andria was very caring and patient while coloring and washing hair. Bruce expert hair cut. I highly recommend. Best experience.
