We had my parents 50th annivarsary last night it was amazing, food and service and the envioment we had the upstairs. We will definitly be back!

I've been here three times now, the first time was during Italian fest, where the owner made space for me and my family, amazing service, but not the reason I returned.

The food is amazing, I also reserved a table for 20 the last time i was there, and everyone in the party was very pleased with the food and service.

I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Our Skip the Dishes delivery driver forgot two pastas in his car and after calling this restaurant, they quickly remade the items and delivered them themselves. Not only is the food great, but obviously their customer service is excellent. Will be ordering again and again, but maybe not through Skip.

This is one of our favourite Italian restaurants. Good food at reasonable prices with friendly and attentive service.

If you want to feel like you're in Italy, this place is currently the best we have in the City of Ottawa. A good place for couples to date. Best go on Saturday on Sunday between 1: 00 and 2: 00 pm to take advantage of available free parking.

Really nice Italian restaurant at the heart of Little Italy (it's more Italian-American). The owner and the waitresses are attentive and reactive. Good choice of Italian wines

My companion and I dined at La Fav last Saturday evening.first time here since the onset of covid. Although it was busy, our server, Nino, was attentive without being intrusive and very pleasant as well. We were on the patio.nice decor. Mixed seafood appy (shrimp, fried calamari and smelts) was plentiful and crisped just right! I really enjoyed the very well presented veal scallopini (nice demi-glaze and the veggies were bright and fresh). My companion enjoyed her veal tortellini which was very tasty (nice gentle touch of spiciness excited it) and very plentiful. Only suggestion is that it might benefit from the addition of a few mushrooms and a touch of fresh basil. Half litres of white and wine were fairly priced and good choices. After a couple of recent resto experiences virtually ruined by really lousy service, this was altogether a good choice and we'll be back again. Thanks, Nick, for keeping up quality at reasonable prices and maintaining good service. THAT is the reason for my 5 star rating. Not a 4 Michelin star place, but good service, freshness and flavour for your $. NO, this is NOT a paid advertisement.just a happy customer.

An unexpected Italian gem. Servers were humble and the food was delicious. I was looking for a great well priced Italian restaurant and I found it. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Overall it was okay. Me and my husband got the chicken and the veal parmesan and it was okay, not the best I’ve had though. I heard the pizza is really good but didn’t get to try it. I recommend for a little casual date but I’ve been to better restaurants.

We had the lobster platter for 4 and it was AMAZING! You won't be disappointed with La Favorita.

Family style Italian restaurant. Food was very good. Thin crust pizzas. Nice salads and variety of pasta dishes.

My wife and I had dinner tonight at LA Favorita. The Greek Salad and combination pizza was so fresh and tasty and Veal Scaloppini was great! The service was great as well!

Very quaint restaurant, food was excellent along with the service and hospitality, a must go to restaurant for anyone in the area.

Lamb chops. Veal. Filet mignon. It was a fitting meal, as a friend, opened a new chapter.

Under the the canopy, with the last of the warm summer nights fading away, the food and drinks were enjoyed.

My filet mignon was done to perfection. The lamb and veal received similar thumbs up.

The service was friendly and engaging - a perfect combination.

Mussels were amazing. The pizza was very crispy but no burnt. Greek salad was very fresh. Sangria is overpriced. Ambiance could be better but the food is bomb.

Delicious food and great service. 100% would come again. You have to try the cappuccino and Tuxedo cake together.

This is just a very basic dining experience. You will come in hungry, and leave full. They have real cloth napkins, I'll give them that. Any box of pasta and bottle of marinara sauce is gonna get you as far as the fare at this shop. No bread or antipasto; and the cheesecake was just a sliver of sadness.

Waited for more than 45 minutes, but the tasty pizza made it up.
A little quick service is needed.

We went to La Favorita yesterday for dinner, and here’s our review:
The service was excellent, with employees that follow rules. The food came quick and was delicious! The portions were good, a small pizza is the size of a circular pillow, and everything is very filling. 2-3 kids could eat one adult meal of noodles. We didn’t order and kids meals, but we shared. Dessert was delicious! We ordered New York Cheese Cake, Tea, Chocolate and Lemon Tartufo, etc. Excellent thing! Waiter was nice and polite. Hope to come again!

We sat outside and it was not the most beautiful BUT there were actual linens on the table and that was very nice. The food was average I would say. The owner is a very good man and has been a restauranteur for decades in Ottawa. We enjoyed visiting with him and for his hospitality. The bruschetta has too many red onions in it, do not recommend. They do not bring bread unless you ask. The veal piccata was delicious, but the veggies and potatoes were not very hot or fresh. The pizza was good, but do not order gluten free pizza it is a terribly hard crust (which the owner deducted from our bill). The veal marsala was not particularly amazing. Overall if it weren't for the kindness of the owner I am not sure I would choose this again. There is a private room option for a group of maybe 20 people which is good to know.

The restaurant decoration is elegant and lovely. Our server was truly nice and helpful. He constantly check in with us to see if we need anything and he was very polite as well but we did not get to know his name. The food is absolutely amazing. I personally love the fettuccine carbonara which came with just enough sauce and cream in it not over. Caesar salad and the calamari is fresh. If we ever return to Ottawa, La Favorita will be a place we definitely visit again.

The restaurant was stinking with a very bad smell. The food was okay. Not that great. They even were out of desserts. One of the pizza we ordered was tasteless. Not going there again I guess. Also not recommended either.

The restaurant has a good vibe in terms of the ambiance. It’s got a good Italian touch. The beer was quite nice. It was my first time when I tried an Italian beer (Moretti). The pizzas were also delicious. The dough was definitely freshly baked (one could make out the difference) and the pizzas were definitely well made. The reason for my three stars is because of the slow service. They took quite a while to bring out the pizzas. So my only comment would be if they could better their service time, it would be perfect.
